  • Everyone that trolls the Great Lakes for Salmon knows how effective cut bait in a meat rig can be. Especially, for big Salmon! Here's a product we've been running for years, kind of behind the scenes, that has taken some of our biggest fish each season. Artificial cut bait strips make fishing meat rigs so much easier. No need to keep it cold, no need to remember the cut bait in the refrigerator, or no need to get your hands stinky.
If we have the confidence to run it in big tournaments against Lake Ontario's best then it has to work! Check out Deep Rig Tackle or Soco Baits to see a great selection.

Thanks for making this video. I love the idea of running artificial bait vs Real meat. Could you do a video on how to tune these?
    Thanks.

6" or 5" preferred for best consistency and roll

Are you talking about the bait size?

Do you add any scent to these or run them clean out of the package? It does not look like these have a chamber for adding any scent of tuna fish, etc?
