A review would leave the government open to litigation by individuals, businesses etc. There is NO WAY they will allow the possibility of any review or inquiry moving forward. Any reference to 'human rights' by the government is lip service at best. The very notion that 'human rights' can be brushed aside in favour of state government policy is laughable. The essence of human rights is that they are inviolable. The fact that they can be disregarded by a sitting government means we don't actually HAVE any 'human rights' in Victoria. The entire proposition is a joke.

We get the government we deserve. Many appear deeply concerned about Victoria, and it seems the egregious spending and infringement upon rights will continue to drive human capital out of the state. This will inhibit innovation, investment and deplete the states ability to service its interest burden. This debt spiral will bankrupt the state.
Once the state government is bankrupt, people who remain in the state can reflect on the choices they made for their families then.
Because their only way out will be to introduce special levies, increase fines and drive businesses out of the state, this will accelerate the decline of a once powerful, wealthy and united state.
It's not going to be stopped. Victoria will collapse faster without international student numbers inflating the GDP, further diminishing the state's credit rating and rendering the tool of both major parties (read: spending money we do not have) moot.

Afterall, the United Australia Party (UAP) managed to get Senator Babet elected at the last federal election (as a victorian representative). Many victorians who might have voted for freedom parties may have already left victoria. Hard to overcome the massive level of corruption in the victorian election process though (ie. The sack dan andrews party that preferenced the labor party etc).
