- On tonight’s episode of Paul Murray Live, Sky News host Paul Murray discusses Albanese’s aggression, Alice Springs youth crime crisis, US politics, and more.
Sky News host Paul Murray says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s personal performance polling results among the Australian public are “starting to take a dive”.
“The signs of aggro and stress that were there at the end of last year are back for the prime minister,” he said.
“And were there for all to see.
“According to Newspoll they are headed toward a minority government … the personal ratings for the prime minister are starting to take a dive.”

It's frustrating because I, at 28, don't trust them as far as I can throw them. But for my Dad's sake, who was expecting the Tax cuts we still haven't got, I put labour above liberal... but both were still 2nd to last & last on my list.
The only thing I was interested in was Albo saying he'd increase centrelink, at the time I was on 250 a fortnight after rent & it was hell but it wasn't just for me, & the 275 power bill thingy... which as we know, we aren't getting now...

Back at the dawn of her political career, (as a Dandenong Councillor), she was often cynically referred to as "Fresh Air Claire", the next big thing. Despite her relatively meteoric rise into federal politics, she remains a person of little to no substance, the "fresh air" seemingly to have morphed into "stale air". It beggars belief that people of her calibre, continually manage to find their way into positions of authority. A tailor made fit, for a spot in the Albanese government, I guess. Heaven help us.
Interesting background. You are quite right about people of lower calibre finding their way into positions of power. I have a theory that this is mainly due to the continual dumbing down of our education systems (here and elsewhere in the world) over the last 30 years or so and we have started to see the results of this policy in the last couple of decades. Claire O'Neil is low grade, but Andrew Giles is worse. The left also have have this unwavering belief that they are right (with supporting facts and evidence, being optional) and become increasingly loud and aggressive when challenged.
