- Sky News host Andrew Bolt highlights the “split” between Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong over the Israel-Hamas war.
The Prime Minister has repeatedly refused to demand Israel immediately stop fighting Hamas, while Ms Wong called for an “immediate cessation of fighting in Gaza”.
The Foreign Minister on Saturday repeated she wanted “an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, leading to a sustainable ceasefire”.
“It is a split where Wong, the Foreign Minister, is winning over Albanese who only happens to be the Prime Minister, which is bad luck for Israel and a great win for the Hamas terrorist group,” he said.
“It also raises serious questions about who's really in charge of this government and its foreign affairs.
“It is extraordinary to see a Prime Minister openly contradicted by his Foreign Minister but that's exactly what we're getting.”

I am a holocaust survivor, about 50 years ago I decided to migrate to Australia to leave behind my bad and bitter memories about Europe and the loss of my entire family. This was at the time when moving to Australia was a good move. The country was peaceful and gave refuge to people being scared to be a Jew. Nowadays, I regret that I ever came to Australia as it is full of antisemitism and as I often fear unsuitable to live here as a Jew. People in Australia using multiculturalism to impose and fight out their problems of their nations they have been migrating from.
Nowadays, our left-wing Marxist Labour government supports the Gaza and with this the HAMAS ideology not taking into consideration the pain and sufferings of the Jewish citizens of Australia. It is clear to me why this is happening. There are 2 Million Muslims living in Australia and they are prospective voters for the Labour Party. This is contrary to only 90 Thousand Jews. Nevertheless, most of the Jews are conservative voters anyhow.
For political reasons, the Federal Government of Australia preferred to please one group and not the other. Such a "parvenu" as Mr Albanese, lying his way through politics and the last election and we have a Foreign Minister with an attitude that is literally "foreign". They are only interested in pleasing and financially supporting Palestine and with this HAMAS.
This is obviously as to please voters in Western Sydney and to get their votes at any forthcoming election. Ms Wong is not caring about the victims of Israel in this war, in her arrogance she ignores them.
I will do my personal best to make sure that nobody of the Jewish community will vote in any forthcoming Federal Election for this 'lame, lying lot'.

If she cared about humanitarian causes, she would call for the immediate release of the hostages, knowing that could actually end this war. She would remind the world of the thousands and thousands of Israelis who are still refugees in their country, the rockets and missiles that are still being launched by Hamas and Hezbollah. She would be concerned about the many injured, traumatized youngsters and children, victims of Hamas. She would send condolences to all those Kibbutzim whose slain members have advocated peace and co-existence with their Gazan neighbours until October 7th. But they don't count of course. That vial woman is a disgrace to our country.
