Did you find the exam questions more difficult than the practice tests you had with your training material? Any other tips you can share? I'm not in Hawaii. I am in Oregon. But love the video.
I wish this was still accurate! The quality of the PSI exam experience has gone downhill in one year. I was completely prepared for the in depth admissions process and researched the regulations through the Hawai‘i REC and the little info PSI provides. Psi outsources to India or Pakistan now and there is a language barrier. Very poor written language skills and difficult to understand what the proctors are asking. Each proctor makes up their own version of the regulations. Hawaii Real estate commission allows a handheld battery operated calculator,because you are calculating in depth math problems. During all my attempts to log on to test, i had 7 different proctors. 2 of them understood hand held calculator was acceptable. 4 said to use the on screen calculator. And one ended my test after i completed 57 of 80 questions because i was using calculator to compute closing costs! I hope others file complaints with the real estate commission in Honolulu as well if they get this treatment.

You’re welcome. They provide a calculator within the PSI exam. When you complete your exam, before the entire psi exam shuts down, they tell you right away if you passed or not, then you get an email of the results.
You don’t get licensed right away after passing exam. After passing exam, they will email you instructions on how to apply for your license within your state.

Hello Mark! No worries! I had the most trouble with the state portion then I did the National. I would recommend (Quizlet, Prep Agent on youtube, or email mr. Abe Lee with Abeleeseminars.com, he's very helpful with giving you some tips on how to pass the state portion of the exam, he was my teacher for the real estate courses.) try all these tips. lol, it's funny because that's what I was doing. Then I was thinking out loud (talking to myself). Trying to figure out what was the best answer for a specific question. Then I got a message to not move my mouth so much 😅maybe you can move your mouth, just not so often as they'd like you to. I know, I thought it was weird too. I still took and passed the exam though.
Hello, What you can do, is use your desktop and run the diagnostic testing thru the PSI testing website. it will tell you if you can use the desktop or not. i think it should be okay, as long as you have your webcam
Good question. I believe they will know if you opened up another window to google the answers. I never tried it nor would I risk it, it’s better to honesty take the exam without cheating. the PSI exam is the only window that should be up.
I believe when Applying for a real estate license you won’t need a picture. In Hawaii, I don’t think you’ll need to. But I’m not sure in other states. But if you’re talking about those nice professional photos the agents take that they use on their business cards and other marketing materials? That you’ll have to do in person. For professional photos, I plan to take them myself. Haha we’ll see how that goes 😂 lmk if anything.

Hello, once you get cert on completing the class education and passing the school exam. you're not licensed yet. you just got the requirement to take the state exam after completing and passing the school exam. so it's 2 exams you'll need to pass, the school exam and the state exam. then you can apply to get your license. (yes i know, its very tedious)

you got this! I never thought that i'll be able to see myself pass that test. my teacher told me the test is a passing C grade. if we can get past that, we're good lol. if you're able to pass the school exam, it is very similiar to the state exam. (both state portion and national portion)

It took me 4 tries to finally pass. i don't take failing lightly myself, but i had to learn, keep going, and never give up. it took me 2 years to finally pass. I believe in you! you got this. Hello, I believe there is no program to download. 30 mins before your test time, it's best to run a computer check through the exam website to make sure your computer is compatible with taking the exam.

You usually have to wait 10-15 minutes after exam program closes out on its own. there are several times you find out if you passed. once you finished both portions, via email (try to check your spam mail also), then you can also check online the psi website and download the results from there i believe. The test is fullscreen yes. I believe there is an option for you to zoom into the question if you have a hard time seeing :)
