Hey! Great video. Could have used more Mrs Some Dads Cook. Glad she was there with the assist. How do you catch the grease off of that big boy?
Thanks Steve! We'll throw the Mrs in some more videos. There is a drip pan you put under it, right below the holes on the front left.
Thanks for the video! Can you use any type of oil? Or some work better than others. Best Regards!
There are a lot of oils you can use. Canola is cheap and works great. Flax works too but is a bit pricey and goes bad quicker
thanks!@@somedadscook
Hi. Do you need to flip it over and season the bottom too?
Yes. Just for the initial seasoning. If any liquid go thru the drip holes and splatter underneath you could get some rust
Can you use metal utensils to cut meat etc on while cooking say chicken or steak for hibachi?
Yes. I do it all the time.
😱 I’m trying to season mine just the initial wash and first oil that thing was smoking so much even before the oil my whole house is filled with bad smell and smoke I had to shut it off and the smoke is still pouring off it because I can’t move it
Describe the difference in the cooking characteristics of the thicker "Pro" model Vs the standard model. Thumbs up!
I will do a video on that in the near future
Also can you explain or ask the powers that be why there is no front lip? Even a small one to stop oil or drippings from cascading over the no edge. Thank you. I have asked the question before years ago and no response @@somedadscook
