    My wife & I spent years burning candles, constantly sick, eyes always itchy and dry. Couldn't figure it out. 2 years ago we switched to expensive beeswax candles and barely burn them anymore and all of the symptoms gone! Also did animal based diet too on top of that change & I personally haven't been sick once in 2 years. Not even a cold.

    Paul! My wife runs a small business making beeswax candles entirely by herself. She is extremely particular about her scents and every ingredient she uses. Her candle company is called "Bombaeco", and she’s also opening a 'Candle Bar' here in South Dakota where people can make their own candles. I wanted to share her business because she works so hard for our family, and I’m incredibly proud of her.

      I think most people burn candles because they smell good rather than to cover up a bad smell of an unclean home-at least I hope that’s the case with most people! 😂 Though, my SIL has beagles, and they’re adorable but known for not smelling good unless you bathe them daily, so she does use toxic fabric softener to try to cover the smell, so maybe there are other dog owners doing the same with candles. 🤣

    I had to leave a family event because of that. They had 7 candles and 3 plug ins. The candles were also old as hell so the fragrance was harsh. Ite just crazy nobody else felt that way or thought the same. Society is so use to these products, its a struggle to get them to find alternatives or even believe what you say when the science and stats are right there in the palm of your hands.

Years ago I had to argue with a yoga instructor who insisted he had to have candles burning during class. I couldn't be around those things without getting migraines, but he wouldn't believe they were harmful. I'm so glad that there is now more research and awareness of these toxic substances in so many household items.

    Maybe burning your seed oils would be a better alternative

    Maybe someone should try using animal fat like beef tallow and make a bacon scenic candle

      The inuit use whale blubber candles. Render the fat and stick a wick in. Works just fine, but I don't know why you'd bother unless you don't have light.

    Cant beeswax candles have harmful ingredients added to them too? I guess its worth learning more about why beeswax is potentially safer, and glance at some of the products that are available.

    Fragrance in general is bad for people with chemical sensitivities. It can cause me dermatitis and throat and nasal irritation.

    How are they allowed to sell these if they are toxic

    • @ArgoX2024
      @ArgoX2024 27 дней назад

      Because they are not and your boy is full of crap. Countless studies substantiate that the levels of these toxins are at numbers far lower than the legal maximum and that proper use causes no harm to you. The fact that morons keep trying to make this a thing only to sell you an alternative is what really should be illegal.

      Most toxic products that are banned were legal at some point
