Yeah, hands are really time consuming and tedious to make so I append them from another Blender file. I have four different types of standardized hands I made ahead of time with preset poses that can be toggled by a controller bone. The standardized hands also helps me switch out different weapon attachments easily between projects. The same overall function of the hands are in the Gundam Mk.V blend file on my Gumroad page ( mjeff3d.gumroad.com/l/ORX-013M ). If you plan on creating your own type of hands, I suggest using those as a base or as a reference.
