Excuse me for drawing hasty conclusions, but this guy sounds like he's pretty young. Probably doesn't relate to lyrics like this yet.
In a sentimental moment I like em fine. Nothing ground-breaking but it fits the mood. I'm not feeling his delivery of em here though. Much prefer the album version. Music and mood don't really call for this staccato-ish style. In my opinion any way.
