Great video to demo hdr on the HT3550. Lamp was in economic mode, iris on high, bc on, wcg off. Screen is the Akia 125" zero edge. Made by Elite Screens.
This is just a RUclips hdr demo video on the projector. Gaming is awesome on it though, a bit more lag but an overall amazing and immersive experience!
125 inches sounds insane. Hows the light performance. I figured with eco mode and that big of a picture that it might struggle. Do you find it to be to dim at that size for 3D? I'm planning to get this in 2021 or late 2020. I'm probably only going to be able to get away with 90inches or 100 inches because of my room size but I'm excited regardless and your channel has got me more excited
Hey! Thanks for the kind words! For me, in my room the 125" is just incredible. I haven't noticed any decrease in light output after switching from my old 106" screen, or from normal lamp mode to eco. The only time brightness takes a noticeable hit is with the wcg filter on, and even then it's still good. It also helps that I have some black velvet on my ceiling and darker walls. Being in a living room, I didn't want to go too crazy making it a bat cave lol I've yet to try the 3d, still need some glasses. I think you'll really enjoy this pj, even on a smaller screen :)
@@Subacabra do you normally find that you keep the WCG on or off when watching films? Also thanks for the lengthy reply. Looking forward to my projector next year. Slowly saving up for it
@@RonkeyRong I leave it off 80% of the time. I've also found that leaving brilliant color off looks better in my opinion, and cuts down on any banding in bright scenes.
I have this projector. Its incredible for its price point.
I totally agree! I really enjoy it :)
@@Subacabra is it 120 hz
60hz I believe
@@Dman4901 From their spec sheet. Horizontal Frequency
