    I have the 3550 since 2020 and love it,,,since it was a new build out i was able to project it to the wall ,set it with 0 keystone, no zoom,no vertical shift up or down,,,then bought the screen material and build the screen to the size that was projected on the wall.

    How does the dynamic iris performance compare between the 3550 and the 3560? Also, is there perceptible pulsing of the iris on the 3560?
    I am a 3550 owner and when I first bought it the pulsing was so apparent it was distracting when on. Now with the current firmware it has eliminated the pulsing almost entirely even when on high.

    • @thedaingeon
      @thedaingeon  9 месяцев назад

      No pulsing that I have seen so I think BenQ has figured that out through updates. 3560 Definitely looks amazing with dynamic iris function. Hope that helps, please like and subscribe

    The predecessor HT3550 did not turn off when it received the off signal over HDMI CEC (turning on and volume controls were fine). This was never fixed with the firmware updates.
    Does this HT3560 still have this problem?

    I recieved the ht4550i and it is ..Fantastic..colors pop..I didn't need the dongle...I have Roku 4k ultra's for streaming..It was a small challenge to fit my existing ceiling mount..but the horizontal and vertical shift was very helpful to match my 150" screen..I am getting 2960 ansi lumens in normal, bright cinema with my light meter..waiting for Your review of the ht4550i when You get it..AAA++++ video's from You..

    Amazing review! I’ve been looking for a projector for the last month and I think I’ve narrowed it down to this and the Xgimi Aura. Can I ask which one would you get? I nearly bought the Hisense L9G but slightly out off because of no 3D.
    Thanks in advance!

      @@thedaingeon I’d say I’m maxing out around £2500 as I still need to acquire a screen. I’ve been looking tirelessly and narrowed it down to these 3 (I think) I like the look of the 4550i but at £3000 and a long throw it’s not practical for my space really (I know the 3560 is long throw but it’s also £1500 in the uk.

    How would you compare it to epson hc3800(tw7100)?
    I am really torn. Epson is brighter but less resolution. But what about the colors? Is the benq really that better here? What about the contrast/black level.
    Thank you😊

    • @thedaingeon
      @thedaingeon  9 месяцев назад +1

      Your best bet is to purchase both and return the one you don’t like. From my limited research the Epson is better brightness and higher quality build but out dated. The BenQ has great features and is also super sharp but less lumens. I would probably go Epson if I were you.

    Hi, great comparison and I do have one question - how do I enable 1080p in 120Hz on Benq 3550/W2700? I can see it in Manual but even with HDMI 2.1 fibre cable I'm not able to enable it from my PC/Laptop. It's only 60Hz in both 4k and FullHD, first 120Hz I can see with 1280x800.
    Do I have to enable something or disable something?

    • @thedaingeon

      If you’re using a PC you will need to adjust your PC display settings not the Projector. In the past I have used the display settings in windows and sometimes the AMD or Nvidia menu depending on your GFX card. Hope that helps…. @thedaingeon I'm considering the 3560 as an upgrade to my 2050. the 2050 is probably going to need a lamp replacement soon and now it's also having an intermittent issue with remote control functionality. So, it seems like it's time to just replace the whole unit. But, I'm torn between getting another lamp-based model, even if the lamp-life is better (eco), or getting an LED model, even it's only 1080P still. The 2060 looks like a nice unit that accepts a 4K signal and does HDR with an LED light source. I don't think a decent LED 4k model is in my price range. $1500 is kind of as high as I'm willing to go right now unless there was a really compelling reason to spend more. What's your opinion on 4k vs HD in this scenario? is the 4k picture worth it over a cheaper 1080P with HDR on a power-efficient and long lasting LED Light?
    Thanks!

    • @asheler1
      @asheler1 10 месяцев назад

      I guess I should add that I have a very well light controlled room and I'm using a standard non-ALR screen. So, the 2200 ANSI Lumens out of the 2050 I have now seems like plenty of brightness for my needs, even with eco enabled. I don't game a lot but I would like to be able to game more on the projector so decent input lag is a consideration too but not a deal-breaker. I mostly just watch movies from my Plex server or the streaming services. The only 4K HDR content would come from streaming shows and occasional streaming movie.

      I am in your situation. Looking to upgrade ht2050a. I think the 4K sharpness and slight improvement in contrast and black levels are the only benefits I am seeing over 2050. Not sure if $1600 is worth it. I may wait for sometime to get a used one in eBay under 1000 in few months

    Will mostly use the projector Movies and have a dark room set up for HT. Looks like 3550 would cut it for me. Do I need to be worried about no support from BenQ since its an older model and also the components used might be old since its a 2019 model? Any technology advancement in the components of 3560? Also who sells the 3550? Can see only a 3rd party selling in Amazon. Best Buy/BHP etc don't have it. Is 3560 comparable to Epson 3800? I want to project to a 135" screen and my ceiling plug for the projector is at 13'. Epson 3800 doesn't seem to have the throw to project within that distance. Any guidance there?

    Hi please give me a response, I am planning to buy this but however already have a good experience with Epson LCD projector .and worried to buy This BenQ projector because of picture quality and rainbow effect caused by DLP projectors like BenQ,. and in other side Epson projectors known as Pro UHD which only has 4 million pixels even with a 4K resolution still lacks of pixels compare to this BenQ model who have 8 million pixels, is it mean this BenQ model is real 4k and superior ? and Epson tw 6150 is not ? Which one I should choose ? Thanks
