Just ordered the full titanium CRT and plan on retaining passenger pegs. Thanks for this video, I have asked numerous people to try this before i made my purchase and you were the first person to come through. Thanks man! 🤜🤛
Alfavitaga. What’s up bro?? Great vid. Always professional!!! When I get my bike back I’ll either shoot a video or I’ll shoot you a picture of how it’s installed with a CRT -1 exhaust with the OEM passenger pegs. It’s been in the shop for three months. Still waiting on Aprilia to send over the requested parts, fairings, etc. Very discouraging of how long I have to wait for these parts, but I’ll get back to you on this point and then you can share it with others. Thanks buddy. Always watching. Oh, and by the way, on your last video of describing all of your mods on your bike, which is great by the way, I’ll probably have to chime in later, but I really don’t want you to get rid of that red rim because that’s such a signature. look of the Aprilia RS 660 and it’s just gonna look like the 2023 model. It’s a very unique look of having the red rim on the front and the black in the back. I’ll never change that look it’s just such an eyecatcher when you’re riding down the street or when the bike is parked or when you’re walking up to the bike and you’re looking at your bike and your so personally impressed about how awesome it looks. Not to say that black on black wouldn’t look great but I just think it sets it apart from the rest with the red rim on the front . Just my thought bro. Ride safe, be smart, stay alert and talk to you soon.
Thank you brother! The red wheel has mixed feelings. I agree that its a signature look, especially with the Trofeo having a red wheel. But the black wheel does make it look meaner. Can’t go wrong with either. ✌️
@@ALFAVITAGA I respect your decision whatever you choose. Ultimately it’s what you want to accomplish/see/get out of your own bike. It will look bad ass no matter what you do…it’s an APRILIA!! Lol. Talk soon. Well I guess I know witch way your going next, 😂. Now what light weight rim/rims are you going with is the question?? Do they make Carbon Fiber type rims, that might look sick especially when the sun hits it.
I haven’t found carbon fiber wheels for the RS660. I can’t even find magnesium wheels. Only forged aluminum. But to be honest the stock RS660 wheels are pretty light as they are. You don’t save a lot of weight with aftermarket wheels, at least not as much compared to an RSV4.
@@ALFAVITAGA thank you for that helpful info. I will keep that in mind for the future. I love the rims I have. I probably will never ever change them. The only way they get swapped out if they incur any kind of damage or wear and tear. Anyway, look forward to the next upgrade on your bike never ever ever sell that rs660, lol unless you wanna do a giveaway which I’m up for it, lol.

@@Abbe-wc4gx Yup. ruclips.net/video/yuARy16pstI/видео.htmlsi=IMz-xoPzPa5J8cxF One tip is if your foot brake lever touches the belly cover, bend the fairing mount closer to the engine just a bit. That will pull the belly fairing away from the brake lever. But thats because I installed aftermarket rearsets. Stock lever might be just fine.

I see. Maybe the fueling of your map is too rich and creates more pops on shifts. Maybe the PAIR system is not deactivated on your custom map. These are information that only your tuner would know. ✌️
Anyone who wants to try this to get the rear pegs off. Please don't. Trust me using a battery drill is a sure fire way to strip those bolts. Especially on that angle exactly how he has it set up
The drill should definitely not be used to remove the bolts or even screw them back in. They will 100% strip. I have removed the bolts previously and removed all the red loctite, therefore they are not as tight anymore and I can use the drill. When I unscrew them I break them loose with the ratchet and then I use the drill. When I screw them, I start them by hand and then use the drill until I find resistance and then I finish them with the ratchet. They wont strip because I have removed the loctite. You can see on my exhaust install video where the bolts were removed for the first time, I didn’t use a drill but I removed them all the way with the ratchet. And it still took about 8 minute to remove one bolt. Thats how tight they were. And even with the ratchet you still run the risk of stripping them. For some it may even be necessary to heat the bolts. But once the bolts are removed multiple times and the loctite is brushed off, then it’s completely safe to use the drill as I did.
Thanks man appreciate it. I started with battery drill. But realised straight away was way to tight so used ratched. Same thing, took me ages to go get on bolt out. Did one side fine and now other side with ratchet also has stripped them. What can u do once stripped to get them out
@ALFAVITAGA would you recommend just getting the stainless steel one? Are there any difference in the sound between the two? If I really don't care about the weight savings and the cool bluing effect, I could save the money and just get the stainless steel one no?

I really don’t think so. As you read I never had an issue. But officially SC Project directs to not do it to be on the safe side.

It will go away in time. Mine did. Just use it more that usual to break it in.
@@ALFAVITAGA Thank you!
I agree, just use it and it will subside over time. 👍👍
Mine actually fit perfect with the peg. And I have the muffler pushed in all the way
I noticed that on my friend’s RS660. His goes all the way in too. Very odd.
Maybe its the steel version and not the titanium? They are very similar
@@21AKIMBOX It is the Titanium. I had more 660 owners report to me that their Titanium was fitting the peg perfect. It is very odd, what can I say..
I want to ask something If possible. My height is 1.75cm (5.7 feet). Do I fit this bike? I mean am I short for this?
5’7” is 170cm. 175cm is 5’9”. Both heights fit this bike perfect!
Hi. What size are the copper plated nuts or does anyone have the part number please?
If you are referring to the 4 copper nuts of the exhaust headers, they are 10mm.

The exhaust hanger? It comes with the SC Project exhaust.
does this not change the sounds of the crt?

It depends where you live. In the USA there are multiple vendors that sell it. AF1 Racing, Motovation USA, HSBK, MotoD Racing and so on.
Dude, I can't even get that 13mm to turn
Be patient with it.. ✌️
This might melt your passengers boot
It did not. I tested it for hours. Passenger boot was fine.
Just make sure they ride barefoot so they don’t melt their boots
Lazy SC project guys !! 😠 they want you to eliminate the option to get a passenger if buy their exhaust !! SMH
Its a race exhaust made for the track. You can’t blame them. They make street exhausts that fit the pegs.
That’s actually not true. If you go on there site there is a certain CRT project exhaust that fits with the pegs of this bike.
@@AuthenticWithIsaiah I thought that was the only available…I need the one that can be used with the peg because I ride with a female passenger 95% of the time. 😂
@@junito1008 I thought so too, but the one that’s steel is compatible
Idk why they wouldn’t just design the damn muffler to fit the pegs. Seems like lazy engineering to make that can fit other bikes.
That would essentially eradicate the need for the stainless version that fits the pegs. It would have made more sense.
