This is the best RS660 channel hands down haha. Thank you so much man. Happy for you that you got the RSV4. Sadly that one will cost me 7.3K/year in insurance. An unjustifiable price even if I was a billionaire
Thank you! Lol story of my life every time I try to record a video, cars decide to fly by. So I’m looking around to make sure no vehicles are in the proximity before I start the engine. 😅
Thank you! It took a lot of effort to acquire both exhausts on the same day and swap exhausts on the same day to get an accurate sound comparison. I appreciate it!
@@ARMADASS I had to drive 100 miles to meet a person that had an SC1-R exhaust to lend me. Then drive 100 miles back. Took the exhaust in my backpack with tools to remove/install it, and rode 50 miles to this location to shoot the sound comparison while swapping it back and forth. Rode back home 50 miles and then scheduled a dyno where I had to swap exhausts at the dyno again to dyno both exhaust on the same day for accurate WHP comparison. When all was done I had to drive back 100 miles to return the SC1-R and 100 miles to return. Yeah, I myself can’t believe I did all that. But I wanted to as there was no video comparing the two on the same day on the same bike, both sound and dyno. 👌
The greatest exhaust comparison I have seen so far 🎉 Also, I’m looking for a number : does someone know how much dB we have on the CRT WITHOUT any gaz. Indeed, sc-project says « 115 dB @5250 rpm » but i asked them and they don’t know (it is important to me because some tracks don’t allow bikes with 95+ dB) Thanks
Thank you! I don’t have the db numbers but I can tell you that a track that has sound restrictions will not pass the CRT. They probably wont pass the SC1-R either unless the db killer is installed.
I plan on getting this bike, I love crt but I would be using this as a commuting bike most of the time but def would still rip the bike around for fun, my only question is does the Sc1-r still pop and crackle? I want something loud that has the awesome crackle and pop, but from what I’ve seen the CRT seems like TOO much.
If you are going to commute with it get the SC1-R. The CRT is too much for everyday. The SC1-R may not be as loud as the CRT but it sounds amazing and it pops and crackles. Down the road you can always buy the CRT slip on as a secondary muffler for the loud days of riding.
Do you know the diameter of the crt system? I’m planning on getting one crt titanium system but it’s too loud for the track near me so I’m planning on buying a second slip on for track days.
In your opinion which do you like more? I just bought this bike. Take delivery of it in 2 days.. def want a throaty deep sound to it and to spit flames. I got a Last call 2023 charger RT as well, that wakes ups the neighborhood. Want the bike to do the same lol

i really like the look of the CRT but i like the sound of the mivv (because its not too loud)... should I get the CRT? is my neighbor going to hate me? LOL
Your neighbor and your ears are going to hate you with the CRT. You should choose depending on the use of your bike. If you only ride for fun at the twisties and you want the top sound experience, get the CRT. If you use your bike to commute in the city often then get the Mivv. ✌️
@@ALFAVITAGA how bad was the noise on the CRT for you (you ride with earplugs or nah)? I always ride with earplugs... would it be too loud still? I don't ride much, probably a few hours over the weekend only.
@@lamlangthien3882 In the beginning I couldn’t ride without earplugs. I physically couldn’t, as the sound would pierce my ear and hurt. Gradually somehow I eased the earplugs out and I got used to the sound. Now I ride without earplugs but I also have a permanent ringing in my right ear. So if you want to save your ears, always wear earplugs with a CRT. You won’t have an issue with earplugs. ✌️

CRT sounds like a fart can owned by dudes in texas who also have a straight piped camaro that they insist on starting up at 530 am everyday in the suburbs. Its a no from me dawg.
I will respectfully disagree that it sounds like a fart can. It is the best sounding exhaust for the RS660 by popular opinion. It is overwhelmingly loud though and its not for everyone. Definitely not a good option for people that plan to start their bike at 530am. Its not a commuter exhaust. But if you want your 660 to stand out and turn heads, the CRT is the way to go. The problem is that people that talk down on the CRT, have never heard it in person.
@@ALFAVITAGA There's always that ONE responder in the group! I loved the mods video. Great information and a great channel for the RS660. Many thanks for your time in making these videos.
@pinoykillaz438 By popular opinion nothing beats the CRT in sound. But the SC1-R has lower bassy tune and deeper sound compared to the CRT. SC1-R sounds amazing, it just doesn’t rip like the CRT does. The Mivv underbelly sounds even more deeper and bassy. If you’re not looking for that insane ripping sound, then the SC1-R is a great choice.
