- This is the departure from Kuwait City International Airport in a Bombardier Global Express. While the sand and dust was quite thick, we still had a great view of the Persian Gulf. I hope you enjoy!

Awesome to see regular posts again, and glad Alerion let you start using the call signs in videos.
I thought he forgot to sensor it.

Brought back many memories for me. I was the Ops Super for the USAF there 20 years ago. It looks exactly the same!
Wow. What a blast from the past it was to watch your video flying from Kuwait. It’s been 19 years since I served on that airfield. It’s changed a bit. Thank you for sharing.
It’s been so long since I watched this channel. Glad it’s popped up,again
Yes Sean... glad to see videos more often! Thanks to your company for finally allowing the call signs. We appreciate it! 🙏🏾
Wish CPL and company all the best!
Greetings from Norway. This was a good one (as usual). Not so easy to always "get" Arabic/English. Love your channel.
Oh how I love Norway! I bet it's beautiful there right now...
Yep. You should try it sometime (Norway that is). Back in Barbados for three weeks.
I like this captain! And you have to admit that was pretty funny with you guys lined up and the controller trying to figure out the tow.
Love the thin blue line bracelet on your copilot!
Did something happen? Lol so many videos Sean! I'm glad to see regular content again, kinda like the old days.
Just saw 80AK in Aspen! Hope we get some new posts soon!
Awesome guys! Safe travels great flying!
Keep the videos coming… Thanks!!
You guys were flying on a tight rope in the Persian gulf between Saudi Airspace and Iranian Airspace.
Yes indeed...
Nice shout out for the old Hawker, still my favorite
Very Nice! Another post! time to enjoy!
Love the videos. Good to see you guys again regularly!!
Nice ride. Nice to see regular posts again......👍
Awesome sean glad to see you again
Can't wait for part 2, good job guys👍👍👍👍👍👍
So good to see you back! Donnie seems super cool!
Glad youre back!!! Missed your videos.
Great to see you posting. Welcome the new crew!
Nice team work
Thank You. Super Stoked you VLOG again!
Thank you for sharing your trip.
Wow! That seemed like a challenge.
Love the channel. Great content. Thanks
Another cool entertaining video. As always. Thanks Sean. Happy landings from Portugal (as usual)
Sean, nice CRM flow teamwork.
I enjoy watching you guys flow in the cockpit. It is a great lesson for others, as to what determines overall safety.
Nice to see you back in the saddle.
Tough to comprehend ATC. Good job guys 🤜🏻🤛🏼
Wow, Alisia!!!
Outstanding video of a different kind of origin. Dreary looking airport.
Cool video!
Great vid Sean, love when you fly into Teterboro though, thats the best!😅
You did a good job of understanding the controllers. I flew with an instructor who flew a lot of international flights, and he told me that the official aviation language internationally was "Pigeon English".
HAHA! That's so true...
I can understand US pilots having that problem, I have the same issue with the FAA ATC guys. What language do they speak?
@@Swaggerlot Most U.S. air traffic controllers are good and speak very clearly. A few, not so good. The trouble I've had is the frequency congestion in areas like FXE where everyone has to speak pretty fast. I hope ACARS gets rolled out to more airports and the clearances can be seen on an iPad. That would cut down on congestion.
@@CorporatePilotLife Happy new year Shawn! 🎉
Nice to see more content, Sean. I've been over there, but I didn't think much of it.
Love the B&T reference, Donny!!!!!
Not the place to miss way points huh. Lived the video.
Thank you
Ahh, brings back memories, both good and bad, of flying a corporate BAC 1-11 around the Middle East. We did a few trips there back in the day.
Always felt so good to leave.
Another nice one sir, the ATC would have me losing my mind!
Great to see more videos, and call signs again!! Seems like you click with this captain like you clicked with John which is awesome!
Awesome job
Seeing that old Hawker on ramp taxi out just triggered a very old childhood memory for me: I had a die-cast Hawker-Siddeley 125 toy plane back in the 1970s about maybe 4" in wingspan or so. It was blue and white. That home I grew up in probably still has it buried in the back yard somewhere. 😆
Just a short comment. I truly enjoy your posts. I am a new rookie student pilot with a goal of getting to your world as soon as I can reach competency in addition to qualification. You help me stay motivated with these post so know your helping the new guy keep focused on the prize.
I think that’s the first time I’ve seen a fa since you were flying with Jon. Nice to see things loosening up.
Sean, so great to see such great video and sound quality. I could watch your flights all day. Thank you for the level of detail you give. Also, what does the heat do to the performance of the aircraft?
Last time I was in Kuwait the runways could only be accessed by helicopter! Lot and lots of potholes on all the runways complements of the United States Air Force 😂😂😂 summer of 91’ what good time had by all at Camp Freedom. That last controller was making me nervous!
Nice to hear I wasn't the only one regarding the last controller
Great video. Gulf weather not at its best for aerial or ground level sightseeing this time of year especially with those temperatures. The views at night are spectacular overflying with all the cities and the refinery flares. Stay safe out there😎
Totally agree
Nice video, I spent many years flying in and out of Kuwait as a flight mechanic and was broke there five months ago, 105 deg. at night.
That sand must be hard on the equipment, especially the engines.
Yeah...we usually do an engine compressor wash after we get home from those trips
@@CorporatePilotLife
Like flying thru fine sandpaper, I'll bet.
Fantastic video
Thank you!
I'm based in Dubai now. Everything I see in this video looks so normal to me. In the beginning, it was hard to understand all the accents but you get used to them. Great video!
That was fun. You guys were pretty patient waiting on the runway for departure. And agree, don't go near Iran - That Government is nuts. Nice post!!!
Great vlog as always! ATC is hard to understand. Keep up the good work. Be safe!
what a vlog!
Thank you!
The best day a hawker will ever see is the day it gets scrapped. You can’t change my mind 🤣
Good old KCIA. Never got to see the landscape when I flew out of there. My aircraft didn’t have windows in the back. 😮
Tell your captain thanks for wearing the thin blue line bracelet… he must had been Police before becoming a pilot. Oh and I Love watching your videos …keep sending them out please…
OMG I was nervous waiting for you guys to takeoff. That’s just the worst, and the language problems between the controller and the other pilot just makes for pucker up time!!!!
That does not look like a scenic area, that's for sure! I know it's desert, but that is SO desolate!!
I'm just glad I have little to no chance of ever flying over there! Is there 'chaff' on the Global? LOL I've always struggled with accents, I didn't get a lot of what we was saying. Very cool, thanks Sean!! 8) --gary
The dust must be tough on engines.
Been there quite a few times but it was a lot less sedate then! lol
I see it hasn’t changed 😅
Love your videos...can you maybe tell us what type aircraft your flying in the beginning of your videos. I'm not a pilot but love watching your content.
That's a great idea...thank you!
Like seeing uploads again! Are you still flying Gulfstreams and Hawkers as well? There was a very nice G4 at KPWT the other day when I was out there with my father in law. I’m assuming it was a military dignitary visiting Naval Base Kitsap. We flew in his 172 from KPWT to KORS got some lunch and flew home. ( I’m allowed to speak pilot terminology since I use Xplane and being a avgeek lol)
HAHA! That's awesome! I haven't flown the Gulfstreams or Hawkers in a while, but I still have some videos of them that I will be filtering into the feed
@@CorporatePilotLife Just the G-IV clips. 😏
Great video
Love the C-130 hanging out..."C" what I did there....
Wow...now who has the dad jokes? HAHA!
I always enjoy the overseas videos. Man, ATC was a little chatty with that C130 pilot I didn't think he would ever figure out where she wanted to park. 😂
wow whatta ride likes nice :)
Adventures in the Sand Box.
Hey Guys,
Sean, what Global are you flying? I must have missed it in all the videos.
Thanks
hi from australia
Worked in Kuwait City in late 70s and doesn’t sound like it has improved much. It is a place where you always think about leaving.
Probably you had a shitty job living in a shitty area. 🤣🤣
I think we need to hear some Shaun Dad jokes 🤣🤣🤣
Don't tempt me...
@@CorporatePilotLife 🤣🤣
Yall do a lot of NY to Palm Beach..lol
Is it possible to mount the camera a little lower so we can see the cockpit like we’re sitting in the jumpseat?
Wow, so how often are you international are how long are you typically gone for on these trips?
Always wanted to know this: what sunglasses do real life pilots wear? But forget the aviators, what i want to know is what brands / models do pilots trust when they're on duty. Thanks!
You said you guys got to go for a walk. Is there any safety protocols in place by the company while youre in that area of the world?
The ATC tho... 😮
Accidentally flying into Iranian airspace would be a for sure "OH 💩!" moment.
Do you like the Global or the Gulfstream better? Helping me make my decision when I win the Lottery....gotta have dreams.
They are both amazing planes, but I'll always be partial to the Gulfstream
Just curious if you guys like flying there or would you rather not? I know you have to but is it something you like??
Is that spray paint to cut down on glare?
Anyone know whats going on with Shawn? Really miss seeing the videos. Hope all is well with him.
Hi Sean! WHich do you prefer flying? Global or Gulfstream G4?
I will always be partial to the Gulfstream, but the Global sure is fun too
SEE THE EARTH IS FLAT!!
What kind of headset is that captain wearing ?
Hey Sean. I know you don't post as much as you used to and hell that's great man cause that means your busy and that's what it's all about. I'm just a nobody, just a huge plane/gulfstream buff since I was a kid. Seeing some of these spoiled other pilots out there acting irresponsibly in the cockpit making videos makes me appreciate you even more. You do it right Sean you don't need me to tell you that of course.. its noticeable out here. Thank you for that.. safe flights to ya.. cheers
Did you fly all the way there from Florida?
Yes indeed...long flight!
Interesting to hear the American Kuwaiti Air Force pilot …. Didn’t realize that was a thing.
