  • This is the departure from Kuwait City International Airport in a Bombardier Global Express. While the sand and dust was quite thick, we still had a great view of the Persian Gulf. I hope you enjoy!

      I can understand US pilots having that problem, I have the same issue with the FAA ATC guys. What language do they speak?

    • @GreatDataVideos
      @GreatDataVideos 9 месяцев назад

      @@Swaggerlot Most U.S. air traffic controllers are good and speak very clearly. A few, not so good. The trouble I've had is the frequency congestion in areas like FXE where everyone has to speak pretty fast. I hope ACARS gets rolled out to more airports and the clearances can be seen on an iPad. That would cut down on congestion.

    Seeing that old Hawker on ramp taxi out just triggered a very old childhood memory for me: I had a die-cast Hawker-Siddeley 125 toy plane back in the 1970s about maybe 4" in wingspan or so. It was blue and white. That home I grew up in probably still has it buried in the back yard somewhere. 😆

I’m assuming it was a military dignitary visiting Naval Base Kitsap. We flew in his 172 from KPWT to KORS got some lunch and flew home.
