I think this is the best victory amp so far, utterly stunning tones and Mick that outro was probably the best I've ever heard you. Awesome amp and demo guys👏👏👏
Id still go Superkraken ... As Rabea demonstrated on his channel, it easily delivers great cleans or crunchy blues tones with thick rock and metal stuff in one package.
I waited and was not disappointed! For me Victory amps are the best amps for great value. I love my V40D and now i want VC35 for wet dry ! Great production as always guys! Love !
Beautiful! In every single way. Will be dreaming of a three amp rig now - this, a 6L6 V40, and a Sheriff. Damn! Martin Kidd - you just have it! What a bloke; what a brand! Beautiful!
After falling in love with the AC/Matchless tones in my Helix (long time Mesa fan) I've been looking at Vox inspired amps... THIS is the sound I've had in my head.
As far as I'm concerned, Victory is THE UK amp that I would spend my money on now (don't get me wrong, I love all things UK and amps that come from the Isles. It's just...there's a brand loyalty happening here on my end and Martin is a gentleman and a scholar)
Same here. I certainly concur with that statement. The intro of this video confirms they are the cream of the industry. And Martin is an extremely nice, non-egotistical man who so obvious only very intelligent.
I was going to say how much I liked the sound of Mick's strat thorugh this and I've never heard it sound so nice. But every guitar into it sounds incredible. Future classic on offer here I think.
Ive had this amp for about a year now. I like to run it with the mid boost on and the bass cut off for really robust lead tones. It gets really hairy when you through a lot of gain at it, so don't expect it to chug. But it compresses beautifully and really cuts. Definitely happy with it, especially considering the price compared to other "boutique" amps out there.
I'm so happy that Martin came up with this, it sounds terrific and nails that glassy kicking tone! If a preamp pedal format is in the works, I'll be the first to snap it up!
I absolutely love my Copper, i never thought that any amp makers would get awsome clean sounds and amazing dirty sounds, in the uk vox hand the clean and marshall the dirty, butthis truly delivers on both, i use with a mex standard tele and a marshall 1973 bass organ lead 2x12. Also sounds way bigger than a 35, butway smaller
These guys love fuzz. Martin seemed to be enjoying it too! Although the Broadcast does a great clean boost as well. Works so well with VC35 The Copper.
That was one of the best tones I’ve ever heard on a RUclips demo. Stunning and ferocious bite and sting from Rebea’s LP Custom. Looking forward to purchasing and playing both.
It’s interesting reading back through the comments at how many people have noted that certain pedals and guitars sound amazing through this demo. It just shows how the Copper takes pedals and guitars so well regardless of which you use!
Thank you Thank you for manufacturing amplifiers in England and not in China like Orange Amps but above all for having affordable prices for Amplifiers Made In UK Kiss From France
Gorgeous cleans and sexy leads, nice addition to the amps, I would enjoy a Kemper scan of this amp. Martin has such a joy about him of music and engineering. Thanks!
So I own the v40 deluxe combo and love it so much, but I would love to have a copper or kraken for a dual rig. The copper has so much presence and the kraken is just a monster
Fascinating, illuminating, and just plain enjoyable demo (sounded wonderful though my Grados)! Like others, I came here from the Andertons showcase video. I got the same impression from both, that the cleans are just glorious regardless of what guitar you plugged into. That changes appreciably with overdrive/distortion, though. In both videos the humbuckers resulted in (to my ears) a more "controlled", perhaps smooth sound, than the single coils which were "spittier". I take it this is what Mick was picking up as a sort of "fuzz" tone from the amp's overdrive, or what Martin was calling "gritty". I come away from both videos wondering if the amp can be dialled achieve that smoother overdrive for single-coil instruments, too. It wasn't immediately apparent, or rather seemed to suggest possibly not. So then the question becomes one of whether certain pedals would allow you to achieve that -- to which the answer is "probably", but would take some deep dives and time for trial-and-error testing! In any case, The Copper looks like a superb achievement, and I'll be hoping one comes to my neck of Scotland in the not-too-distant future! Kudos!
The EF86 tone stacks are a different flavor than the 12AX7 tube in V1 socket . Now we have a EF84 tube in V1 and sounds great actually . I wonder what other tone flavors there are using other receiver tubes ! I have used big Octal tubes in the Stromberg Carlson PA amp converted to guitar or microphone and is a wonderful blues harmonica amp with its deep tones , guitar tones are good but different because the highs the 12ax7 tubes have are not there but a more midrange tone is produced by octal receiver tubes.
Haven’t known which Victory would be right for me, as they’re a bit out of my price range for the deluxe editions, especially with needing a cabinet too. But, this one is making my fingers itch. It sounds great, and I know these amps take pedals well. Like to hear this in a Wet-Dry rig, with it used for time based stuff, and my Super-Lead for the Dry.
This is a fantastic video and helped me decide on a Copper over a Sheriff. BUT, it would be nice if the guitars weren't blocking the amp's controls for large parts of the video. I'd like to cop some of those settings myself.
Does this amp do everything? I'd say yes. I heard all of the Big 3 on this vid. Though the "f" sounds were a bit more brown face or tweedy to me, which ain't a bad thing
It's cool to see Martin smile when he hears the different sounds coming out of his amp.
That sounds badass. I have always loved the AC type amps. That growl is evident and so is the chime. Incredible
It's a delight to listen to Martin play and speak. Such a inspirational man
I want one of each Victory amp and then play them at the same time in some sort of super rig with a Strymon Volante and a Gibson ES-335.
@@stanislavmigra yeah they are great too in all tones 🎸🤘
I waited and was not disappointed! For me Victory amps are the best amps for great value. I love my V40D and now i want VC35 for wet dry !
Great production as always guys!
Love !
Thank you!
Now all we need is a v4 pedal version :)
Ta daaaa! :-)
This comment INDEED aged well
I did not know that I needed this in my life
Beautiful! In every single way. Will be dreaming of a three amp rig now - this, a 6L6 V40, and a Sheriff. Damn!

Oh man a dual rig with this and a v40 would be insane.

Another great great amp 💥🔥🎸 congrats Victory amps
Great amp and review fellas
Soooo glad Rory got a shout out often over looked as a great blues rock guitarist of the EL84 Vox sound
👍🎸🎸

Martin RIPS! and love the new VC35!!
Another great sounding amp guys!
I test drove one of the Victory Copper amps and they are very nice !!!
4:43 Mick casually pulling out a fender stratocaster out of his pocket*
Sounds killer and you guys did a great job. I'm not even a vox guy, but this sounds pretty dope. Kudos, Martin.
Oh man! When he plugs that Gretsch in. What an amp.
It’s interesting reading back through the comments at how many people have noted that certain pedals and guitars sound amazing through this demo. It just shows how the Copper takes pedals and guitars so well regardless of which you use!
Ahh my favorite tubes.... sounds beautiful! Ac to JTM and beyondddd. Brilliant!
When the afro starts bobbing you know the tones a knockin!! 🔥
Oh my, oh my ! I’m running an AC 30 with my Gretsch’s but ......... Victory and Gretsch have a history and this rig has me drooling!
Love to hear this through a 2x12 cab fitted with celestion blues.
Another awesome amplifier from Victory, bravo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That amp is an absolute winner! Martin Kidd is a wizard.
Man that sounds good. And Martin seems like such an awesome dude.
Thank you

It's such a glorious thing! 🙌🏻 Harmonic richness and overtones from heaven...or some such place. 🥰
Thanks Randy! Glad you love it! We’ve been knocked out by the response so far.
@@VictoryAmps Will there be a VC pre amp??
Been eyeing V40 for some time now and then this comes along... will have to re-think I guess, this one sounds huge!
Love when Martin turns into an owl @ @27:00
Definitely my next choice of amp. Stellar sound and design, good people and a story behind every product.
THNX , for the clean tones .
Great sounding amp, I want one! Some of the comments on here must have hearing damage, this amp sounds great.
Been wanting a vox for a long time. I don't anymore. I want this
That is one beautiful tone machine! So many sound options, bring on the chime.
Wonderful sounding amp... I want one. ;-)
Oh Rabea...monster player! amazing amp...did anyone else want to see Mick playing the les paul??
Aha! Mick did play the Lester but it didn’t male the edit. Maybe there’s an Instagram clip in there somewhere.... cheers!
Victory Amplifiers fingers crossed 🤞 cheers.
Well done lads, this amp is a winner!
Nice one guys - sounds killer. Video production is beautiful as always
Mick (edit and audio) and Simon (filming) say thank you!
I love el84s. Sounds great.
That tremolo at the end. Superb sound.
These Victory Amps are the best sounding on the planet.
Killer tone...LP with gritty clean was stellar. Blue and Tele were also great.
Wow!! Sounds amazing!!!
I want a Victory Amp so bad! I’m a clean player and I think this amp nails that clean tone I am searching for
Man those cleans!!! wow! I need one of these!
Bought one. Love it. Great cleans - great distortion. Just great !!
Is it quiet on clean or it has hum?
Alot of Gain(Fuzz) with alot of chime! Top amp
Mick and Rabea are already heroes of mine, but man, Martin Kidd can play!
With the pricepoint, I was thinking if it is just for british made product compared to Vox AC30. But no, this amp can do so much more, love it ❤️.
Gentlemen. This is magnificent. 😊♥️😊♥️
WOW! Way to go Martin!
Great sounding amp!
I will be buying one sounds cool
This is an incredibly beautiful amp
Gorgeous cleans and sexy leads, nice addition to the amps, I would enjoy a Kemper scan of this amp. Martin has such a joy about him of music and engineering. Thanks!
Sounds absolutely GORGEOUS! Needles to say I want one!
So I own the v40 deluxe combo and love it so much, but I would love to have a copper or kraken for a dual rig. The copper has so much presence and the kraken is just a monster
Christ this sounds good
Even listening to this on my mobile the sound is amazing..!!..:-)
Glorious!!!
I’m hearing Rory Gallagher. Sold my V40 as it was a bit dark but this could be a winner.
genuinely think this amp might be the holy grail of tone
Thanks for a great video, Gents! I am very excited about this amp. Seems to do exactly what I want, would be a great partner for Sheriff 44. :-)

this actually seems the best Victory mini head i heard until now...
I hope there will be a VC floor preamp!!!! That would be fantastic!
Great video, this is the amp sound I want!
I need it right now!!!!!

martins face is brilliant when he gets the humbuckers and kicks in that mid boost "yeh i know mate its ridiculously good" lol
awesome. wish i could afford one.
20:20 was amazing.
That Riff with the Les Paul was sick
I'm sold.
Love the way he had a fender strat in Hes pocket
Perfection Sir Perfection 👍👍🎶🎶🎸

sounds amazing mate
I use my ac30 hw for the cleans but this thing just sounds even better!
Loved it want one
I'm dying to hear a Rickenbacker through one of these
Bring on V4 'The Copper' Preamp Pedal!
Mike Munro yesss
A V4 Duchess version of this PLEASE!!!!!!!
Mick! Vc35 with drive pedals on TPS. Please please please!
Wow the tone here is AMAZING! Any plan to put this into a V4 pedal format? It would be instant purchase!
Victory is making some really interesting amps. This amp sounds great!
This as a 1x12 combo would be great!!
A Les Paul should come with each amp purchase. I'm not a huge LP fan but the LP and that amp are made for each other.
Does this amp do everything? I'd say yes. I heard all of the Big 3 on this vid. Though the "f" sounds were a bit more brown face or tweedy to me, which ain't a bad thing
what a great sounding amp! Will there be a combo version?
I love the whole pallet from clean to light drive. It would knock a few pedals from my board.
