The final fight between Grimmjow and Ichigo was one of the most memorable things of any anime I have ever watched. I thought about how hard Grimmjow had worked to get to where he was, and how he'd become corrupt in sight of his own power, thinking that he was not only above the laws Aizen put in place, but above everyone and everything in his path. It made me hate, feel sorry for, and respect Grimmjow all at the same time. Truly, he is one of the best anime villains of all time.
well... smooth animation, good action, the best music among the big 4... also a variety of characters that you can like, my personal favourite is the character Chad/Yasutora Sado... but I wholeheartedly recommend it...
If you like combat oriented animes then bleach is definitely for you. It doesn't always have the best character development or plot but they're good enough and the excellently animated fight scenes and creative character powers more than make up for it.
I really wished for the following characters to come back as ichigos partners: Grimjow Ulquiorra Stark Nel (adult) they would have made such amazing additions. Ulquiorra and Stark where never bad...just alone... and Grimjow is the Vegeta of this show :D

Bleach is an amazing battle anime. I am pretty sure that it is ranked number 2 in shonen manga behind One Piece. Basically, a boy who can see ghosts is attacked by a powerful spirit, and is saved by a shinigami (death god). In order for him to protect his family, he must become a shinigami himself, and now, as a very powerful warrior, he fights to protect his friends, family, and the spirits of the dearly departed, all while trying to continue a normal life including friends and school.
