The problem was Kubo kept making GODLY BROKEN OP villains, but wasn't able to kill off good guys. So he made the good guys just win every time (NOT ONE GOOD GUY DIED IN THE ARANCAR ARC) That's not good writing, there's no suspense when I know good guys won't DIE! (LeRoux should've beaten Byakuya, Ulquiorra second release beat Ichigo ten times over, Halibel flawlessed Hitsugaya, Barragan solos pretty much everyone, Soi Fon would be dead within a minute, Aizen would merc everyone and the moment Ichigo demonstrated he was physically stronger, Aizen would use his hypnosis and decapitate Ichigo in their 1v1).

Only if we get heavy rewrites to the earlier plots. And make the Bounts canon except their whole goal in attacking the Soul Society is to become strong enough to fight the Sternrichter. Imagine that forshadowing, Kadia just shouting at the remaining captains "Yamanoto! You failed to stop that monster once and he is getting close to returning. You know this and yet you all are so weak and refuse our help in fighting those Quincy bastards. So we are here to take the power we need. Unlike you I won't wait for his return"

Just not as clear as he made it sound
