After several collaborations with Flemish sculpture artist Johan Tahon, including the ‘controversial’ fire ritual 2 years ago which sculpture was also exposed at Graukunst 2020, Amenra now gets to play in Tahon’s church in Zwalm, Belgium, surrounded by his sculptures. In june they will release their new album ‘de Doorn’, and in this acoustic set Amenra will play some surprising songs in a unique setting.

Totally agree! The album version of this song gives me goosebumps every time... But this version is also fuc.kin brilliant. Just great, this band. I have ordered tickets for their gig in March 2025 in Belgium. Can't wait to see them for the very first time.

I wish that they'd use this style for some of their songs and then kick us in the face by going absolutely ballistic halfway through into an epic, heavy-as-fuck, extended, head-nodding outro. I wish for even more dynamics in Amenra's music.
