I think it's almost fun, watching genre names change music and grow. When i was a teen, stuff like "Non Somnia - End Of The World," was considered instrumental gothic rock. Back then though, if it was morose and had violin with piano, or it was depressive at all really, people just slapped "Gothic" on it and walked away. Post-Rock is a much more fitting genre title for these types of artists, like minded, and similarly toned.
