Mike Campbell is so great at everything he does. Great slide guitar. My favorite band ever. Such a devastating loss of a sincerely decent human being who had the most incredible talent as a musician, singer/songwriter, the beautiful TP.

My impression of Tom and the boys was that they loved playing together more than anything in the world. They could probably get together and do this for hours.
My Little Red Rooster, a simple song sang and played like only Tom & The Heartbreakers. Miss you all - thank you for years of amazing talent and heartfelt music. I'm thinking Baby Please Don't Go. r.i.p Tom Howie George. You had a great ride. Thank you!!!
Shout out to Benmont Tench. He doesn't get the accolades he deserves. He's a real pianist, as opposed to someone who just bangs out chords.

I brought my copy of "The Rolling Stones, Now!" to school in the spring of 1965, and when they heard Brian Jones' slide guitar on "Little Red Rooster" my 8th grade classmates told me my record must be warped.

I really enjoyed Petty’s version of this song immensely, I never knew he sang it. I would also highly recommend Jim Morrison’s take on little red rooster, it’s a real barn burner. Let me know what you think of how version.
but I believe the version of ZZ Top from 1973 is the most sleaziest, sexiest of all time. Wow!

gefällt mir, wenn der Gesang auch eher etwas schmierig wirkt. Dafür überrascht diese bluesige Version instrumental umso mehr.
