How to fix/replace sidestand switch Honda Shadow 600 vlx (bypass - join green and green/white wires)

Hiya!
Been fixing little issues with my shadow. Prolly last shadow vid for now. My sidestand switch didn't work, so i searched for new one. I was stunned when i saw price for oem one! So the search for an alternative begun...
Turns out honda deauville's switch is the same, i just had to change cables between them. Bought used one dirt cheap! I couldn't find shadow used one.
Just unplug the connector next to a switch and plug in the old cable and you're good to go!
Without a working switch motorcycle will turn off when in gear!
Or just throw this junk away and simply bypass it by joining green and green/white wires together.
I made myself such bypass using leftover connector from deauville's switch cable, just in case!
