    I am so excited about all the work that you do and about learning more! I am a physiotherapist and I really want to use your principles in my practice, especially for those people who are just not getting better & getting effective pain relief. I've done a lot of diaphragmatic breathing training but I now see that there is so much more I can incorporate. I am really super excited to learn more from you. Thank you for sharing!!

    Thank you for discussing about the 71yr old with degenerative disc disorder. I am 68 yr with the same issue at L3 to S1. I can feel comfortable using the towel for now with diaphragmatic breathing through the sampler programs since june 2024. I was concern at first if I was going the have more back pain but not so. Thank you do much!

    Really good conversation... So much to learn. 90% of our energy comes from breath (not food or water). Just starting to learn about fascia and deepening my learning journey. Thanks for all your work in this area, Deanna.

    Great info to support healing. Do you have an episode about surgery and how Block Therapy can improve recovery???

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  Год назад +4

      Hi, we do have a video on scar tissue, which mentions scar tissue from surgery - this is here:
      ruclips.net/video/UQqBgYONK-o/видео.html
      For recovery from surgery specifically, I believe you would enjoy this discussion with Lisa Songer-Burke. While this was surgery related to a devastating injury, the principles that they discuss still applies.

      I hope this helps!

    This was great, really resonated, the Iyengar yoga story in particular. Deeana you have so much experience in so many areas that really comes through and makes so much sense. Do you have videos on the case studies you talked about (the six year old with scoliosis and the lady in her 70's who has rebuit her body)? The basic message I'm taking from this, whatever your issue is, is breathe, release, re-align then strengthen to consolidate your new-found correct posture! I'm starting today! Thank you.

      Yes, here is the commentary on the boy with scoliosis:

      I believe the lady that you are referring to is the one discussed in this video:

      I hope this helps!

      Hi Tammy! The sternum area is a typical cause site for upper back pain. If you are a blocker already, focus on the sternum position.
      I just checked our RUclips channel and we have a video that describes this very thing.
      Give this a watch!

    So I’m 71 and have worked on my scoliosis with yoga since my thirties, all I’m doing is maintaining and so far so good but collapsing is beginning to. Do you have a specific program for scoliosis? I just joined your scene and purchased the blocks… thanks so much. You are so smart.

    My son had back surgery at 26. He’s 40 now and has been in chronic pain ever since the surgery. Complete with rods and screws. Is this something he could do to help get his whole body in realignment? He has knee pain and hip pain because of his back.

    OMG, I've been doing this for a couple days now literally, with a rolled up towel. l.I can feel something happening.I've got spinal stenosis and severe arthritis of both hips. I can't stand straight up and therefore can hardly walk. I can feel things happening tho.

      Hi there! I will suggest demos to Deanna, however because the podcasts are audio only in some cases that might be why it's not done. The breath should always be the diaphragmatic breath.

    Yes...as the day goes on I feel pushed down and I cannot hold myself straight and my head goes more and more forward. Now the bottom of my feet burn and hurt.. How does one start to fix oneself.

      Hi! Block Therapy will be wonderful to begin bringing yourself back into alignment. Do you have the Sampler Program? The whole Sampler Program will be a great start for you, but especially the positions in the calves which will help your feet and bring things more centered up the chain. Here is the link to this:

    The colon attaches to the spine

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  10 месяцев назад +2

      No the colon doesn't attach to the spine, but adhesions can affect the colon causing it to stick in places and pull on structures around it.
