Really enjoying your Juno DS series!! I’ve decided to pick up a DS over the MX. question- when making patterns/loops is it possible to “bounce” multiple patterns after you create them into one pad to free up the others? If so could you share how to do that? Thanks!!

Great and impressive job Exalter! and still a Merry Christmas for you and much creativity and fun in making music. This christmas I spend a lot of time with my DS. Downloaded all the AXIAL files and tried them. I expecially like EXP2 because I like The Doors music. Imported a sample so I can play it with my keybed. And what I liked most; I downloaded a lot of backingtrack from the web and put them on a stick. And now I can jam and play along backingtracks and music that I like. It wasn't all that hard to figure it out, but then again I took the time for it which my corona christmas offered me :). I also downloaded the tonemanager and the library software. After searching the web is is possible to create your own EXP packages which for instance companies like Sweetwater do and install them in the EXP ram. Also took notice that there is new firmware version 2.10 which doubles the amount of user memory for your own user samples to play. Well, I can say that I am still happy with my DS and feel more comfortable now that I know somewhat better what I can do with it. Looking forward to your video's and hopefully some DS tutorials. All the best, Roland.

Nice! I actually got the Coronavirus so I have been feeling really under the weather. I did try the tone manager software and I got it to work, but I don't feel like I understand it well enough at the moment to make a video. Maybe when I feel better I can try again. Hope you had a good Christmas!

@@Exalter Hope you will recover soon Exalter. You are still young so hopefully you will come through this is a an ok way. I just installed tone manager also, but it was for me too complicated at this moment and I have still so many other things to figure out on this keyboard. First thing I want to do is get the latest firmware version 2.11 on it. It is now on 2.00. But Roland.support never made a video on this. What is your version? and did you made an update to your DS already? Did you know that your usermemory for your own USER samples will be doubled with 2.11?
I am a bit scared that the electricity could go down when I am flashing my DS and brick the thing. So I have a few old NIMh cells here lying around. These are the cells that can be put into the DS (No 1,5Volt batteries!!!! otherwise the voltage will be too high/check your manual). So when I am using my adapter and the NiMh cells are installed and the electricity should come down, the old NiMh cells are able to continue the flashing succesfully and I will feel safe to start this flash. I like doing things this way, haha :) Well, take care Exalter and hope you are well soon!

If you can manage it, I like to see you make I feel love in a long version by Georgio Moroder sung by Donna Summer. It's a great song and there is a ton of possibilities to jam along with that! Even if you can only create the bass line, that would be great.
Another remake I would love to see you do is Tony's Theme from the movie Scarface. I can't get enough of that beatifull and impressive arrangement.

I will see what I can do although, I was thinking of maybe trying to do a pop song first...
