Good to hear about Nash. I will give it a try for sure. The food at BPB is pretty bland indeed and Burger King is probably one of the worst fast food outlets from my experience. Shame. Don't understand why it's so hard to make a decent burger and serve similar decent ones throughout the park. Great Vlog guys, enjoyed watching that. Really good to hear about the Grand National and I enjoyed the footage. Gutted that BPB have increased the height restriction as my son can no longer go it. Mad that kids can go on Icon before the national now. On your opinion regarding BPL having the best line up of coasters.... It is a difficult one as the coasters do lack themeing compared to other parks, however BPB does certainly has the ecliptic mix of coasters and you cannot beat the history of the park with the Arrow coasters and the woodies. Icon clearly one of the best coasters in the country. There is certainly a strong case for best line up. For those with kids that are 1.32m tall but not 1.4m it is certainly the clear winner as you can go on all the rides.
Thanks Matthew. I’ve honestly no idea why the height restriction has been increased, I don’t see it being manufacturer related so I’m unsure. I think BPB’s coasters are great without theming, they’d be good anywhere.

Went to Pleasure Beach for the first time Wednesday, Grand National is a absolute beast, was lucky to get 2 rides, both on the back seat, best coaster in the park hands down, even better than Enzo IMO
I would give you a review on the food in Coasters However after being directed to a table on the last late night riding event in October & being ignored for 15 minutes I walked out & headed for my default coffee shop under the Flying machines. Limited choice ,but decent quality of fair prices ,great coffee & good service 👍 🙂
@@yourexperienceguide I always have a decent breakfast before visiting any theme park ,a light meal whilst in there & main meal after I've left . I exception would be if the park is open longer hours on the day of the visit . 6 hours at say AT really doesn't warrant spending up to an hour lunch break , losing ride time - especially at their new prices ! 😳
Great vid mate everyones gunna try Enzo once and probably only once it's new and everyones gunna want to say they've been on it. Reverse seats on big one next grand national love it mate 👍 👌
Back in the day BPB used to have some amazing food places like the magnolia cafe (next to gohst train) and the cotton mill restaurant and bar (now pizza kitchen) i used to love those places, real sit down places with great theming and food and drink for all the family. I do t usually eat much when in visit the park other than a nice procecco, oysters and seafood at both seafood bars on park, also burger king is king. Great review, nice to see a busy day

Hi, Great vlog as per usual but just have a question. Going to pleasure beach in early July as the theme parks here in Scotland are not quite up to par with yours In England 😂 Thought you might be an expert on this but since it is a one day out would you recommended we get 2 vip fast passes? We do not go often and thought it might change the experience of the day. last time we went was in 2019 which feels ages ago so would like to here your thoughts Thanks :) (by the way it would be a Saturday so it might effect your choices since it is a summer and a Saturday so would expect it to be chaotic) also how fast do speedy passes sell out in advance before a day as unsure how much in advance we would book it for. Thanks again
Hey there, thanks for watching and commenting ☺️ I would say getting a speedy pass on a busy day in July will be worth it, you will maximise your time at the park and not miss out on anything you want to do (subject to ride availability of course) They usually always sell out speedy passes for July and August.
@@yourexperienceguide Thank you so much for your response. Would you say it is OK if I book a month from now and speedy pass should be avaliable? I know this might be something you can't answer but just need to see if I need to rush to book it or if I can wait a bit cause not got the money right now. Just unsure how fast speedy passes sell out to a response so would be great
I think they should intergrate nfc scanners for rides as an alternative to scanning a QR code. i usually add my e-ticket to Google pay so this would be very convenient.
@@yourexperienceguide from a guest perspective yes, but if bpb was smart about it they could build a model of how guests interact with teir park. I think this is what they were aiming for with the e-ticket but as you say it is a faff.
I agree what you said about food I always have a weather spoons breakfast and have a little snack at pleasure beach I'm riding Enso on Tuesday too is it better with two people or 1 person if you want a good spin
If every person in the park needs a wristband why is there a scanner on the ride entry points? I was there last month and couldn’t work out why they are still there since they have done away with the park pass.
The food has gone downhill for a few years now! Nick (Amanda's brother) was once in charge of catering I dont know if he still is but it was great then! Really good quality and well priced..
It's good to see the Grand National is back to being a good ride again. Good to see people doing Enso, still think it will have an initial boost and then decrease in popularity (might have a good season this year and then see a dip next season), hope I'm wrong. On the food, when I last went i left the park to go to Costa, the time before I went to pizza hut (a ripoff unless you do buffet, though that's not a good idea when going on rides), both just outside the park, Spoons isn't far away either, I usually go afterwards, prices are similar to inside the park but quality it definitely better (burger and chips especially).
That burger looked in a sorry state. Shame its still so slow getting food. On a busy day its an absolute nightmare. Awesome on the Nash was being great and back to how it was running in the 90s. Regarding RMC.. while the Nash might be one of the best coasters in the coasters in the UK if it was to be RMCd it would be the best coaster in the UK by a country mile.
It wasn’t a great burger at all. RMC are great but BPB need to leave the woodies as traditional as they can, the Grand National would not be the same as a hybrid coaster
Felt sorry for the icon staff over the weekend as speedy pass and main que merge was very confusing however they took the criticism well and managed both ques well on my next ride. Sorry I hate to moan ride ops! Bppb need to do better look at towers fast track for example also 3 trains Saturday
Enso is only one rider every two trains and it seems to be naturally busier towards the start of the day. Not many are riding as a pair and because of that it's keeping a queue. There are periods where it's very quiet and sometimes nobody on for a while so I don't think what you said about it is wrong. No humble pie.
@@yourexperienceguide That's great, maybe picking up, but did go round empty for periods on both Thursday and Friday. Few people highlighted that. Reduce it to tenner and I can see it taking off properly.
Beach burger are they still touching the burgers and hot dogs with the same gloves that had been touching the cash in the till as I reported that to the management before
Brilliant as always Scott! I really hope the team at BPB watch your invaluable content and act on what you have highlighted regarding the food situation! Surly someone at team BPB must be embarrassed to see this! If this is the experience you have, everyone is having the same! No person in their right mind could find this acceptable! They really need to up their game, or allow picnics! I’d rather folk have something decent to eat even if that means they bring their own food into the park and spend the day having fun and leaving with great, happy memories rather than leaving hungry, out of pocket but most of all, a bitter taste in their mouth forking out hard earned money for *beep* Had I been their, I would of got yours and Marks “food” and it would of gone back to the counter faster than it took to come out of the bin, sorry, “kitchen”.
Hey Sam, thank you so much for the feedback 😊 Honestly, the food at BPB can be appalling at times and Friday was a big example of this. I would love to support everything BPB do, including catering but serious improvements need to be made.
On the food side lads... You goto the pleasure beech for rides... There's a million places to eat in Blackpool... Burger King is OK... Do what we do.. Go in spoons for an hour half way through the day...
@@yourexperienceguide yeah mate I understand.. I still think putting a spoons type of place in there would help.. Limited choice ,but decent quality of fair prices ,great coffee & good service 👍 🙂
Unfortunately this has carried on into 2022, people waited nearly an hour for food there in February
I’m hoping none of the other coasters have changes made to their back rows
Back in the day BPB used to have some amazing food places like the magnolia cafe (next to gohst train) and the cotton mill restaurant and bar (now pizza kitchen) i used to love those places, real sit down places with great theming and food and drink for all the family. I do t usually eat much when in visit the park other than a nice procecco, oysters and seafood at both seafood bars on park, also burger king is king. Great review, nice to see a busy day
The food has definitely gone downhill a lot
@@yourexperienceguide i guess it just depends what you like also 😃
@@HolyFreakinDragonSlayer Definitely 😀
Is big Mike on the sick again... Sack him Scott... Can't understand Marks hate for red force... It's fun and a great laugh if a few of guys having a spinning compo... Still a great vid mate..
Hey Paul, he was watching Alty again ⚽️ Mike will be back on with us in a few weeks now I think
@@yourexperienceguide prioritys hey Scott.... Bloody Alty. I wouldn't watch them if they was playing in my garden. Lol...
@@manchester1972 Same to be honest, Sunday League Football but with a gate price. To be fair, Mike's brother got married yesterday so it is understandable why he didn't come to BPB.
Hey there, thanks for watching and commenting ☺️ I would say getting a speedy pass on a busy day in July will be worth it, you will maximise your time at the park and not miss out on anything you want to do (subject to ride availability of course)
They usually always sell out speedy passes for July and August.
I don’t see any benefit to the e-ticket scanning, just creates faff and encourages people to have their phones handy
@@yourexperienceguide from a guest perspective yes, but if bpb was smart about it they could build a model of how guests interact with teir park. I think this is what they were aiming for with the e-ticket but as you say it is a faff.
Agree best coaster line-up in the UK. Wish they could tear Infusion down though.
Thank you for watching and commenting
I agree what you said about food I always have a weather spoons breakfast and have a little snack at pleasure beach I'm riding Enso on Tuesday too is it better with two people or 1 person if you want a good spin
Spoons brekkie never disappoints. Enso is better as a solo rider.
Me too, you just know the food in BPB is going to leave you feeling mugged.
I think blackpool is amazing but your right about the food they need some where you can sit and have a good meal
The food offering could be much better
If every person in the park needs a wristband why is there a scanner on the ride entry points? I was there last month and couldn’t work out why they are still there since they have done away with the park pass.
Data collection
I got a ridiculous amount of airtime on the nash this saturday!
It was so good all weekend 😁
I WAS THERE WHEN U WAS REC ON THE TRAIN RIDE OR SOMETHING I SHOUTED
Thanks for watching and commenting
How does Icon work better on 2 trains? Is that because BPB are slow at loading or just from a math point?
For Enso it means those who’ve paid extra don’t wait as long
The food has gone downhill for a few years now! Nick (Amanda's brother) was once in charge of catering I dont know if he still is but it was great then! Really good quality and well priced..
I don't think Nick has had any involvement with it for a very long time
@@yourexperienceguide Does explain a lot then!
We highly recommend the chippy called Bentley’s, 5 minutes from BPB and absolutely fantastic food
The situation with the ICON queue on Saturday was a bad one, I felt so sorry for the staff. It’s something we mention a lot in our Saturday vlog
Enso is only one rider every two trains and it seems to be naturally busier towards the start of the day. Not many are riding as a pair and because of that it's keeping a queue. There are periods where it's very quiet and sometimes nobody on for a while so I don't think what you said about it is wrong. No humble pie.
I didn’t see Enso go empty once yesterday (10-10 day)
@@yourexperienceguide That's great, maybe picking up, but did go round empty for periods on both Thursday and Friday. Few people highlighted that. Reduce it to tenner and I can see it taking off properly.
Could be my favourite woodie in the country
Hopefully you'll enjoy it when you next go on it
Any info when Valhalla will reopen?
Soon as there's info we'll share it
I was there Friday as well
Hope you had a good day
Beach burger are they still touching the burgers and hot dogs with the same gloves that had been touching the cash in the till as I reported that to the management before
I hadn’t noticed that to be honest
Brilliant as always Scott!
I really hope the team at BPB watch your invaluable content and act on what you have highlighted regarding the food situation!
Surly someone at team BPB must be embarrassed to see this! If this is the experience you have, everyone is having the same! No person in their right mind could find this acceptable!
They really need to up their game, or allow picnics!
I’d rather folk have something decent to eat even if that means they bring their own food into the park and spend the day having fun and leaving with great, happy memories rather than leaving hungry, out of pocket but most of all, a bitter taste in their mouth forking out hard earned money for *beep*
Had I been their, I would of got yours and Marks “food” and it would of gone back to the counter faster than it took to come out of the bin, sorry, “kitchen”.
Hey Sam, thank you so much for the feedback 😊
Honestly, the food at BPB can be appalling at times and Friday was a big example of this. I would love to support everything BPB do, including catering but serious improvements need to be made.
Remember rib shack near toilets side of love tunnel them burgers wa ace in late 90s
I do
It seems it was a Good Friday
Sure was
On the food side lads... You goto the pleasure beech for rides... There's a million places to eat in Blackpool... Burger King is OK... Do what we do.. Go in spoons for an hour half way through the day...
Of course, but the food offering needs to be better to boost their secondary spend
@@yourexperienceguide yeah mate I understand.. I still think putting a spoons type of place in there would help.. I like a couple of pints when in pleasure beach but I must admit the beer is awful aswell. Lol... But you know like yourself I love the place... Bloody just added up last year me and my Mrs visited 12 Times, £80 each time. I didn't know you could get annual passes. Schoolboy error....
@@manchester1972 A spoons type establishment would be a huge step in the right direction. Have you got passes this year?
@@yourexperienceguide yes mate. Lol.. Not made the same mistake... I was going to go today but been called into work as an emergency so gutted..

Nash is running like a dream, and as you say take you right back to 90s ... Dipper still my favorite but that's because it was my first ever Coaster 37 seasons ago! I have always found the best burger on park are the ones outside Avalanche 🎢 👍🏻
