The first vlog was still way, way, way above the standards of pretty much all other theme park vloggers. The fact that you’ve done another and improved it just goes to show how incredibly dedicated to this you are and how much effort you put in. Thank you so much for what you do.
Don’t beat yourself up too much Scott - you’re allowed to enjoy yourself while there too so don’t worry about your vlogs - I personally am just really glad to be watching new vlogs again. Very intrigued to see new stuff in River Caves - and that garlic bread looked amazing (even with a bit of PJ and Duncan playing in the background!).
Don't worry about the first blog being short - it was still enjoyable to watch, and you enjoyed the day. This one has been informative and fun to watch.
Don't be too hard on yourselves over the vlog, you had a lot to cover in a short video. Good to see Mike in the vlog, good that you are addressing the worry of every bigger guy when they go to a theme park. The last time I was on the big one that I got the feeling that I was more out of the ride than in it so it didn't fill me with confidence. But thanks again for another extreamly interesting and informative show guys

Lovely to see Mike again too and to hear you talk so candidly about the seats and restraints. Love you guys. Can’t wait until the warmer weather and to see Mike’s colourful shirts 👍
I agree with you saying about taking the Pleasure Beach, and indeed, having fun for granted. The lockdown has made a lot of us take stock and evaluate what is really important. So happy to be back out again and hope the videos from yourselves keep coming ☺️
Great video. I really appreciate the extra time spent describing the challenges a big guy might encounter with the restraints on various rides. This is a difficult subject to bring up, and you guys handled it just right. Special thanks to Mike for the personal insights. Well done, guys!
Find it really useful knowing what restraints are like and what difficulty bigger people may face with these rides, so thanks for this! Hopefully see more like this video from you guys 👍🏻👍🏻

Well done Mike! Not the easiest thing to talk about and being big myself I panic about restraints. Such a brilliant vlog guys! Hope you had a good day cant wait to get there in August!
Possibly one of the best video's you've done. Some very useful info. Couldn't they add a max waist/weight limit to the height restrictions board on these rides? If nothing else it would end the walk of embarrassment. Once again a great video, I hope BPB appreciate the good you have done for them through this bloody pandemic!
Great video guys, credit to Mike for his honesty and top tips. Would love to see more of this type of content, maybe some more top tips for beating queues or the best way to maximise your day given the new COVID social distancing, what and when to avoid etc. Any healthy snack options In The park? Thanks John, I think the plan with BPB vlogs is to make them focused on something different each time and not just a repetitive commentary on doing the same rides each time
Got to love Mike for his honesty. I've always struggled with shoulder restraints. Last ride I squeezed on was 13. Glad you take bad comments on the chin and don't hide them like most vloggers. Good work mike and scott😁👍

I haven’t read through other people’s comments yet, but I love this Vlog! As a person with an ever changing waistline it’s good to know which rides might be a bit of a squeeze! The Pleasure Beach has always been a great day out. Thanks guys.
Probably the best review of a theme park I've ever seen, I'm a fairly regular visitor to the park but now at the age of 64 am fairly restricted on what I can and cannot ride. I'm off to the park today with my 22 year old lad and really looking forward to a fun day out, your info has been great and so informative.
Excellent video and send my thanks to Mike. Extremely informative and will help a larger bodied man (me) feel more confident getting on these rides and avoiding embarrassing situations.
fantastic as always guys. Really nice to see Mike’s charming face again too. My 12 year old daughter has actually decided to come along that day which will be a fun experience. Hopefully see you guys on park again soon. 💛
So many people skirt around the issue of size and being unable to get on certain rides so it’s refreshing to see you discuss it! Would be good if you could do one about your experiences at other parks as well!
I was very pleasantly surprised at how smooth the new track was, just goes to show that just changing the profile even slightly makes a huge difference. I couldn't really tell last year's re-track was even there if I'm being honest. Fingers crossed for the main turnaround to be done next, and that jolt at the top of the third hill (you probably know which one I mean).
@@yourexperienceguide Not sure they really need doing on smoothness grounds though, that section isn't particularly rough imo. Possibly just the valley going under Big Dipper before the MCBR could be done but that's about it.
Great vlog again just to add something to your restraints info I'm 6ft 3 and I manage to get on infusion fine last season didn't go on it today while I was at the park but manage to ride it when I do

I love watching these; my Grandad had holiday apartments down Withnell Rd so I’d visit every year but haven’t done since he passed away. Thanks to your first vlog of the season, I’ve been able to order a brick to have him forever in the park! Did you guys ever visit the circus in the park when Norman Barrett was about? I’d love to know! Also, is Noah’s Ark still running (the legend that is!) or is it now only for show when you enter the park? Keep up the great work. I hope to visit on the next year as I haven’t been up since 2006!
Thank you for watching and commenting, love that you’ve got a brick, I’ll be sure to update everyone when the next set of bricks go up. I didn’t see the circus sadly and the Ark is purely for show these days.
You can tell that cheesy garlic bread was good by the speed you eat it Bicko 😀 Interesting to hear Icon was on 3 trains i thought the scanning of the QR Codes & extra seat belt may of put paid to that. (I'd be interested to hear yours & Mikes thoughts on the scanning on entry system and how you think its gone so far, maybe on a video?) Was at BPB on Saturday if fact I think I seen a few of you having a beer by the Grand National whilst in the queue. Can't they just make seatbelts longer on some ride cars? People are a bit larger nowadays and that shouldn't stop them riding. Got 2 days in Alton Towers booked for the summer, not been there in a while either. Restraint video for Alton would be brilliant too as it's not covered at all really in other videos I've seen. Thank you for your honesty! I’m only 4ft 12 but I have a bit of a tummy and thighs and some can be a bit tight, I tend to get bruised around the top of my thighs
Been to this park almost every year of my life until covid hit. I am icon deprived! Hopefully I'll be going some day next week when all this rain and thunder has passed; appreciate the inclusion of bigger people on rides eventhough I have much extra space when getting on rides hahaha. Still, when I'm sat next to my brother who isn't big belly wise, he is extremely tall and takes up much space especially on the big one! hahahaha! Feel bad for him on infusion because his head is much further up compared to the head pads which is sad :( Great vlog as always!!!
Hey Scott, have you ever mentioned or has it ever been mentioned to BPB on the big one in regards to using the extenders for seat belts like they do on aircrafts?
Nice vid. 100% agree with not taking it for granted after this pandemic! I did see you today but you were eating with your family so decided not to come over. Hope you had a good time.
You guys are awesome and your last video was really good and you shouldn’t worry at all cuz you haven’t been on the rides and stuff and you clearly had a good day and this video was really good thank you as I’m quite a big girl too
Nice update guys and always great to see Mike! What bit of the PMBO do you think the park will do next? Also any chance you could do a video on the Chinese Puzzle Maze? I only found out about it recently and I've never even noticed it before.
Being tall and a hecking chonk I find I really struggle with the B&M restraints at Alton towers as they just wont go down past my chest. When I got to BPB in late 2019 I got on everything I wanted to but only just fit Icon and didn’t try infusion. Hopefully next time I get up I’ll have lost a bit of weight so I can still fit Icon!
Hey Scott, how are you and your family doing, hope you didn't catch covid like I did in September last year with pneumonia ontop, but I'm also not long out of hospital after having pneumonia for the 6th time, I got out of hospital on the 1st of April, so I probably won't be down to Blackpool this year x Ps/ why has icon been fitted with seat belts?
I enjoyed your opening day vlog, your excitement and enjoyment came across and this video more than made up for any gaps there might have been, looks like you had a great day.
I visited the park last February and couldn't get on the 'normal' seats on icon and was moved to the back. I also got nowhere near fitting on infusion. I am 6ft 1 with a 38 waist. I am 'big' for sure. I had no problems with the big one or the Big Dipper but had one look at the grand National and bottled even trying to go on it. This was a bit of a wake up call for me and I started to exercise a bit more. I lost weight and managed to get on the normal seats on icon when I went again with no issues at all when I went again in September last year. I went yesterday and had a score to settle with the grand National. I managed to get on with no issues. I am not too bothered about infusion. One thing I did notice in Blackpool yesterday especially at the pleasure beach was how busy it was and there was no social distancing going on at all. Especially in the big one queue. I know the staff can't do that much, but I suspect they were at full capacity yesterday and perhaps went over a bit. The standard of the service at the food outlet we used (opposite Alice in wonderland) was shocking. I love BPB and hate to criticise, but it was what I saw. I will go again later in the year, maybe during the week when the schools are in.
On Sunday BPB weren’t even at 50% of their capacity but the QR code scanning at the rides is causing delays with ride operations so the queues are longer than they’d normally be.
Great videos as always guys, seat reviews really good, have some issues on a few myself rugby shoulders and coaster restraints don't mix but love them still, worst ever seat restraints I've found was Collosus at Thorpe Park. What's your worst coaster to get on ?? Keep it up and cant wait for your next vlog 👍🎢
Awesome video as ever guys. Love the pleasure beach can’t wait to get back in May. What do you guys reckon to the rumours that nick land might be rethemed soon? Not sure what to make of it myself.
great video guys there only one ride in the uk i struggle with is the eagles claw at lightwater valley and i am only 15 stone my girlfriend has to jump on the restraint to get me in lol
I go in about 3 weeks were going on a Saturday I haven’t been for years so really looking forward to it am going with my boyfriend and some of my mates my boyfriend hates rides but am gonna be dragging him on 😂😂cuz I love them 😂😂and this video was really helpful as am skinny so this was really helpful thankyou x
I’m a size 24-26 I’m really worried about going to the pleasure beach this month on fitting into the rides. Would you say the rides are reasonably generous?
The delight in Mikes Face when he got on ICON was the same as me fitting on Galactica and Maelstrom If your really tall against Shoulder restraints try slouching a little to avoid the shoulders blocking the restraint from lowering Try slouching a little on infusion if your shoulders are the problem
The rides that have restraints that come down from the front, they have to lock by clicking, what if my belly is too big? How do i know before getting on? Would be embarrassing otherwise
What are the restraints like for having phones in pants/shorts pockets? As long as the pockets have zips so the phone can’t fall out would there be an issue?
@@yourexperienceguide thanks for the reply, is there issues with restraints on any of the rides coming down and potentially breaking a phone in your pocket from the restraint being too tight?
Great video guys and some really useful information! Looking forward to getting back to the park.

Hopefully I'll be going some day next week when all this rain and thunder has passed; appreciate the inclusion of bigger people on rides eventhough I have much extra space when getting on rides hahaha. Still, when I'm sat next to my brother who isn't big belly wise, he is extremely tall and takes up much space especially on the big one! hahahaha! Feel bad for him on infusion because his head is much further up compared to the head pads which is sad :(
Great vlog as always!!!
Thank you!
I bumped into you on the big one was in the same cart behind you exactly
Hope you had a great day
Hey Scott, have you ever mentioned or has it ever been mentioned to BPB on the big one in regards to using the extenders for seat belts like they do on aircrafts?
Hi, I don’t think it can be done
I’m going Monday for the first time so glad to find this as I was a bit worried about my size
We hope it was helpful
Nice vid. 100% agree with not taking it for granted after this pandemic! I did see you today but you were eating with your family so decided not to come over. Hope you had a good time.
Thanks Liam hope you had a good day
Hope they have plenty of stock of those hoodies mike wearing as not there until next month and its top of my to buy list
They have plenty
Hope your boy has a wonderful birthday 🎂
He did thank you 😊
You guys are awesome and your last video was really good and you shouldn’t worry at all cuz you haven’t been on the rides and stuff and you clearly had a good day and this video was really good thank you as I’m quite a big girl too
Thank you 😊
Nice update guys and always great to see Mike! What bit of the PMBO do you think the park will do next?
Also any chance you could do a video on the Chinese Puzzle Maze? I only found out about it recently and I've never even noticed it before.
We’ll do a walkthrough video of it at some point 😀
Being tall and a hecking chonk I find I really struggle with the B&M restraints at Alton towers as they just wont go down past my chest. When I got to BPB in late 2019 I got on everything I wanted to but only just fit Icon and didn’t try infusion. Hopefully next time I get up I’ll have lost a bit of weight so I can still fit Icon!
Hi Dave, can relate about the B&M restraints at times, hope you have a great next visit to BPB. Thank you for watching and commenting ☺️
Hey Scott, how are you and your family doing, hope you didn't catch covid like I did in September last year with pneumonia ontop, but I'm also not long out of hospital after having pneumonia for the 6th time, I got out of hospital on the 1st of April, so I probably won't be down to Blackpool this year x
Ps/ why has icon been fitted with seat belts?
Hi, I hope you’re feeling ok now? Mack Rides who manufactured Icon provided the restraints at no cost and required BPB to make the change over.
Don't be to hard on yourself Scott you are really good at what you do mate 👍🎢👍🎢
Thank you
Your amazing the vlog was fabulous
Glad you enjoyed it
Mike is a legend!!
Agreed 😆
I enjoyed your opening day vlog, your excitement and enjoyment came across and this video more than made up for any gaps there might have been, looks like you had a great day.
Thank you for watching and commenting ☺️
Do you mind me asking what camera you use please? The quality of the footage is superb.
Thank you! I’m now using a Sony A6400
Brilliant guys really enjoyed that
Thank you 😀
I visited the park last February and couldn't get on the 'normal' seats on icon and was moved to the back.
Thank you ☺️ I haven’t bothered trying to get on Colossus at TP since 2012, far too uncomfortable.
Awesome video as ever guys. Love the pleasure beach can’t wait to get back in May. What do you guys reckon to the rumours that nick land might be rethemed soon? Not sure what to make of it myself.
I think it’ll be true but I’ve not heard anything official
You should make a separate video/maybe even a series for mike's restraint tips 🙂
I think it'll be something we add into a lot of the vlogs this year
Hello again Scott and Mike
Can I ask why have Blackpool pleasure Beach put seat belts on icon ride 🤔
Manufacturer made the change
Hi PBE, love your vids, especially this. Do you have any more news on Valhalla?
Hi, thank you, re-opens 2022
Great info guys !! Found it really helpful being a bigger guy! Cheers !
Brill, thank you for watching and commenting 😀

Can’t wait for my birthday in June to be back
Have a great time

Thanks for the feedback Abbi
Great information guys 👍
Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️
great video guys there only one ride in the uk i struggle with is the eagles claw at lightwater valley and i am only 15 stone my girlfriend has to jump on the restraint to get me in lol
Hi Leon, I couldn’t get on that in 2013 and I was 14 stone then
@@yourexperienceguide is this scott or mike replying ? and yeah it not a very forgiving ride is it
@@leonhutchinson8264 Scott, it’s my account
I go in about 3 weeks were going on a Saturday I haven’t been for years so really looking forward to it am going with my boyfriend and some of my mates my boyfriend hates rides but am gonna be dragging him on 😂😂cuz I love them 😂😂and this video was really helpful as am skinny so this was really helpful thankyou x
Have a great time 😀
@@yourexperienceguide thankyou
I’m a size 24-26 I’m really worried about going to the pleasure beach this month on fitting into the rides. Would you say the rides are reasonably generous?
We’ve given all the advice we possibly could in this video. Have a great time 😀
The delight in Mikes Face when he got on ICON was the same as me fitting on Galactica and Maelstrom
If your really tall against Shoulder restraints try slouching a little to avoid the shoulders blocking the restraint from lowering
Try slouching a little on infusion if your shoulders are the problem
Thank you for watching and commenting
I was waiting to be on this video I was the boy with the green jacket I have been waiting all weekend😥🤣
Always upload Thursday & Sunday, thanks for watching ☺️
@@yourexperienceguide did you. Cut me out?
@@Ball23419 I don’t know what you’re referring to unfortunately
Pint Pizza Sun in BPP thats the stuff dreams are made of. 😎
It was a good day for sure
The rides that have restraints that come down from the front, they have to lock by clicking, what if my belly is too big? How do i know before getting on? Would be embarrassing otherwise
I'm 16 stone 40 inch waist. I fit on everything. If you're less than that you'll be fine
I am not going to ask you your weight but can you not judge based on what Mike was saying?
@@yourexperienceguide i am 18st when i sit belly becomes big, around 43inch
Great vlog as ever ... 👍
Thanks Aaron
I enjoyed the vlog as I do all of your content 👍
Thanks Colin ☺️
What are the restraints like for having phones in pants/shorts pockets? As long as the pockets have zips so the phone can’t fall out would there be an issue?
Zip pockets are always advisable, I always buy trousers or shorts with zipped pockets to wear at parks.
@@yourexperienceguide thanks for the reply, is there issues with restraints on any of the rides coming down and potentially breaking a phone in your pocket from the restraint being too tight?
@@IxIAdAmIxI2O There’s always that risk unfortunately, I usually put my phone under my wallet
