Tbh i get an eerie feeling watching a lot of celeb interviews where both parties, especially, the guest sit there and just posture for 15 mins as upbeat and collected people with a subtly waxy vibe. Its eminent they are employed represent/promote their stuff in that way not that they are that way. Idk if I’m making any sense rn but numbly exchanging positivity on a seemingly personal level is a recipe for that interviewer or interviewee leaving feeling like his soul was just run over by a truck. You can’t possibly display your life or career authentically concealing the uncertainties and discontent throughout them so an interview show that accepts we live life to be disappointed but carry on anyways is very wholesome to me.
