Please read your comments that are giving you the breakdown from a cultural perspective. The practice looks informal, so there is a good chance the vocalist was playing with her range a little, and most there was expressing their appreciation in a familiar way. I would guess this group of people share a unique bond that has long standing. Otherwise, they wouldn't be this playful with each other.

This is not a formal performance during service. She and the pianist are running through a song. The others are, obviously, used to Callie and her incredible voice and range, hence they're conducting usual business.
