Her voice is anointed by God which is why we literally feel it deep inside. This song can impact us in such a way that whatever yoke you have it literally gets destroyed and your burdens get removed. That’s the power of the Holy Spirit. 🔥🔥🔥
not sure if anyone cares but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch all the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown :)
Look, I watch this video of her singing this song anytime I’m feeling down or blue or just kinda disconnected from my spirit, and it has never failed to make me feel instantly plugged back in to my heart and soul. It grounds me, it comforts me, it makes me cry sometimes, sometimes it doesn’t, but no matter what it ALWAYS brings peace back to my spirit. It’s so much more than just a powerful voice hitting crisp notes, although it is 100% that too. I’m not sure if I believe in heaven or hell, I’m not sure what happens when we die. But I am certain that there’s something, and that it’s something we can’t fully comprehend or even begin to understand until we get there. That said, when you said it sounds like, to you, what heaven sounds like or is going to sound like when you get there, I felt and feel the exact same way. It’s angelic but so raw, it’s human but so clearly ethereal. Whoever your (not you specifically)God is, no matter where you come from, what you’ve been through, where you’re going, what you’ve done, where you’ve been, this angelic voice singing to the heavens will make you feel closer to your spirit, closer to the spirit of humanity, it taps into the deepest parts of your soul and reminds you that there is glory and grace in all of us, and what a blessing her song is, a truly divine gift that puts our restless spirits at ease.
Ok sorry just one more thing about when you were talking about the other people in the room and their reactions. First of all, they really are priceless, and I mean that in a good way. Man, to be in that room in the presence...But I couldn’t agree more with what you said about the power of music and how intimate and deep a voice like hers can be because it’s like they are tapping into something bigger than themselves and handing over the reigns. But I’ve never seen anything quite as powerful as the moment in the song when one of the other ladies says “you betta stop!” (Cue the Jennifer Hudson shoe throw lol). A couple other people in the room kinda laugh and smile along, it’s kinda a perfect reaction. But watch it again and keep your focus on Ms. Day when they are reacting to her going into that low register. Really really focus on just her in that moment and you’ll see something that, at least for me, elevates the power of this voice. She does not react or lose focus even for a second. You can really feel just how tapped in she is. It’s like she’s the only person in the room and she’s singing not for her friends watching and listening, but rather, it’s like in that moment you really see that she is singing directly to God. Her eyes are closed the whole time, she moves with the notes, she feels every breath and surrenders control to the angels who lift her voice up and run. Like, just talking about it makes my heart feel warm.
Wow, I don't believe in a God at all. I used to go to church when I was a kid and can appreciate Gospel music, but this lady is on a level that is not of this earth... it is out in the stratosphere for beyond. This song is inside of my body and touching my every emotion. Wow... this is a grand gift.
Great reaction video! Very sincere and articulate. Your compliments towards the gift that God has given her to bless others are well deserved. Hope you stay healthy, be of good courage, and God bless you, young Sir. (Smile)
the moment that REALLY got me was the descending phrasing at the end, it had a great sense of surrendering. Akin to finding comfort crying into your mothers shoulder
I just threw my shoes at my phone👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
She is so INCREDIBLY gifted.
BRUH that WHOLE ROOM was silent by the end of that COMVERSATION with God!
I cried when I heard this for the first time. 😭
If I go to heaven and this lady ain't leading the choir I'm leaving 🚶🚶🚶🚶🚶
🤣🤣🤣🤣
