Yeah, we later heard that they charge a lot for a bicycle, but the view must be astounding!
Good the cableway was closed: it is very expensive and the climb is amazing 😁

Wow, seeing those old ruins in Armenia is like walking back in time.
Yes, it felt like it many times!
Brilliant and really moving. First because of the dog of course. That must be terrible... Also the cinema and the man who explained how it was before. The past must not be seen as black and white, life is not necessarily better now, and not for everybody.
Well, it was a different world back than. Some things were better for sure, but due to the very complicated geopolitics of the region (also in huge part an unfortunate relic of the Soviet rule) many people struggle much more these days than they should.
The green car at about 9:40 isn't old at all, it seems to be almost brand new UAZ-469. Probably 2-3 years old at most. Uaz-469 Old Soviet car that was launched in 1971 and is still made today nearly identical, with a few different variants.
Wow, you're absolutely right. They are not that common in Armenia, so I assumed that they aren't made anymore 🙄

Sure. We both run classic touring frames (long chain stays) with 26x2 inch tires (Marathon Mondial Evo DD). We bought them second-hand.
My (Mathias) frame was too small and I just now switched to a larger frame. Chinese build steel touring frame: LKLM 318 and I love it.
