Look at the minutes played: Raptors: 4 guys over 40 minutes, after coming off a 7 game series. Bucks: Giannis team high 37. After having 6 days off. Friday will be a quick turnaround for the Raptors, having to play another game on the road. Milwaukee will come into game 2 warmed up, unlike tonight.
One Skill Point they didn’t, but Toronto didn’t either but also played great defense. Toronto just completely blew the 4th quarter away by giving extra possessions from rebounds and turning the ball over.
Fluffysaurus absolutely! You could clearly see that fatigue in the 4th quarter. The Raptors cannot maintain riding their starters 40+ minutes every game throughout a series against this fast-paced Bucks team
That’s the key right there, the pace. 42 minutes for Leonard against a slower paced team like philly and Orlando feels more like a full game of 48 against the bucks. 4 or 5 possessions can go by in one minute of game time

I think what he was saying is that the Bucks are the deeper team. The players as in the depth of talent on the teams. The Raptors can have a great attitude after this game but it doesn't matter if their bench can't score. So when Chuck says "the players dictate it" I believe he is trying to say the amount of talent each individual brings dictates it not just attitude.
This was my point in the Celtics series. Everyone focused on how bad the c’s were but it came down to who had more scoring options. The bucks others are GREAT not just good. If Giannis gets it going with them that team is incredibly hard to stop. Too many offensive weapons.
I hate to be that guy, but as a Bucks fan, its gonna be a tough matchup for you guys. The Bucks honestly had a really bad game. Poor D, poor ball security, AWFUL 3pt shooting, the bench was absent. I hate to sound like Paul Pierce, but this looks like it's over. Toronto is too worn out from that Philly series.

This is a ROAD game for the Raps assuming this is their ceiling is incorrect. Their role players play better at home much like the Bucks. The Raps are lot better than the Celtics. They to use 2 to 3 guys just to neutralise Giannis , if the rest play like this the Raptors will have a hard time. Also the fact that the difference in bench impact is that great means Toronto will tire out each game and lose the 2nd half

Charles said Milwaukee has the better bench players, and that's because they have more opportunities to play, so of course, they will have more confidence playing. We can't say Toronto needs more confidence if the bench has little or no opportunity to play. I remember seeing Jeff Van Gundy replace all the starters on the Knicks team, including Patrick, with the bench players. This was brilliant because the bench won the game. Imagine how much confidence those players had from that point on!

Trade AD to the Lakers for Ball, Kuzma, 4th overall and a future 1. I would not trade to Boston as it would require to take on Marcus Smart's contract to make salaries work and to me he isn't a great fit. Next you trade rights to 1st pick to Knicks for Kevin Knox, 3rd pick, and 2 future picks. This leaves you with Starting 5 of Vucevic, Kuzma, Knox, Holiday, and Ball. With the 3rd and 4th pick this yr you pick up Darius Garland who is a combo guard like Lou Williams and can get RJ Barrett or DeAndre Hunter (I think Hunter will be the better fit and player long term) This leaves you with 4-5 future first round picks and a young team with legit shooters and with cap flexibility.
