Laura and Aaron - I own a small nursery in Traverse City, MI - not far from Mackinaw Island. I sell Proven Winners plants. I direct a lot of my customers to your videos for bed design and lay out. Please continue to stay true to describing each plant in detail as you do. This really helps my customers plan their own beds and draw on your great artistic eye. Love your work here. Keep the videos coming!
Russel just loves being with you guys! He is so funny. What makes your videos so engaging is a total combination of your gorgeous gardens, your very personable talks (you are talking to your friends and it shows) Aaron's fantastic camera and editing work and Russel's antics. I really like it when you engage and bring Aaron into the video so he's not just the "camera". Thanks so much for all your hard work. I don't know how you do it. My husband is sure you have help maintaining your gardens because he has seen mine (weeds!) I don't have near the amount of space you do, but sure would love to do what you do with yours.
I am watching this in 2021. Laura everything looks wonderful. The light purple asylum are beautiful and I did not know it came in any other color than white. By the way Russell cracks me up. He is darling.
I get home from work and first thing I want to do after all the daily "settling in" with the kids is watch your show....it truly puts me at ease....even my daughter's LOVE IT!
You have a gorgeous property and have completed so much work in such a short time, with so much love and enthusiasm. Thank you for sharing it with us. Enjoy!
Your gardening is very beautiful and you are very cute and beautiful like your flowers. I like your vegetables garden. I like your flowers garden. I like your flowers satting outside house, pathway and entrance of the gate. All that is very good. Thanks for your vedio.
You know Laura and Aaron, of all the videos that you produce, I just love your garden tour videos the best. It is because they are longer and I can sit down with a cup of coffee and kick back and relax for a while.
Beautiful! I don't know how you have the time and energy to do all of that work. God Bless you both for all you guys do. You have a beautiful place. You are perfect for one another.
i actually said "yes" outloud when i saw a new tour was uploaded! my family just looked at me like 'ooookay'... Russell is on fire today! great tour thanks so much!
Love it, all looks great! Especially loved hearing the train toot in background -sweet!! My childhood years, lived right near train depot, and train still travels through there🚆🚇 🚆🤗keep it up!
I am one of the many viewers that love your garden tours as well as all of your wonderful videos! I will rewatch them several times just to pause the video to write down the names of different plants that I want to try in my Nebraska zone 5 garden. After discovering your channel several months ago ...I have actually watched all of your videos (lots of them more than once) as well as your second Garden Answer channel and the Proven Winners videos that you are in. Russell is the funniest cat, such a cute little character! Keep making these fantastic videos (you know we'll keep watching)! It's alway a treat when your sweet baby boy Benjamin and hubby Aaron are included in the filming.
Omg, only you would see a cluster of mushrooms and say, oh, I can make a fairy garden there! And that's why I love watching your videos! Russell is so darn cute following you guys around, he loves y'all so much. I can't wait to see Aaron's Christmas light extravaganza this year!
🌸🦋🌸 Oh My Word Laura - all your hard work this year really does show when you look at all the beautiful areas of your gardens. The alyssum is unbelievable!!! Those hydrangeas are huge and gorgeous. My favorite spot is the pallet walkway and how it meanders. Hope you have meandering pathway where all the grass was removed. Also, some built up stone beds that create little secret sitting areas. Fountains, benches statues and anything else elemental would be nice. Would be awesome if you can’t see the other end as you are walking through it. Great teamwork y’all in making all your videos. Aaron does amazing at editing, adding the right pics and music to the videos. 🐾🐾 Russell was ready for filming today. He’s so funny, cute and adorable. 💜 Love him. 🐾🐾 Thanks for sharing. Hugs 🤗 🌻🍂 Happy Fall Y’all 🍂🌻
Russell is just so funny and how he loves staying right by you, too cute . 😍 Love your garden tours.💕 Your wrought iron fence is beautiful and would look pretty at your back door, also love those Cinderella pumpkins , wish I could grow them here🎃. Have a wonderful day.
I’m addicted to your videos. I watch them over and over and see new things every time. My garden has improved thanks to your videos! I love the maintenance videos that show the behind the scenes work involved. Thank you!
I love coming back to your previous years videos and seeing how far you have progressed. Its amazing how you talk about what you want for each space and it gives me inspiration for my own garden. We live in Ohio but our seasons are very similar. PS- my husband says you are a bad influence on me, cuz all I want to buy is plants 😂😂😂
Well Laura...I know you think garden tours get mundane but not for most of us...comments just reiterate that. You could probably do two garden tours per month with as much as you have going on...and I don’t think many of us would disapprove. Lol. Your sanctuary/‘yard’ gets more and more beautiful justifying all your hard work. I’m so envious. Just when I want to give up watering in the dead of summer I watch your videos and you inspire to get out there and keep going. Thanks!!!!
I just want to give credit for a moment. Really looks good. I dont know if its planned but at certain points I definitely see the attention to detail. It is appreciated, thank you.
Your garden is as magical as always, that circle brick area had me shooked!! Watching rustle play around in the garden is making me cackle LOL It would be so interesting having a few chickens around your garden! They're so fun to be around~
Beautiful gardens. Russell would love chasing feathers on a string, he is adorable. I do not know how you both get so much done every season, let alone every day. Enjoy your videos very much,THANK YOU. WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOU PLAY THE PIANO!!!!
I bought 25 David Austin rose bushes and planted them in my garden in one long row and it was beautiful and every time I go outside I can’t stop thinking about how much you would love it!🌸🌸🌸🌸🌼
Laura, you have the most beautiful garden ever. Such pretty surprises around every corner and I just love, love Russell. Thanks for this gorgeous tour and the info on how you get your flowers to flourish.
Your efforts show your dedication and care for this beautiful garden. I see your stress in what needs to come next. From my perspective, you are moving at a grand pace, we see amazing results. I want to say relax and enjoy - you are doing a splendid job. I have two boys in their late twenties now, I just see how hard you work, remember my worry with work and balance. Take your time, everyone following loves your progress.
Your Smiles when you go into different parts of your front and back garden. I have been following your vids for so long, love seeing the new varieties that you bring into your garden each year and some faves. x
Thank you for doing a fall tour, love the ornamental cabbage, l am definitely going to create a space in my garden for them! I wanted to just bring to your attention how difficult it is sometimes to watch your videos due to your fast talking. Many many times l have to back up the video just to try to keep up. I know you probably don't realize it, but for some of us we need it slower.
I love, love, love it when you post a new video. I don't know how you find the time, but I have to tell you it makes my day. I do a happy dance. I get very cranky if some one interferes with my watching you & your family. As much as I love listening & watching your, Russell gives me the giggles. We have two Pit mix rescues & we are down to 5 cat rescues. They give so much love & joy to our family. My husband is a pet person threw & threw. I kid him all the time that he was a cat in a previous life. LOL
WOW your dahlia grasses raised bed is A M A Z I N G ! I love your movies and often watch it with my 3 year old daughter during breakfast . They are Such an inspiration and one of the reasons I love gardening (still a hopeless rookie but learning a lot) 😊 thank you!
Great tour! Love to see how each type of plant did. I planted the lemon coral sedum in my front garden this year based on your garden and as you would say “oh my goodness” it is beautiful. The lime green color is so bright and different. AND now I am not afraid to pull out plants I do not like (landscaper planted) and try something different. Thanks Laura.
Everything looks amazing!!! Russell cracks me up!!! Thanks for the tour 😁 I would love it if you did a video on digging up your tubers and storing them, I planted dahlias this year and I’m not sure what to do thanks 😁
Love that area with the ‘dipped in wine coleus ’ , and the alyssum and white roses and dahlias. Gosh! Love most of those areas. You’re doing what I would love to do. Great idea about the vine for ground cover.
Such a fabulous tour of your fall garden!! Love updates and even problems...makes us "normal" people feel hopeful. 😉 I look so forward to every video! Your steps...to die for!! Have a happy day!!💚🍁🎃🍂🌼 Bring on the lights!!✨🌟💫
Love every single one of your videos especially fall……my fav. Such an entertainment. From bloopers to Russell to Benjamin to all the trips to the nursery. I watch these videos more than tv. Kudos to you both for all you do for these videos for us. Nice job!! So excited to see all you will plant in the new area.
You may have to cover the base of your baby maple with a collar to keep Russell from sharpening his nails on it. It looks like he's picked it as his favorite.
As soon as you break the skin of the pumpkin, it will start rotting. It wouldn't last one week let alone a month or more. I like to keep pumpkins for Halloween, and Thanksgiving, right up until the Christmas decor comes out.

And two years later, you have your brick walkway all from the same material. :-) Lovely!
Aaron panning over to Russell was the funniest thing! That is one hammy kitty. 🐱

I think you should totally keep the root cellar for when Benjamin gets older he will love to play in that thing! The best clubhouse ever!
I was just telling my husband how much I LOVE that stair rail last week when I saw it in a picture.

Wonderful way to start my week!! I replay this as I am getting ready for work. I'm in WI and also zone 5. Have a marvelous Monday 😊
awesome tour Laura and Aaron , your garden is stunning, but Russel stole the show. He is the cutest.
I love, love, love it when you post a new video. I don't know how you find the time, but I have to tell you it makes my day. I do a happy dance. Would you please do a video next time you prune your Limelights? Thanks!
WOW your dahlia grasses raised bed is A M A Z I N G ! I love your movies and often watch it with my 3 year old daughter during breakfast . They are Such an inspiration and one of the reasons I love gardening (still a hopeless rookie but learning a lot) 😊 thank you!
Great and inspirational tour! Russell is a 💫 star!!!!😻😻😻
My thoughts exactly. Fall garden tour starring Russell, co-starring Laura. He's a scene stealer for sure!
Wouldn't it be super cute to put giant googly eyes in the vertigo pennisetum for Halloween? It looks like a hairy monster.
Oh I adore Russell!
Your garden areas are so beautiful. Little Russell is so darn cute and he loves the garden tour too. You definitely have a green thumb.
Great tour! Love to see how each type of plant did. I planted the lemon coral sedum in my front garden this year based on your garden and as you would say “oh my goodness” it is beautiful. Beautiful as always, and Russell cracks me up playing. He is so cute. Him and my Max could be brothers
Russell is like a Where's Waldo book.....he keeps popping up and we find him. 🥰
I love your garden tours...hoses laid out and all. And Russell is acting like our four legs....those cool temps really get’em going. 😍😍
Everything looks amazing!!! Russell cracks me up!!! Thanks for the tour 😁 I would love it if you did a video on digging up your tubers and storing them, I planted dahlias this year and I’m not sure what to do thanks 😁

Rebecca Wood Bixler she has a dreamy property with a very good taste in garden and very consistent!!! Goals!!!
Absolutely beautiful! I had my coffee while watching, going to watch again just in case I missed something! I usually watch your videos a few times!
Love every single one of your videos especially fall……my fav. Such an entertainment. From bloopers to Russell to Benjamin to all the trips to the nursery. I watch these videos more than tv. I really wished to see the zoom in pics of those orna cabbages and the berries up the trees...how blessed you are having a bountiful garden
To get the pumpkins to stay on the stairs you might try sticking wooden skewers or thin dowel rods to hold them in place. Even add glue just in case.
As soon as you break the skin of the pumpkin, it will start rotting. It wouldn't last one week let alone a month or more. I like to keep pumpkins for Halloween, and Thanksgiving, right up until the Christmas decor comes out.
After seeing some of your pumpkin decor I filled a shallow oval planter with an assortment of mini pumpkins and gourds. Looks great on my front steps.
Love your beautiful place....such joy seeing all the beauty and you are a wonderful teacher!!! So informative!!
Hello there, your garden is a dream for so many of us, for so many reasons. Keep up a good job!
I just love orange/purple combo, so pretty!
Looks AMAZING!
Like all life that comes to an end so must all we plant come to an end. Just so it can be resurrected in spring with new life and happiness.
