@qr qr from what I understand, it's basically just pure creatine, which allows ADP to transfer back to ATP. A lot of the other ones contain unnecessary stuff that cost so much extra money, and monohydrate is the most studied and cheapest option. I picked up 80 servings for 15 dollars.
Hello Dr. Berg, a month back I got gout flare and my blood work showed elevated Uric acid and creatine. In this case do you recommend creatine supplement.
I took creatine monohydrate for a long time, Im 31 now and doctor tells me my level of creatinine in the blood is too high for my age. Just to give you a quick hint of what it is, if my creatinine level would be too high I would have to undergo dialisis because my kidneys are not able to accomplish their work properly of purifying my blood of all the toxicities.
I had a doctor tell me something similar 15yrs ago. But that isn’t necessarily the case. Higher levels of creatinine in the blood as shown on a GFR equation do not necessarily equate to renal disfunction. 40 years ago that was a good test to screen renal function since people didn’t eat as much protein or supplement with creatine. But, now that test alone is outdated. My levels were high once and I checked with subsequent doctors... they said I was right that the GFR test isn’t valid if you’re supplementing with creatine. I did a blood draw versus 24hr urine collection to be sure... and everything showed 100% okay. Later on down the road I asked another specialist, and he confirmed what I believed and mentioned that babies with significantly smaller masses of kidney tissue have been given adult doses of creatine with no adverse effects. I wouldn’t necessarily accept everything someone tells you just because they are a doctor.
The best creatine that I know of is "Creapure" which is a micronized creatine produced in Germany. It's never, ever given me any stomach upset and it barely costs any more than regular creatine. Ethyl esters aren't one bit more effective, and they taste BAD.
The only better than monohydrate is alkaline versions. It prevents the stomach problems making it easier to disolve in water. You dont need to take as much as monohydrate, because it has a higher rate of absortion.
Dr. Berg, I'm doing IF on a keto diet. I do weight lifting. If I will take creatine, will I be bloated and watery? I'm on a diet since I want to look lean and fit.
Hi Dr Berg I have read many articles online that say creatine is very good for type 2 diabetics in helping lower blood sugar levels, what is your opinion on this?
Dear dr, theres been a small study saying that creatine consumption leads to increase in DHT. ( hairloss) Is that true? Also, even if it is true, would that still affect me considering the fact that i'm also on your Hair formula supplement..
Dr Berg I work out on a fasted state at 8 am and my first meal will be at 3 pm daily . Can I take creatine ( no flavours no added sugar ) when fasting ? I hope you make a video about this
Dr. berg, thanks for the video, I've been requesting what are the foods that support Creatine, my studies showed me that Fenugreek is the answer, and ive been using it for a while now, and I think it works like charm, but could you help me finding other foods that do give the same effect of creating on the body?
Im interested in this research youve done. What about fenugreek? I used to take fenu with another herb (forgot what its called) to try and kick my sugar addiction and lower my cravings.
@Peterer I hear you can use lemongrass or Rosemary with your fenugreek drink. And let's not forget to always add black pepper to the fenu drink bcz it is complimentary and boosts the benefits.
@Naaz Khan you can make it as gold milk. It is technically a hot drink made of milk and fenugreek with a pinch of blackpepper. There are many ways to make fenu drinks. Some are with milk, others are without. You can also add it on top of a bowl of fresh yogurt. But always remember to add black pepper to it.. it is important.
Also if you stop taking it does you also start losing muscle mass or what happens to your body and what can you do about it so that you stay the same .
Does creatine have to be taken immediately after weight training? I'm intermittent fasting and I lift fasted in the morning (5 am), and eat my first meal at noon. If I take creatine by then will it still effective? Thanks, Dr. Berg.
The Last Sifu you need to take creatine for about 2 weeks or so until your muscles saturate with it. What you take in through normal diet does not saturate your muscles. There is no need to bulk up on it like the bottles usually state. Just take a normal dose for 14-21 days. You'll be saturated and after that, just take the same dose daily. If you decide to stop taking creatine, it will take several days for your body to go back to previous levels.

Doctors don’t get their information from Wikipedia...
Anyone know about if it increases dht and therefore causes hairloss? Anyone noticed hair loss while on creatine?
Dr. Dr Is creatine Good for those who are suffering from fatty liver ?

Hello Dr. Berg, a month back I got gout flare and my blood work showed elevated Uric acid and creatine. In this case do you recommend creatine supplement.
is it beneficial for longevity? should i just take a small amount every day instead of planning intense loading fases?
Does Creatine retain water, resulting in giving someone a bulky, beefed up look?
Can I take Creatine for Fat Loss ?

Can I take it while fasting?
Does it break my fast?
The best creatine that I know of is "Creapure" which is a micronized creatine produced in Germany. It's never, ever given me any stomach upset and it barely costs any more than regular creatine. Ethyl esters aren't one bit more effective, and they taste BAD.
The only better than monohydrate is alkaline versions. It prevents the stomach problems making it easier to disolve in water. You dont need to take as much as monohydrate, because it has a higher rate of absortion.
Is it from Body Attack?
I take it capsules made in Germany too, it is monohyderte.
Hani Ismael The one I take is from HSNstore and is crepure. Crepure is made in Germany and every brand that uses it puts its label on it.
Dr. Berg, I'm doing IF on a keto diet. I do weight lifting. If I will take creatine, will I be bloated and watery? I'm on a diet since I want to look lean and fit.
Is collegen powder better
I love your videos, they help me
Hi Dr Berg
I have read many articles online that say creatine is very good for type 2 diabetics in helping lower blood sugar levels, what is your opinion on this?
Dear dr, theres been a small study saying that creatine consumption leads to increase in DHT. ( hairloss) Is that true? Also, even if it is true, would that still affect me considering the fact that i'm also on your Hair formula supplement..
Dr Berg I work out on a fasted state at 8 am and my first meal will be at 3 pm daily . Can I take creatine ( no flavours no added sugar ) when fasting ? I hope you make a video about this
Did you find an answer?
Can you do a video for Creatine on keto diet.
Dr. berg, thanks for the video, I've been requesting what are the foods that support Creatine, my studies showed me that Fenugreek is the answer, and ive been using it for a while now, and I think it works like charm, but could you help me finding other foods that do give the same effect of creating on the body?
Im interested in this research youve done. What about fenugreek? I used to take fenu with another herb (forgot what its called) to try and kick my sugar addiction and lower my cravings.
How do U supplement fenugreek Rafia ???
@Peterer I hear you can use lemongrass or Rosemary with your fenugreek drink. And let's not forget to always add black pepper to the fenu drink bcz it is complimentary and boosts the benefits.
@Naaz Khan you can make it as gold milk. It is technically a hot drink made of milk and fenugreek with a pinch of blackpepper. There are many ways to make fenu drinks. Some are with milk, others are without. You can also add it on top of a bowl of fresh yogurt. But always remember to add black pepper to it.. it is important.
@@rafikchbaklo 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 THANK U & is it the dry spice powder that U use ??
Best time of the day to take creatine?
Also if you stop taking it does you also start losing muscle mass or what happens to your body and what can you do about it so that you stay the same .
I thought Dr Berg would say: it’s uneatable. Is that less dangerous then sugar?
I want to ask you about Cregaatine. Is it worth it? Why is only one vender selling it? How can I get some?

can you take creatine during your fast or will it break the fast?
It should not break a fast...
When is the best time to take creatine? Before, during or after the workout? Or does it even matter?
splazarevic1 it makes no difference at all when you take it.
Does creatine effect ketosis?
no - the amounts are soooo small
Thank you sir!
Is it ok for diabetics to take creatine?
No
Can you please elaborate on your answer?
Does creatine have to be taken immediately after weight training? I'm intermittent fasting and I lift fasted in the morning (5 am), and eat my first meal at noon. If I take creatine by then will it still effective? Thanks, Dr. Berg.
The Last Sifu you need to take creatine for about 2 weeks or so until your muscles saturate with it. What you take in through normal diet does not saturate your muscles. There is no need to bulk up on it like the bottles usually state. Just take a normal dose for 14-21 days. You'll be saturated and after that, just take the same dose daily. If you decide to stop taking creatine, it will take several days for your body to go back to previous levels.
please make a video on , intra or post workout consumption of bcaa and glutamine. ok or not on keto
Dr Berg, Can I take Creatine mono hydrate during my 20 hours intermittent (and that's when I do my workout) fasting or does it have to during my 4 hours eating window. thanks
It can only be absorbed in the muscles by insulin, so you should take it with food and maby right after a workout.
Im thinking about starting to use creatine, but i dont want to take it forever. If i use it as a cycle to get my body where i want to, and then stop using it and just maintain, will there be any harmful effects and/or diminish my progress?
I only take it on workout days and only one time. This way it is still helping me but iam not getting an oveload.
EagleAl3 I agree
