I see Santa was good to you, new rod, new net but no hand warmers. Always a shame to find a buck like that. Found a nice 10 while rabbit hunting that was shot in archery season, nothing left but some bones and pieces of hide. Lugged the skull 2 miles back to the truck, still hanging in my shop.

Dusty can you post some drone footage of these spots? I just want to protect these brown trout by putting them in a net.
    Do you ever fish NEPA?

Could you private message this location? I am really keen on getting a 20 inch wild trout this summer. Have fished big spring and the letort but haven’t gotten anything over 15. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I really don’t give out any locations….. I can pretty much tell you that there are big fish in most streams. You just have to really put work in to catch them. Some streams are definitely better than others. If you can locate some streams that do have bigger fish just put time into those and it will pay off! 🤙🎣

Mono or braid? Lb test? Do you tie your lures on with a surgeons loop and a handshake?

I really appreciate your appreciation lol….. yeah it’s how you’ve gotta do it, a lot of the streams I fish don’t necessarily have a ton of fish, but they do have a lot of structure & delivering the right cast is often times the difference between even knowing a fish is in the stream or not! They’re amazing that way sometimes! But figuring this out is what makes the difference in being successful at what I do, or just saying I went fishing!! Lol👌😉😁

@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 I completely understand. You go in and get them. It's like your part trapper, and part Billy goat. Do you buy your spinners from mepps, or do they sponsor you in anyway? Just asking you don't have to answer that question if you don't want to.It's just do to the amount you must lose casting into tight spots. Your technique requires some pinpoint accuracy and that can be very difficult I see at times. It:s almost like if your not losing any lures your not fishing type of approach. You definitely put the effort and time into it. It's what it takes success and most people have no idea. They think you just go fishing and put a video together. I know better and can appreciate it. I worked as a mate and later became a licensed Charter Boat captain on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland for over 20 years. I stepped away from it about five years ago for several reasons. I currently am caring for my father who is not in the best of health, so my time to go fishing is very little , if any at all. Take care and be careful out there.

You need to try a mepps extra deep!
