  • Invertebrate is a term used to describe animals that lack a vertebral column, also known as the spinal column, spine, or backbone. Most animal species in the animal kingdom are invertebrates. In part I of this series, I will briefly and generally discuss the following phyla: Phylum Mollusca (the molluscs) and Phylum Annelida (annelids/segmented worms). The remaining invertebrate phyla are discussed in subsequent videos. Note, this is not a detailed zoology lesson.

    WOW! I graduated in Biology in 2001. I recall how it was difficult to get any information without resourcing to our library. and teachers showing off their cell phones, because they were the first to buy some. It was literally the Stone Age. Thanks for the video.
