It’s a miracle that more people were not killed, so very tragic for all involved, including emergency workers 😢
yea that couldve easily killed a ton more people depending on where it crashed
I would probably be injured or dead if I had my car right now (I dont like public trans in Philly). I always go get Pizza on Fridays around rush hour on that street and the spot where the plane hit is the corner I have to turn right (Cottman Ave) on to go back towards my house....now I don't feel so bad about losing my car last year in a much smaller/normal accident.
That is a star everyone not pay attention
100 yards in a few directions and it would have been a catastrophe instead of a tradgedy

The man that died in his car,his 10 year old son, was the buring person on fire coming out of the flames. He was burned over 90% of his body and is in hospital fighting for his life. His name is ramses, like the Egyptian king. His mother found out while watching tv of the crash! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for him.

I was a lifetime career airline pilot. I did my very best not to die in a hole in the ground. I did my very best on every flight, every time. I cared a lot about my crews and passengers. I’m 78 now. Thank goodness I never hurt anyone. Every accident is felt deeply and personally.
Such an important and respectable job. Props to you. Thanks for keeping us safe. 💪🏻🇺🇸
Appreciate your career. You did it. You won.
That crater is very precise and deep which tells me the plane was going so fast and nose down attitude. I was amazed that fragments travelled 5 city blocks and hit that old man's head in that diner. I agree that it's a miracle more people on the ground were not killed. God Bless those families and victims and heal their hearts.
400 500 536 mph around there! Full throttle
I'm sure they did their best to avoid more people dying when they knew it was too late. Rest in peace
@@SeeMeRolling I don't think they had any control of the airplane.
The update on the man in the diner he lived, he walked to a nearby ambulance to get checked.
That plane weighs about 12000 lbs empty and was likely carrying a near full fuel load of 6700 lbs (1000 gal). There a combination of momentum at 300+ mph and the explosive force of the burning fuel cloud which propelled the pieces so far. They had maybe 1 or 2 sec of ground view when emergng from the cloud deck.
They're just falling out of the sky left and right. I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to fly again.
Imagine being at work hearing this and u and ur family only live down the street. I was scared shitless. Thank god my family is ok. Praying for all my friends and Philly family who was affected 🙏 ❤

yeah, i hate to say it but those last few seconds must have been absolutely terrifying. But like there are definitely worse ways to die. I've never died though. I dont really know
Terrible loss of life. What would cause a jet to go straight down so fast ??
Pilot disorientation - this looks exactly like Amazon contractor Atlas Air 3591, which speared out of the cloud at high speed directly into the ground in 2019 in Texas.
@pulaski1 Could be. The weird thing is that it went straight down at high speed. That seems unusual to me.
@@pulaski1 - Could not be "Pilot Disorientation", not only due to the fact that the plane came down at almost a straight down angle of attack, but also due to the fact that there was a well lit "Night Sky" horizon of City Lights, but also due to the fact that it came down right after takeoff, indicating a either a mechanical or engine problem or emergency on the plane (like an explosion or decompression, -seemingly not likely, and/or a stall - incorrect or not set takeoff configuration of flaps and slats (which seems possibly but unlikely). OR SUICIDE BY PILOT.
@@Sovereign_Citizen_LEOIntentional or heart attack causing the pilot to fall forward forcing the yoke straight down?
@@pulaski1 not likely, more like it lost power, engine or fuel issue, and during the steepest ascent period it would have just nosed over and THAT would cause the steep angle. There's no way a pilot could even accidentally push the nose into such a steep angle at such a low altitude. and there was a copilot.
When you see the sign clipped so close to the crater you understand the extreme pitch that plan was in. Sad. Amazing not more were killed. May God walk beside all the families in their time of grief.
it has got to be traumatic for first responders when they reached that crater after the fires were put out.
The scene is traumatizing even from a distance because there is aircraft fragments everywhere scattered for over a block in all directions , there isn't any identifiable parts of the plane really anywhere.
The most traumatic stuff would be scattered a few hundred feet around the crater.
Very sad, especially for the young patient on board and her mother. Imagine having taken your kid to another country for crucial medical treatment and after finishing the treatment and leaving the hospital, being killed like this on the very first leg of the journey home. The mother definitely knew they were going down and sadly she was powerless to save her child after everything she had been through. Unfair is too weak a word for this. Pray for both of them, that the mother can forgive herself and rest in peace with her child.
The mother has nothing to forgive herself for; she went above and beyond to save her daughter already.
There's no way there was no bomb on that jet.😮

American English used to have descriptive words such as affect, outcome, harmed, benefited, result, improved, changed, damaged, hurt, diminished, growth, etc., but now they are all gone, all having been replaced with "impact."

Did nobody notice the tennis shoe in the beginning?
A pair of white tennis shoes.
So close to the gas station 😮
Why did the plane came down like a missile ? Sounds like a missile instead of being a jet noise.
Did not sound like a missile. I've heard hundreds of missiles in my life as I grew up near Cape Canaveral/Cape Kennedy and then Vandenberg Air Force Base. We used to listen to see if they were coming or going during the Cold War, as we were so close to Cuba. That was the sound of screaming engines at full throttle.
The small jet was probably overloaded, and had to pitch at an angle close to stalling point, to get airborne, which made it lose lift quickly.
To recover from the stall needs a nose down attitude and full power, which may explain the high speed impact, resulting from a failed recovery at low altitude.
please stop making uninformed assumptions. 6 people in a Learjrt 55 is not overloaded. Until we know the cause this speculation is damaging,
It sounds exactly like a jet.
0:45 - Considering we can see cars burned to husks 50 meters away and knowing the streets were actively being traveled... it's rather **amazing** that there were no fatalities on the ground. 3:15 More like 200 meters if not far, far further.

Calm down!!!
Must have been so sudden and violent that there wasn't even a mayday called out. Prayers for the deceased and injured people.
There are many upon many things people have said about this med flight going down. Most of it is subjective and just plain outrageous.
The aircraft had a catastrophic failure, was uncontrollable and fell from roughly 1500 feet straight down with virtually all its fuel onboard and both engines running at 100% rpm’s. When it hit the earth it did so at a suicidal speed of approximately 275 mph.
It made contact and it incinerated completely. Only fragments tossed blocks away from the explosion that ensued were found days later. The 6 people on board were vaporized literally. They were not aware nor alive when this occurred. The NTSB will try and determine the precise cause of this air accident, but truthfully short of a miracle, it will never fully be determined. I know that is frustrating to family and people on the ground, but that is the way it is and nothing on heaven and earth can change it. Life will go on. Hopefully better, but life will go on.
My heart goes out to the families of all involved and especially the little girl who was caught up in this and was just trying to survive. She is sitting with the Lord along with the five others.

It's interesting that cars were burned to the ground, but the advertising column next to the crater was left undamaged...
The sign was behind the point of impact and those cars were ahead, all the debris and burning fuel continued in the horizontal direction of the aircraft which was away from the sign but you’re right to the extent that the sign being so close would have had some scorching from the initial explosion. The majority of the debris field is away from the sign and extends horizontally from the crater. Scary to think as well that some of the debris was sucked up and forward by the hot gasses of the fireball just like throwing confetti into a bonfire. Thankfully the deaths were instantaneous and the occupants were spared the pain of the subsequent fire.
Cars contain polyester seating (flammable) and are fueled with gasoline (also flammable) which makes them burn more easily

Of course, the plane would "EXPLODE and burst into flames" the plane had just taken off and was full of fuel. Most likely cause is spatial disorientation, but the NTSB will find out after an extensive investigation. Sadly, the FFA does not have to heed the warnings and suggestions of the NTSB.
the media is still trying to figure out what cause the plane to crash. they are the smartest people on the planet
They're too busy with their noses up Trump's butt

What the hell is going on with these planes. Are we having terrorist attacks? It's within seconds from take off then the nose dives straight down. Does anyone remember back when Obama was in office we was having train wrecks all over and some was carrying petro.
No.
It's not terrorist attacks but it's just the frequency being grouped together. Look at 1985, the deadliest airline crash period ever. Jumbo jets were falling from the skies and air travel was so dangerous. It happens throughout history of aviation.
There is no relation. Thousands of planes fly in the US alone every day. Two crashes days apart do not suggest a terrorist attack.people should assume the simple 't explanation, an accident, until strong evidence of anything else comes up.

From one of the videos I saw, it didn't look like the plane fell to the ground, it nose dived and FLEW at top speed into the ground. It went down like a missile. People said the ground shook. Maybe the pilot passed out on the accelerator or the cockpit controls were remotely hacked or something. But that was crazy how it went down so fast in a nose dive. 🙏
That hole in the ground is so small. And the damage is so strung out. Horrible. NTSB women is my step mom. Pretty smoking.
Airplanes are made of thin aluminum , it's surprising that it even made a mark in the asphalt at all
What I don’t get is the damage that plane caused, yet when the jets hit the towers on Sept 11, why didn’t the planes knock over the towers. So much damage from one smaller plane.
This is because the Twin Towers were designed to withstand a hit from a plane. The Empire State Building had been struck by a plane in 1945, so the architects for the Twin Towers knew that would be a risk for such tall towers. They designed the towers to withstand a strike from the then-largest jet plane, a Boeing 707, and to stay standing in the face of the fire from its jet fuel capacity.
Unfortunately, the architects had no way of knowing that in the future, larger jet liners would become commonplace. The Twin Towers were struck by Boeing 767s, which were much larger, carried much more fuel, and even flew faster. It's a testament to the architects' work that the towers did not immediately collapse, but the structure was never designed to withstand the burning of the 767's amount of jet fuel, leading to their collapse.
There's a pretty heartbreaking letter from one of the architects in the aftermath of the collapse talking about all this at the 9/11 Museum. Very interesting, but very sad.
