I've had this deck for 20-some years, and I've never read with it. I remember when I first got it I was totally confused, didn't understand the association at all! Over time I understood the suit changes, and the major re-namings, if only by number. Not until today did I understand the symbols for the court cards, so thank you! I also remember thinking that some of the images were stunning while others were cartoonish. That was another reason I didn't read with it, inconsistency. But now, I've pulled it out and will work with it. I enjoyed your story about your connection with the deck too :)

@Kyleliz Thank You so much for your kind words! 🙏🏼I am glad that you enjoyed the story, and that the video helped you! 🌻 I know I had an issue with figuring out the court cards and the other cards as well -- I simply connected them with the Rider-Waite-Smith cards because I was super familiar with them. But from that point on, I realized that these cards have something more to add to the reading perspective via their imagery. I am very happy to hear that you have started using your Osho Zen deck!! 💕 This deck deserves to be played with, and meditated with! ✨

I downloaded a huge torrent of Osho's talks and listened to them for a few *years* lol.. while I had a horrible data entry position. I always found his talks to be extremely wise and I sincerely believe he was trying to liberate the consciousness of the world. I think he talked daily for nearly 2-3 hours solid, seemingly off the cuff. He told jokes during his talks and admitted up front to reading those off a notepad cause he didn't want to mess up the set-ups and punch lines, otherwise he just had a general topic based off of a question and he talked. I never watched the Netflix special and it's very possible that his group got out of hand at some point but I don't think you can fake the intent of what he was trying to do. All that learning and teaching about it for hours every day, you can't do that unless you love your work. The whole money thing, he said a rich man only believes in the value of a thing if it costs an exorbitant amount, which if you are extremely rich, but spiritually troubled, that seems to make sense. Psychologically you would need to prove to yourself that your freedom was your highest priority by way of your own value system, or else you will continue to trip yourself up with ego games. The other reason for the watches and the rolls royces, he said he was tired of this stereotype of the impoverished mystic, that this quality of freedom and consciousness would never catch on to enough people in the west unless this stereotype was done away with, which also makes sense. I would never join his ashram (*sp) simply because I value my freedom too much, but that is exactly what Osho was trying to instill in people. There is a reason why he is demonized even today, for the "powers that be", even in physical death, he is a dangerous man.
And thanks for the video too!! lol..

You have an interesting perspective! And I do agree with quite a bit of what you said.
Osho was quite a learned, well-read person. If nothing else, his knowledge and his take on various topics was fresh and different from the norm. He broke the mould, as it were. And that's what upset the "establishment".
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Sorry it took me a while Io see your message - RUclips stopped sending me notifications for some reason.
Thanks for watching the video! 🙏🏼

According to me, the best deck you can get as a beginner is the Universal Waite-Smith Tarot Card Deck. It is the recolored version of the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot Card Deck and the image components are clearer in this version.

Very nice see showing off the deck.
One thing was very curious though that the cards had emotional verb names e.g. schizophrenia, playfulness, adventurous.
May be I perceived incorrectly. But the introduction to the cards was a great experience.

Sister 1996 I purchased Osho tarot. That time I told this tarot to my spiritual teacher. He is not interested. I said it is simply game.As a teacher you told " Life is a game said Lord Krishna ". Then he hesitate to took one card from my tarot with his left hand.Card is THE MASTER. Still I can't forget his wondering and jumping. (Nearly 25 years). For Tamil viewers see Zensang library channel.

How interesting!! ✨ I hope you've spent some time exploring this deck in the interim! 😊 It is a lovely deck!
And yes, while "life is a game" it can be interesting to see what forces are at play in this game, isn't it! 😊
