That rear "4 Runner" chrome emblem just looks stupid! On a rugged off-road vehicle like this, the emblem should be stamped into the metal and NO Chrome.
I think it’s just placed there temporarily for the tease. If they had put the logo where it normally is, it would giveaway the top portion and back window. The logo has generally been placed right below the back window.

As a 2022 4runner owner I am not that excited. I get that a change after 15 years is exciting. But besides the engine I wont be crazy about I expect a more modern interior but probably less quality of the current 4 runner. I have always loved the design of the 4Runner, but I can't justify its terrible gas mileage. If it had 25-30MPG fuel economy, it would be a must buy for me.
Think it will be a bust for most people, I've seen your arguments that you make that the Tacoma drivetrain 2.4 turbo "Drives better" is mute as it basically same HP similar torque its just regearing with a 8 speed transmission that also benefited mpg which could of been switch to 3.5 V6 and the 4.0 V6 but due to EPA restrictions forced them to changed the engine not by choice and with the unknows of its reliability in the long run as this a truck not a daily car commuter. The 6th gen will go against the core principles of the 5th gen that people come to love, 6th Gen will appeal to new generations of buyers of cheap tech thrills and with a city commuter refined driving experience with a overprice tag as we have seen with the Tacoma.

Great job on the video Jon! Thanks for making it. The placement of those 4RUNNER letters looks to give just enough clearance against the bumper for that whole gate to fold down and not up. Dare we hope for the return of the tailgate? Maybe even removable top?
I hope they get rid of the Darth Vader front grill from the current 4 runner, last year's Tacoma, and Tundra. Years from now, we will all make fun of it.
