Introducing The NEWEST Lithuanian Ration MRE REVIEW
Makes me want some lithuanian rations now, those meals taste amazingly good...
those are civil MRE's. as you said. Military MRE's come in a green bag, with a heating bag. Also theres a heating tray, matches, dry fuel and a zip tie to tie your garbage together.
Different thing
Nice to hear Phillip's comments as well as yours.......thanks for the review.
Mix the peanuts with the main plus some crushed biscuits mate 🙂
I appreciate your video sincerely, and I agree I’m not a coffee person either. So I ordered 2 of those meals and the funny thing is they were passed on has military MREs . Thanks to you I find out it’s a civilian ration . Nice thank you and I learned something new. The food was delicious panzer waffles ok . Thanks 😊
Something like this would have been good back when I was doing multistate motorcycle roadtrips and camping trips. I always carried along my GI canteen/cup/messkit setup.
YT Food ration reviewers; “not into coffee, not into this, not into that, tastes eh” Bro, its rations not gourmet.
I love my coffee in the morning with hazelnut creamer. Just one cup a day otherwise I get too hyper even at my crusty ol age.
Coffee ice cream is the best
The price is really far too high for that single meal.
It's not the price of the ration it's the shipping price.
@@Anuisgod That will be part of it. I suspect most private MRE manufacturers are pretty small and need a high mark up to survive.
Lithuanian mre costs 4-5 EUR online
Well weather is certainly matching the country, lol
Looks like the main is made by the military ration manufacturer.
Jam and towelette look the same as well.
Thanks for showing us.
Cheers pete
Plastic utensils, cups, straws and bags are banned in NSW in Australia. Wooden utensils flavour the food detracting from the dish.
Well, at least you didn't spend a fortune on it. The main looked like it was the best part of the entire thing. I'd suspect it would be good enough to take on a fishing trip. Pity about no heater, but I have enough leftover heaters that it wouldn't be a problem. Good review.
I guess that is civilian. No drinks, no stove.
Not just spoons but all single use plastic, including takeaway boxes. I'm in the uk 🇬🇧
Paying a lot of money just for a one-time foreign MRE to show on a video is worth it. One doesn't expect to continue purchasing a lot of the same foreign ration. So for his money, Nathan couldn't go wrong just to show us this one time what a Lithuanian MRE looks like. And it looks fairly simple and minimal.
That coffee bar probably needed more chocolate to balance the flavor out. Still beats that paint thinner bar in those French rations.
If you don't mind the taste of coffee, the chocolate bar is pretty good. It's a beloved classic here in Lithuania, actually.
Paper straws wrapped in plastic but plastic straws wrapped in paper.
Awesome 😎
Its shame they changed Ruta dark cholotate bar to Pupa. Previous version was way better, use to get a berry drink and chicken soup
Yes Europe are banning plastic spoons, in the UK in most places now its all wooden which even though its better for the environment, the cheap way they are made all you can taste is wood when you are eating, really ruins things like yoghurts. For that reason i now carry reusable plastic usually in the form of a US MRE spoon. I thought this was a new military design packaging until you said civilian, a little disappointing but the main was still good. Would have been better with a chocolate bar instead. Still great to see though.
The spoon is made of mahogany.
Single-use plastics are on the way to being banned here in Canada.
Still going hard , and paper straws and wooden spoons is standard in the UK
9.5 oz meals more like a lunch menu or hiking type ration
I'm Lithuanian and I never saw this MRE lol
The only advantage over buying stuff of the shelf at your local grocery is that the "stew" in in a pouch instead of a can.
No drinks, no FRH, no real spoon, no instant soup, not even a napkin? Come on! Way overpriced.
,,,BON APPETITE..
FIRST!!!!
Thirst????
Poor ration
Fake MRE
We're did you order this from
