@@WanderingWagners The smart way is to put the two wheels in the front. When I was young I rode a huge trip-cycle and turned over very easily. Lucky I was young like you guys. I truly love your rig. We have our 2023 truck camper up for sale but only scam artist have called us except one person who has to sell his home first.
About 5 years ago in our classA, we were at the Newmar service center and we went out in Jeep and had a good time sliding around in the snow. Well, we got 6-8 inches of snow on top and then it froze overnight. Needless to say, our slides wouldn’t come in. The tech was able to slowly drive it into the service bay and let it thaw out. A fellow Newmar owner that we got to know a few years later showed us pictures of our rig when this happened. He happened to be there and took some pics to be able to show people our stupid rookie mistake!
Luckily our slide toppers have worked great for helping the slides come in even with a lot of snow and cold. I'm actually surprised our haven't been stuck open yet😂 glad to hear your slides were ok though!
Stay away from WV. We are headed there, June 4th to the 8th to see New River Gorge N.P. Then head west to eastern KY, and hike around Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge for a few days. JK, come join us.
I love to breathe in the Lake Erie shore smell. It's home. It's where we lived for thirty-five years, and to where we plan on returning after our full-time life on the road. Lake Erie smells better than it did back in the 1960's. It's good to see the continued improvement in the quality of the Lake. Now, if only the run-off of phospates could be stemmed so as to stop the alge blooms in the western basin of the Lake. Also, I miss riding my single speed bike throughout all the flat-land in NW Ohio. As I said, we'll be returning after a thirty year absence. There's no place like home.
We failed to retract our awning and went to the store. A thunderstorm hit and riped the awaning off our camper. We had it replaced but never did that again.
With how flimsy these awnings are I'm surprised ours survived. We both thought it was a goner haha With regards to the internet, we can't say what the best is because we haven't tried them all but at&t usually has best coverage. When T-Mobile has coverage their speeds are the best and Verizon is so so plus they throttle you like crazy where the others don't so. We normally do best with att sand TMobile
We were so distracted by watching the hail (with 0 wind) that we didn't even think about rolling it up until it was bowing from the weight of the hail!🤦🏼♀️
Our Class C was SOOOO loud inside with clanking things in cabinets and drawers. I don’t hear anything in yours when you’re driving. How do you prevent the noise?
We put grippy cabinet liner material between plates and put a towel between the glass cover and cooktop. Nothing else really makes noise but pretty much everything is in small totes so they don't move. Let me know if you have any other questions or want more info on this!
My wife and I were working at a KOA campground in Cannonville, Utah when unexpected high winds came out of nowhere. It tore 3 RV awnings completely off, and damaged another 3. All the awnings were left out, and the owners were gone for the day. My wife and I left left camp with our awnings out, we always took it in before we left.
We normally roll it in but the winds were so low we had it out and didn't think about it. Luckily the storm wasn't windy before we got back! We just were enjoying watching the hail fall that we didn't even think about putting the awning in until we saw it sagging!
Want a crappy weather weekend invite the Wagners, or at least it seems like that sometimes. That trike was interesting but does the back end fold down? Keep the good stuff coming guys.
The trike has no folding parts. I transport it in the back of my 2020 Tacoma (Access Cab w 6ft bed) with a soft topper. The soft topper limits the height of what I can put in the bed so I have to remove the trike’s front wheel and roll it backwards up a set of folding ramps. Works perfectly and there is still enough room for a 2-wheel ebike about the size of the Lectric XP.
We love East Harbor State Park. A lot of great memories there for us too such as the time we rode out a strong Nor’easter in the park. 12-20’ seas at Marblehead. Fun times. Thanks for sharing your adventure with it “Wagnering.”
You two stay at the coolest state parks all year through! How do you do that? Do you have the in with these parks to book so close in ? Tell us how please
Well this time of year is easy... Parks are still pretty empty. During higher volume times we are fluid on where we go and will watch for cancellations or go to parks that aren't "popular". Really nothing to it besides not caring where we go haha
I definitely enjoy that Lake Erie shore smell too - brings back some good childhood memories! Glad the awning was okay in the end after all that ice buildup from the hail!
If anyone knows better it’s you guys. At least nothing got damaged. Every time we watch your videos Heidi recognizes your voice and immediately starts looking for Guy and Piper. We enjoy East Harbor and go a couple times a year.
Hey thanks for the comment, stick!😁👏🏻 It's always nice when you have a great camping neighbor😊 thanks again for a great weekend and hopefully the weather was better after we left LOL
@@WanderingWagners I finally went to Walmart in PC Sunday evening to buy a heavier coat for the rest of my stay. 😆 No luck tho, all spring and summer clothes.
We've been here a few times without rain but what amazed us more was there was no WIND! Having lived here most our lives it was hard to remember a day when it wasn't windy lol
Tri-cycles are very easy to turn over. ! Great video
It reminded us of the trikes we had as kids😂 fun but still prefer a regular bike

Me too! That “Lake Smell” I love to smell it as I first get out on the lake, just as the sun is coming up and the lake is like glass. Great video!
Mike loves it!
Camping in hail is so much fun! Mud is our favorite though 😂 Glad the awning is ok!!! Safe travels!!
We get a lot of the mud too, been a crazy year for mud😂 Luckily us watching the hail under the awning didn't hurt the awning haha
I am flabbergasted! You guys were in rain...wow...
But there was hail too😂 we've been in that before too but a lot less frequently haha!
I wish you would come to the Texas Hill Country and spend a month or two! We need the rain!

Both of us grew up on lake Erie too! Although Lynn was on a farm so her nostalgic scent is farm animals while Mike's is dead fish/lake😂
Those awnings can barely withstand rain much less hail.
I know! This one isn't very sturdy so we both thought it was a goner... Couldn't believe it survived
Ha. Live in Port Clinton and camp at East Harbor a lot.... Nice place. Great places to eat nearby, too.
Nice! We lived in Marblehead for over 12 years and Lynn is from port Clinton originally

20mph unless we are going downhill... Then a scary 30😂
