- today's video is just a Star Wars Theory, where I think Reva might actually turn to the light side or be already in the light side and just faking it really well.
(she had to bleed her saber crystal, so she must have some anger)
I think she could be doing all this to find someone important to her (good or bad) in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show.

Reva has committed so many atrocities during this show, she's going to need to do a lot of community service...
She’ll probably be killed at the end possibly sacrificing herself. That was the only possible way to redeem Vader and Kylo so it shouldn’t be any different for reva.

I definitely feel like she’s doing this to get closer to Vader to try and kill him. But I also feel like she holds some resentment towards the Jedi for letting this happen. Especially Obi Wan for training the dude who helped wipe them all out. I think she’s mad at both sides of the force 🤷🏾♂️
I agree, I think Kenobi is to try and get a better position for herself but also out of resentment that he “allowed” Anakin to become Vader
Oh Gawd! If she holds this type of anger towards Obi-Wan for training Anakin to become a Jedi but quickly turned to the Darkside, how was this Obi-Wan fault? Also, why would she join the group who slaughter younglings and Jedi's? If she's mad at both sides wouldn't she do what Obi-Wan was doing and just hide? If she is "plotting" to kill Vader there was no reason for her to cut off that innocent citizen hand after when she was told to stand down. I "feel" that you all just want to make up these excuses for her bad acting and the show bad plots.

@@kane7393 that's a sith thing. Master can replace apprentices if they're not powerful enough and apprentices must overthrow their masters to continue the legacy. Inquisitors aren't siths if thry hate each other that's just personal

I think Reva was one of the kids on Coruscant during Order 66 - and the reason she started hating the Jedi (and Obi-Wan specifically) was because Kenobi sent that message out that no one should attempt to come back to the Jedi Temple, which essentially prevented her from getting any help to escape. So she felt abandoned and left for dead by her family.

She is definitely the little girl in the temple. I always took the “gutter” line as they found her when she was very young and on the run. I think she is truly on the dark side because of her abandonment. However, I foresee redemption for her.
Just a thought, but does anyone remember the kid that Ezra met at the academy in rebels? He was looking for his older sister that had been in the academy and was recruited into a program and never heard from again. What if Reva is the older sister that he was looking for?

What sold me on this theory last episode was when she doesn’t press the button to torture Leia. She even yells at Leia “say something!” because she doesn’t want to torture her.
She really hasn’t hurt anyone she didn’t have to to hold appearances. *At most* she cut off that woman’s hand, but the Third Brother was there, just like he was there when she killed the pilot, so you could argue she had to for appearances as an Inquisitor.
Who has she actually killed by choice? Only the Grand Inquisitor*!
I suspect she will try to kill and be killed by Vader.

@@blueversace4447 Vader was reedemed by stoping the most evil man in the galaxy. Also in Rotj we saw glimpses of anakin in vader. Reva so far has gone of selfish intentions for revenge and is brash and reckless almost torturing a child and other evil things of screen. And if she does play an integral part towards the skywalker saga it would be stupid.
@@Supreme_Jones She didn’t torture Leia, she even yelled “Say something!” because she didn’t want to. She was holding out as long as possible and then the guard came in.
My theory is that she's actually after Vader. She saw Anakin killing her youngling friends and that's how she knows who Vader is under the mask. That's also why she was not interested in finding other Jedi besides Kenobi. She sees Kenobi as her ticket to get close to Vader. Vader knows this though and that's why he is keeping the secret of the Grand Inquisitor being alive. He's waiting for her to reveal herself. Bet by the end it'll be Obi Wan and Reva vs Vader and the Grand Inquisitor.

That makes sense, she never threatened or attempted to kill Kenobi. Even in episode 2 she said she was going to bring him to vader.

The only thing I dislike about this theory is that whatever di$ney ends up doing won’t even be close to as this satisfying as this would be.

This has been my speculation from the beginning. I even think she could be a type of sleeper agent who has been plotting against Vader. She could be a true dark sider who wants to replace him as Sith apprentice, or she might want justice /revenge for what Vader did to her master and the other Jedi. It seems likely that she was the padawan seen in the first episode. She demonstates an unusually advanced ability to read thoughts, which raises the possibility that she is able to shield her own or use Jedi Mind trick abilities in a very advanced way. Her plan appears to be to use Leia to draw out Obi Wan. But could she be using Obi Wan to draw Vader into a vulnerable position?
Perhaps a student of Quinlan Voss 🤔. Just speculation but it would be cool and possibly logical. Since he is the one who had a heavy hand in getting children and Jedi to safety during that time period. At least according to legends.

Interesting, but don't forget she tried to cut a good Jedi in half had the GI not stopped her...so it's hard to see her on the good side of things but I'm sure she has her alternative motives
Very good theory, but personally, I feel that would’ve been a better plot point for another show rather than, you know, OBI-WAN KENOBI? Idk about you guys, but there’s too much attention and importance to a character I personally despise yet the titular hero feels like he isn’t getting the respect and attention he deserves.
The writing in this series makes game of thrones season 8 look like a masterpiece 😆
I think there's definitely a possibility that she's going to turn on the empire. I don't think she'll turn to the light but it's more of a self-serving position where she's a person with force abilities looking to get what she wants similar to Ezra at the beginning to Rebels but willing to hurt or kill innocent people to get what she wants.
I hate how this character has been made so important to the show. I wanted Vader and Kenobi, not Reva and Kenobi.
Imagine Vader says the Grand Inquisitor doesn't matter because he KNOWS he's gonna be ok. Imagine that, if Reva get's caught being a traitor (or a loser), and Vader leaves Reva to the GI. Would add to the threat of the GI in rebels. I really loved his character and what the actor did with it. Would love to see it.
Reva vs Grand Inquisitor and Grand Inquisitor kills her to prove his power. Would love that

Imagine a full episode with 2 fights at the same time: GI vs 3rd Sister and Vader vs Kenobi

I feel like it’s highly possible because grande inquisitor has to return and it is probably being saved for the last episode or the end of the next one. Next episode vader will probably still trust her after she leads him to the rebels.
@@marcusanark2541 there’s 2 episodes left but I get what you’re saying. I don’t think the show needs saving tho. I can agree that reva isn’t the greatest character but I do think her character will serve a more meaningful purpose in the end. Of course she has to die because if not then grande inquisitor would have been hunting her during the rebels timeline. Also I just wanna say everyone needs to appreciate the leia and obi wan interactions more. He’s really warmed up to her over the course of the show, even seeing her mother in her at moments. It’s touching I gotta say. And it shows why leia sent eh plead for help to obi wan directly in a new hope. And all of this has shown a lot of development to obi wan during the course of the show.
One thing I think is very interesting that people don’t seem to acknowledge is that Reva might be that guys wife. You know the dude who told Obi-Wan that “my wife was a Jedi, until the inquisitors came along, so I know what the empire are capable of.” Excuse the lack of accuracy in that sentence as I can’t remember it exactly off the top of my head.

Light or dark, as long as Reva meets her demise in the finale, that's all I care about. I don't think she'll turn though, but Vader finishing her off would probably be more satisfying.
I actually agree with this theory, during the interrogation between Reva and Leia she kept stressing the jedi would not come save her. She was almost saying it in a way from personal experience. Like she was left behind. I think she figured if she could find Obi Wan she would find where the remaining Jedi are taking refuge which would explain why it was so unusually important to her to find him.
Although thats great and all…still would rather have this be about Vader and Obi wan more…they are really spending a lot of time on Reva’s character development…
Well, she wasn't left behind on purpose. She watched the Jedi's being slaughtered as she heard over the loud speakers "ORDER 66" stuck on repeat. Also, it's her job as a Inquisitor to locate the remaining Jedi's to kill them. They have literally been killing Jedi's before the show started.
Yeah it's like it's not even a kenobi show it's like just a show with him in it, reva is just so unnecessary, it should be about kenobi and anakin and not about some shity Inquisitor who no one gives a crap about

@@DragonmasterCire There is nothing in 4 that says Leia didn't know Kenobi. She knows all of his names (General Kenobi ,Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ben Kenobi) and was on the way to Tatooine when she got kidnapped by Vader.

He could have pulled what he did with Admiral Ozzel. Vader would have definitely killed the Third sister there and transfer leadership of the hunt of KENOBI to the fifth brother

Yeah it's sooooo odd. Like he was some how privy to the show knowing she's a main character lol. He doesn't even need her anymore. So she placed the tracker, ok. Kill her and the tracker is still there. Not to mention what happened to, the only thing that matters is Kenobi. Since when did Vader suddenly care about, "The Path".
If you look at the official character posters, you can see two things clearly, a character and their objective.
For example -
Obi wans poster has Vader on it
All the inquisitors’ posters have obi wan on it
But REVA’s poster has VADER on it too.
For me this feels pretty clear that in the end, regardless of whether she turns back to the light, she wants to take down Vader for killing her friends/family in the Jedi temple.

She definitely wants SOMETHING other than Kenobi. My guess is she's reaching for power to get close to Vader and try to kill him for what she witnessed him do. He's the one who turned her life upside down as a child and destroyed everything she knew. I think she's done far too many terrible things to be faking it and frankly will be a bit pissed if that's where the writer took her. That rage is real and it has a target. I just don't buy that the target is Kenobi.
And what grand way to change and join Obi wan like Ashoka who made many mistakes too.

So sick of Dark Side users flipping. It made sense for Vader to flip to save Luke. But Kylo was a lackluster arc and Reva will be cliche as you said
yeah. I kind of want her to hint to vader that she knows who he is, and then Vader just cuts her down.
@@aharonbaalshem the sequels sucked and Adam driver is probably the only good quality from it all. Made sense for him to flip though as he wasn't ever a sith to begin with, he was barely into the dark side at all.

I think it's the opposite. I think she resents the jedi for taking her when she was a child. There have already been references to this (like when obi-wan was talking about being taken, and how she said she once has a droid and everything was taken from her)

I've thought the same - she's probably not a double agent and is just pissed at the life the jedi stole from her. She may have such resentment to Obi-wan because HE is the jedi who found her, leading her to losing every family she ever had.
I think if this show was called "Reva: A Star Wars Story" or something, and Obi was in it "just because," then I would like it more.
My issue is she's inconsistent in her actions (otherwise I don't mind her), and she's stealing the spotlight from a MASSIVE character in the series (it would also be different if she appeared in the Andor show, as he's not one of the top all time fan fav star wars characters)
I think the biggest hint, was when Darth Vader was killing random civs at the village. Her reaction was different compared to the other inquisitors...there is some good in her still...
I hope Reva doesn't turn good it'll be so underwhelming, but ultimately I think she's trying her hardest to further push herself into the Darkside but will be constantly pulled back into the light
anyone else think the fifth brother is kinda underrated/overshadowed in this show ? like the inquisitor’s whole purpose in this is to search for all remaining Jedi, so why are we wasting scenes on reva doing batman shit over rooftops when we could be seeing what all the other inquisitor’s have been up to

If anything I like the rest of the Inquisitors because I feel they’re not as forced as Reva. They feel more natural in the order of the show.
he does nothing and whines because they need reva to do everything. he's nothing like the actual character. the best one is the alien chick that doesnt talk and actually looks interesting.
I’ve been thinking about that too after two scenarios I saw:
1) Reva briefly gasping in horror when Vader snapped that child’s neck.
2) Reva telling little Leia how sorry she was for what she was about to do.
Those two things were weird.

Could’ve used some creative elements like having her wear an inquisitor mask and slowly wear it less and less as she chased obi wan. Ridiculous and made no sense that she killed her comrade. Also such a blatant missed opportunity for a light saber fight that would’ve shown to the audience how brutal and skilled the inquisitors were.
I definitely wouldn’t say she’s faking anything… but I could maybe see her turning back to the light side at some point in the show. But if they go that route I hope they don’t make it into too big of a thing. The series should be centered around obi wan and Vader first and foremost. She’s already gotten too much attention with the story and too much screen time. Especially considering she’s not a very compelling or interesting character (hell she’s not even a good character imo). The show would’ve been better altogether if she wasn’t in it at all and they just used the inquisitors that were in Rebels already…..
Creating a new inquisitor gives you the choice to kill her...

I’ve seen a lot of people with this theory that she’s going to turn. I haven’t heard anyone mention her looking for someone, which makes a lot of sense. From her reactions to the Jedi symbol, and what she was telling leia, I feel like she’s gone through a lot in her young life. I’ve had a thought that maybe she had gone through some kind of trauma before the inquisitors found her. I hope we get the backstory eventually.

Her motives were revealed in episode 4. The Jedi took her from her family when she was a child and almost immediately, order 66 took out the Jedi. Reva wants her family back. She wants the jedi to give her back her family.
This is what I believe too. She's old enough to have been in the jedi order in ep3 and definitely resents the Jedi for taking her away. She's written as another Anakin-like character.

she was one of the younglings during the opening scene of Kenobi. That mark she saw on the wall of the safe house was that of her old master who she thought was dead. The Jedi who sacrificed herself for the younglings escape WASN'T her master. Reva would be still in her teens as she murdered her way through the ranks of the Inquisition.
I believe she is definitely looking for something/someone... Her reaction in the safe house, killing the grand inquisitor and allowing Obi Wan to "escape" more than once. I get the feeling there is more to her than meets the eye so to speak.
Notice how she doesn't take out Wade, even though he is like hovering 15 ft away from her and then only acts when the other Inquisitor tells her to kill him. She would have let him get away even though her bug was on the other ship. There is definitely an ulterior motive for Reva--plus without one she is a very flat character.
Did you notice how 2 adults and a 10 year old fit in the cockpit of a two seater speeder at the end making it a 3 seater speeder with a child seat as well? Did you also notice how Reva destroyed the other speeder by throwing a box at it?
I just can’t, sorry I can’t help myself. This episode was fascinating in how bad it was. I can’t wait for next week’s episode, it really can’t get any worse can it?
@@rexrocker1268 Actually, the rebel alliance modified the standard T-47 landspeeder by adding the rear gunner position and tow cable in the passenger and cargo area behind the cockpit. The other landspeeder gets taken out by a energy cell or ammo box smashing into it's engine and exploding. You really seem to be reaching for reasons to hate the show, and they aren't even right!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Just enjoy the show and stop being an idiot.
She also didn’t kill Haja in episode 2 or Tala in this last episode when she so easily could have (and most inquisitors probably would)

@@rexrocker1268 Yeah, this episode really highlighted a lot of what bugs me about this show: its very sloppy in how it presents itself to you. The whole trenchcoat thing could totally work if they had taken 30 seconds to set it up as a sort of joke. But they don't and we are left to decide if its hilarious or hilariously bad.
Or Obi jumping to hide from the stormtroopers while CLEARLY IN VIEW OF THEM. Like so sloppy and you know they spent a whole day setting up that shot.
Each thing on its own is nbd, but when there are numerous ones in each episode it really is jarring to watch. And that is just one layer of the criticisms I have about the show. I have sort of given up emotionally connecting with it and weirdly I enjoyed ep4 the most because I was just chuckling at all the errors and eye roll inducing things in the episode.
Reva is so bad at "acting" angry we have to make theories about her not even using the dark side haha.

You don't even need to know the leaks to know this. The story literally revolves around her and Disney can't have specific women as the bad guys.
How will it be done? Hopefully done at a good pace and logical but I can only hope.

Nah, if that’s going to happen, it will sound forced. In Jedi Fallen Order they made a great story around this, but here??? The only good things in Kenobi are Kenobi himself and Vader. That’s it.

I always said she should only be in a couple of scenes or an episode to tease her own series, not have her backstory and redemption arc play in a series about one on the biggest characters in the franchise.

From what we've seen in fallen order, inquisitors harbour intense feelings of either hate, sorrow, regret etc... The second sister had a tumultuous fallout with her master. These emotions are played upon in the creation of inquisitors. They have complex pasts that fuel their connection to the Darkside
One of the things I love about your channel is that right or wrong, you put original thought into your theories. You're not afraid to be completely wrong. That is the only way anyone can come up with theories that might actually turn out to be true.
There definitely has to be some underlying motive with her. She’s very meticulous about each task and has to be in control. So there’s definitely something more to it than being grand inquisitor.
Following this theory, maybe Reva tried to kill the Jedi on Tatooine against the Grand Inquisitor's orders so he wouldn't have a chance to talk and potentially give up more Jedi through torture. In this way she hides her true intentions with her brash and arrogant actions, leading the rest of the inquisitors and maybe even Vader to believe her actions are only about moving up in the ranks. I feel like the only possible reasons as to why Vader does not see this plot is because he is so focused on Kenobi, or he does know her true intentions and is playing the long manipulation game with her.
Yes, in order to save more Jedi, let's kill them so they can't talk. Sounds like a true hero to me and she will have all my sympathy in the end when the obivous lightside turn or dark side betrayal comes.

@@rylandmoreno6649 Yeah, she kidnapped a senator's daughter which the empire isn't suppose to do, disobeying orders by doing so. But they escaped soooo the only thing she accomplished was nearly killing the grand inquisitor and somehow she isn't punished at all for this. Also, this wasn't even really a good option because Kenobi could have easily said no to trying to rescue her because he is suppose to watch over Luke. The plan wasn't very good to begin with because the risks outweighed the small chance of Kenobi risking his life to save her.
Umm, not sure what the second time was that you are referring to. If you mean when she kidnapped leia again in episode 4. Well, they got away again sooo..yeah. She is definitely consistent in her failures. Only thing she "accomplished" so far was putting a tracker on the robot. Can't wait to see how ineffective she is next episode unless the writers stop making Vader look equally dumb by not just following Kenobi himself. It just doesn't make sense.

This is exactly what’s going to happen, and it’s just so bad. I’m sorry y’all but I’m the biggest obi wan fan I know and this show just has so many issues with the continuity. But then again, Disney stars seeks to destroy that continuity in favor of ideologies and politics so I repeat myself. Reva has literally cut peoples arms off and murdered people, kidnapped children, and is irredeemable
Then let me fill the spot for second biggest Obi-Wan fan you know, because let me tell you, this show has pissed me off more than the sequel trilogy and more than Boba Fett. These fill episodes grind my gears, and the problem is, they have so much to go off of yet they refuse to do it, and this cat and mouse game Obi-Wan is playing with Leia just makes the show that much worse, not to mention the fact that Reva seems to be getting more screen time than the master of Soresu himself. Absolutely horrendous.

The Jedi became very few, and the Sith became very few, practically equal in numbers, and what the Sith lacked in numbers, they made up for in power. He gets a pass because he was the Chosen One, who birthed a new era of the galaxy.

What’s also interesting is the character posters released for the show. The good guys have Vader in their eye, with the twin suns, and the villains have Obi-wan in their eye but if you look at Reva’s poster she has Vader in her eye not Obi-Wan, wonder why that is🤔
I'm not seeing anyone say this but What is the purpose of the tracker anyways and how would it help? Why would Kenobi and Leia's next destination be anywhere other than directly to Alderaan to take her home?
They’d have to make several hyperspace jumps to get back so I’m assuming they hope to catch them before they arrive. But Vader asked if she was sure the tracker was on “him” so if they make it to Alderaan I can see it backfiring on her and failing Vader “for the last time”

Well remember how in the sequal series Rey was able to defeat Kylo Ren pretty much as soon as she picked up a light saber. Same thing here; the logic of the world has been overtaken by the political agenda of the writers. In the last ep Reva kill most likely defeat Vader for the sake of who over she's been looking for, to show that a black women is actually more powerful than the most menacing character in the franchise.
I also feel she is going to turn. Would be interesting to see if GI is in a bacta tank some where in either Vader or Palp’s place. When she flips, GI goes to fight her while OW and vader fight.
I thought of something as well, ep5 should be the group heading to a meeting point with Bail and when they get there, QV is there. Then Reva shows up thinking it would be basically just a hampered OW. OW tries to fight Reva while QV has flashbacks to training Reva and eventually somehow convinces Reva to flip. Ep6 would then be the dual fights.

Your theory is further supported in episode 4 where Reva looks physically distressed and unwilling to put Leia through the torture device, even snapping at her when she refuses to speak the final time, but she does it anyway because she's chasing something far more important to her than her morals.

I actually rewatched the episodes up and till now and loving more of the story now. The annoyance of the lack of the backstory for Reva is now gone as she was playing her part excellently, opening up more avenues for her character. I think we are in for a surprise with her.
I have no clue how they're gonna save this in 2 more episodes. There's already so many plot holes and questions. Can't say I'd write any better but....feels like everyone has plot armor for zero reason at all

There are definitely hints in the writing thus far that portray the fact she might be playing both sides of the fence for some kind of personal gain. I’m pretty sure we will see a bit more of that flashback of her as a kid in episode 1. There is definitely something going on. Great vid man. 👍
When we first met Reva I got the vibe that the story was going to go the direction that she would turn against the empire. I’m up in the air how I feel about it. I’m going to wait and see how they handle it. I’m for it if it fits the over arching story. I don’t want it to be forced into it.
That has been my suspicion since the beginning.... I don't think she's faking it, but I think she has some "hang up" that is keeping her as an inquisitor. I fully expect her to turn to the light side and show up as a Jedi later on. I could easily see her staying in her role and showing up as a spy in the Andor series and/or meeting up with Ashoka for some training/meditation. Keep in mind that this show has been planting the seeds of the rebellion that we see in a New Hope. We're seeing an underground railroad, spies in the empire, even some of the ships that the rebels use later on. Leia will eventually become central to all of that, and they are showing this by putting her right in the middle of what the rebellion will eventually become.
One thing I've found is that RUclips channels like this give more breadth and depth to the SW world than Disney is seemingly is willing to, often. Theories and unpacking things has lead to dissapointment, time and time again.

We got two episodes left and we haven't seen any Anakin or Qui Gon or Luke. There's no time for Reva's story, I hope she's a stock villain so we can move on to what this series should be about.

would be really cool. what i would also like is if they made the empire a bit more threatening. we know the empire is this huge force of terror because they always tell us, but we almost never see the empire actually accomplish something or be, you know, actually threatening. this show and especially Rebels just portrayed them as bots, basically.
i get that our main characters can’t die right away, but idk man there should at least be some more casualties caused by the empire. i wanna look at the empire being a threat because they actually are and not, because the show tells me that they are
my theory is Vader or one of the Inquisitors puts Leia in mortal danger and Reva sacrifices herself to save Leia, maybe because she gets a flashback of herself as a little girl in danger in the temple or something, and doesn't want the same thing to happen to Leia. so she dies, and Ben realizes that it's never too late to turn away from the light.
It was really obvious in EP 4 that she did not want to torture leia, i don't think she is 100% committed to being an inquisitor & will revert back to the light given the opportunity.
This community is much more beautiful when it is interpreting what we are given as opposed to condemning the writers for not including the version the fans make up in their heads.

I don't really know why they've given Reva so much spotlight in the show. It's working in a closed timeline that already has a beginning and end. What can they really do with her character? It's really disappointing how Obi-Wan is in the backseat of his own show.
How is Obi-Wan in the backseat? She's the antagonist and he's the protagonist. They will obviously have equal screen time. Why in the world did you guys think Vader would be the main antagonist in the show? They clearly can't have the two interact too much without breaking canon.

Funny, I don't remember saying that about Vader. It would have made more sense to use the Inquisitors we already know instead of creating Reva. Seeing someone like the Second Sister would have been awesome and created more coherency in the canon, opposed to creating a new uninteresting and uniconic character which they are excelling at. Just my opinion of course but a huge amount of people see the missed opportunity in this show.
@@jamiegreyy Second sister is dead. This takes place 10 years after order 66. Fallen Order took place 5 years after order 66. Also, there's nothing wrong with introducing new inquisitors. Nobody complained when they introduced Second sister and Ninth Sister even though people wanted the ones from Rebels. The problem is you can't kill off inquisitors that are already introduced. That's why we know the Grand Inquisitor is alive. HIm being the main antagonist in Kenobi would've been boring because we know he can't die.

Fair point about Second being dead and knowing the Grand Inquisitor can't die (which goes for most of the characters anyway) but for me it just comes back to the point of new characters having to actually be good. The fact that Second & Ninth were well received even though they weren't initially wanted just reinforces that the people who made the game understand Star Wars more than the people who own it.

I totally agree with the fact that she will turn good because she’s showing a lot of hatred and violence because all she wants to do is impress Vader and she doesn’t care about the rest of the empire and at the end of eps 4 Vader was ready to kill her for messing up but because she secretly snuck a tracker on obi wans ship she redeemed herself. But I think she will be talked into turning good again by obi wan and listen but refuse and as she returns to Vader (not completing the mission) he will discard her as well as the rest of the empire and possibly try and kill her but somehow she will escape and decide to side with obi wan. She will stay even until the last moment and wait til either vader or any of the other inquisitors aren’t expecting it and try and strike them down and side with obi wan that way. Whether she will survive or not I don’t know

I have a different take on Reva. She was taken by the Jedi at a young age and always resented them for being taken away from her family. She's in a similar situation to Anakin which is why she was able to turn and join the inquisitors.
This might potentially explain some weird stuff with her putting a tracker on Lola. Cause why would she keep it a secret and only say something when Vader was about to kill her? Maybe she let them go so she could track her friend or whatever independently of the other Inquisitors and keep them safe. Idk though. Just a thought.

The biggest hint for Reva was in Episode 3, but it was before she got in to the safe house. Watch Reva’s face when Vader comes in and he starts hurting citizen bystanders. She visibly flinches when Vader hurts someone.
I don't like characters who become the main antagonist without some sort of build up in a time period with established villains. I wouldn't be against the Reva storyline if we knew the story. I could be more invested if we got a Reva series (even animated if needs to be) leading up to Kenobi. They could have focused on who she is, what drives her, and show her developing her strength.Then we could see her story play out with Kenobi's, but instead she is inserted into a story we have been wanting to see since 2005 (at least I have) and a lot of story time is being used to develop her character and not the two we all waited for.
Subverting expectations yet again
Reva is angry because she was forced to go to the Jedi temple when she showed force powers and Kenobi was the one who took her from her home and family. She never wanted to be trained as a Jedi. Then while at the temple, she got caught up in Order 66. She is an inquisitor to get revenge on the Jedi for destroying her childhood.
I agree. I don’t think she will want to help the rebels, but I do think she might be force into helping obi wan. The reason why I say this is because once vader finds out the grande inquisitor is alive and reva tried to kill him, he will either kill her or the grande inquisitor will. So I don’t think she wants to help obi wan, but I think she’ll need his help when Vader finds out she betrayed them. It’s far fetched but a 2v2 between obi wan and reva vs grande inquisitor and Vader could actually be pretty decent.
it was pretty obvious to me in the latest episode that she didnt want to hurt leia, when she said SAY SOMETHING before she was going to torture her it was like she didnt want to hurt her. and at the end when they escape I swear you can see reva smiling
My “theory”, if I can steal your name for a moment, is that she used to be married to Rogan. He is the manager of the path who complained about being married until the inquisitors found them. Great content!!
I’ve thought since beginning that she wants to get close to Vader to try and destroy him, which is why she was so keen on finding Kenobi ? Either way it’s just a shame that a good chunk of the story is about Reva and not Kenobi/Vader, but I hope that the last two episodes will be great and that the story will have a satisfying ending.

I think episode 5 shows us why. she's gonna play a huge role in Kenobi having to defend Luke now and the real threat of him being discovered thus further developing his character into the old Ben we know from the Ben in beginning the series who's more scared, and defeated. also, hopefully leads to it finally opening up communication with qui gon jinn.

They better start developing the character if they hope the community takes her serious. Else this character will be forgotten and possibly hated even more than it is now.
I think she specifically hates Kenobi for a yet to be revealed reason. My guess is she'll turn at the very end and sacrifice herself to allow the heroes to escape/win. It would really mirror Kenobi's sacrifice in IV, Vader in VI and Kylo in IX.

I know that we were all happy when Anakin turned back to the light because the moment felt earned by Luke's faith in his father, but in what regard has she shown any indication of this? The build up? It would be a conclusion without any pay off.
I said this two weeks ago. Writers lately want to make you feel one way about a character and then try to flip them to change how you feel about them.
It is so sweet that you are so optimistic about Disney Star Wars. I predict if Hayden is going to appear on Asoka, he is going to be brought down as they have Jake Skywalker and Jake Kenobi. Asoka will be the “greatest ever”.
