King and Queen Depart Coronation Service in Gold State Coach

- King Charles III and Queen Camilla depart Westminster Abbey following the end of the Coronation service. Their Majesties then began their procession towards Buckingham Palace.
The procession, formed of eight groups and supported by 19 bands, is being led by the Brigade Major of the Household Division, Lieutenant Colonel James Shaw of the Grenadier Guards, who is accompanied by four Corporal Majors of The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. Report by Iain Jones.
As an American who had the pleasure of living in England for many years, I couldn't be more honored to be witnessing this ultimate display of culture and history. The emotion that came over me when "Zadock the Priest" rung out was enormous. Then to be followed by the Armed Forces Royal salute! You could that His Majesty was full of emotion at times.
What a day!!! I only wish the weather had been better, but the ceremonies were still beautiful. Hugs to all in Britain and the Commonwealth from Michigan, USA! ❤❤

It looks precious and pompous, but I sure don't envy them for riding in that very uncomfortable 300-year-old vehicle. We all know how the Queen spoke about that painful carriage ride, and she was 50 years younger at her coronation. 🙈 Anyway, I hope they treat him well tonight.

Sorry Charles I didn't watch your coronation I do think you'll be a good king, but tbh I thought you were rude ignoring my letter when I poured my heart out over certain issues couldn't even imagine our former queen h.m queen Elizabeth ignoring a letter from me as you know we corresponded for 4 years. Which I do feel incredibly privileged and humbled by such an important lady writing to me and sending cards. I did receive a card from yourself after the tragic loss of your mama as I sent condolences to the household as I'm aware everyone will have been devastated 😢 but to ignore my letter I personally sent to you in January re many important things really threw me. But still I wish you all the best may you rule well kindest regards Stacey xox
