- First time playing a Dead Rising game since 2006 but is this Deluxe Remaster worth trying for new fans as well as old? maybe the censorship will get in the way for some people...a mini review of some kind.

The timer is and always has been the best part of this Deadrising, gotta get leveled and good to see the whole game
I ended up really liking it like I said but yeah every timer can put people off no matter what the game is, that's kind of just how it goes. Already seen that by Off The Record they made a mode without the timer.

Preferences change when we get older and have less time and energy for games. As for the woke stuff, I understand why some would rather not talk about it. It's why I keep the content across my channels (gaming and pop culture) strictly separate. 😁

Very well thought and unadulterated voicing of your experience in this game-- yeah I was surprised this game was even overhauled this well-- its very different from the original for sure.

Yeah putting old fans off seems like the wrong thing to do John mate.
I feel it's more to do with the outsourced developer being chinese and appealing to the chinese market.... Not DEI related but people have blown it way out of proportion.

I already get censored games living in japan, and I always have to pay extra to buy the USA version. Seeing that even some dialogues changed to not offend "modern" audience, made not buy this game. Good you liked it tho.

But its the same game, i wish dead rising had a remake like resident evil games, its a good “remaster remake” but still is the old dead rising, that for me, aged very bad
I really dug the gameplay, for sure going to visit Dead Rising 2 but I'm also certain they are going to make a new one.
