One of Snake Eater 3D's key features is the ability to create unique camos by using the camera or any images you have saved in your 3DS, meaning you can essentially create camo that can boost your camo index to 100% under the right circumstances. For example, in The Boss's fight, any picture that's essentially pure white can be used to hide in the flowers completely. Same if you have any picture that's green or brown in other environments, which you can use to straight up crawl past the guards. The 3DS version also lets you crouch walk and move while aiming, which the HD collection didn't have without mods for some reason.
@@Hero_of_Sinnoh Yeah the experience is an entirely different beast, mainly because the game uses Peace Walker's engine, so much of the control scheme and game feel is derived from it, among other psp and 3ds-centric features. However if you ever decide to give it a whirl, please find a 30fps mod.

The snake camo from the boss gives you a more or less consistent camo index reguardless of enviroment. Like spider without the stamina penalties, it's good at providing camos to enviorments you've yet to find the uniform for (or if you just want to spend less time changing camos).
