The trucker at 05:56 saying "that's alright" restored my faith in humanity for today. Edit: people have pointed out that cammer is at fault, I still think the reaction was great
True, but both were at fault... he was in a double left lane and went straight ahead. Even if he went left they likely would have collided.. give him 40% fault, the other car 60%
1:49:45 I'm 100% certain that this video was never shown to the police nor to the insurance company. It doesn't matter how fast the other car is going, the cammer clearly jumped in front of it.
The description clips be like: I woke up at 8:45 only to find that it was 9:45 due to daylight savings time. I headed to the kitchen and smacked my head into the door frame. I dashed to the entrance, noticed that I was hungry and grabbed a banana. As I headed out the door, my dog jumped on me and took my banana. I decided to get food on the way, so I hopped into the car,and ripped out of the driveway. I came to a left turn, and the opposing lane had a yellow light, so I started to turn. A guy decided to ram me on the passenger side of my car. ( It was not on purpose ) I got knocked out, and woke up in a hospital bed, my boss sitting in a chair in the corner. I said to her that it wasn't my fault that I got hit, But I was fired on the spot anyway. And then that other one: Roundabout confusion
1:10:38 "No reports from me as I didn't stop because I was headed somewhere important". Causes an accident by being unnecessarily courteous, than leaves without leaving footage. wow.
WATCH THE VEHICLE TIRES! Don't watch the vehicle. When the tires are turning into your lane u have time to back off the gas and slowly break. If the car beside you has a car in front of him and he's slowing down, expect the car to jump in your lane in front of you. Anticipate people driving into your lane. U turn ppl always seem to go right into your lane. Ppl exiting or coming on the highway look out for them give em room to get in.
@@kimberlycarrigan8824 💯! I drive the way daddy taught us: on highway people seem to drive in packs. No where to maneuver. Drive in the middle, a pack of cars behind and a pack in front. Love truck drivers. If in a bunch, stay behind them. About 2 car length. Most idiots won't cut in front of u. Truckers maintain perfect speed. U are in their drag so you drive using less gas as they stay a constant speed. When one pulls off try to get behind another one. This is only when in a bunch of traffic.
9:20 was a perfect example of drivers being in complete sync. The driver in the left lane quickly realized the driver behind the truck had no ability to be able to stop in time seen that he needed a place to go and let him over. This kind of defensive driving is the kind of driving that prevents serious collisions from killing people. People don't realize the amount of time and effort it takes to get a truck to be stopped completely from highway speed. My caps off as a driver and a big thank you for actually paying attention.
It's disencouraging to always give it your all behind the wheel, and each time you drive more carefully and slower due to risks you perceive or try to avoid supporting chaos in the traffic, there will be people pushing right behind you. Few days ago, on a slim street with parking cars on my side, I drove past them because no car coming. Few hundred meters paat that, there comes a car on its side, and luckily there are enough spaces between the parked cars to wait that out. I drive in a bigger space between parked cars, easily fitting 4-5 cars in length. Both I and the guy behind me took to the side, activating our turning lights accordingly. There was a woman behind the other guy who suddenly let her car scream and going as fast as possible right past us. Ended up with a near collision with oncoming traffic, and because 2 others prepared to follow her through, the slim street's progress was halted completely for multiple minutes, with multiple drivers even exiting their vehicles to argue. I keep having these thoughts about burning someone's license when they do these straight up idiotic things. Handling a car, you should be aware that you're driving a potential killing machine - act dumb or be reckless, and every minute on the street you're a menace.
@@__-tp4tmso true, if you fly your driving like the rest of the idiots but if you slow down they’ll run you over, it’s enough to make me want to move to the country where both cars and people are scarce 😆
At 5:40 (The incident begins at 5:27), that’s probably one of the best interactions I’ve seen. No one was hurt, nor angry, and the guy that was at fault held himself accountable.
I came here just to see if anyone else was going to say this before I did lol I totally agree; i love humble people; both of them were extremely understanding
humble for sure but also can see how since its a company truck and not a personal it might change the anger factor a little as well. maybe not though and with an older guy being that sorry and chill its gotta be hard to be mad at the man.
Exactly! There is a driving instructor in the UK who has a You Tube channel (Ashley Neal - check it out, really good examples and advice) who states this time & time again. be aware, slow down and hit your brakes rather than honking like a mad goose to "punish" the driver who commits an error. Many collisions/accidents are avoidable. Stay safe.
14:30- No wonder why it's your third accident, you freaking jerked the wheel to clip them since they cut you off. If you would have just tapped the brake you both would have been continuing with your lives.
I partially agree with you, but I also think that part of the reason they did that was because they knew the were going to get hit and didn’t want to get knocked in the wall, but it didn’t matter anyway.
@@GiravesExactly ! Those other people must have looked at a different video, as you can clearly see the initial contact of the blue vehicle with the other vehicle immediately caused its loss of control. The wheel “ jerked” because of the contact made by the blue vehicle .
Having a bigger vehicle does not mean more stopping power, it is in fact the opposite. The larger and heavier a vehicle is, the longer the stopping distance needed to come to a complete stop.
My drivers-ed teacher was very thorough in his lectures about being a "defensive driver". I have been able to avoid numerous accidents by following his teachings. I've been rear-ended several times but learned from each incident and haven't had a collision in over 15 years. When I see people driving fast when all the other lanes next to them are moving slowly, or vehicles in those other lanes are stopped, I see an accident that had the potential to have been avoided. I'm not saying all the parties in these accidents are to blame but treat other drivers as though they don't see you and/or are distract3d and it could save your life and vehicle.
This comment hit the nail right on the head. I'm extremely defensive when driving because of the countless times I've been run off the road, rear ended, and see every day that most drivers behind the wheel aren't actually paying any attention to their surroundings AT ALL! Those that are like us, are constantly swerving out of the way, slamming on brakes and redirecting when needed, and always looking AHEAD paying attention to EVERYONE, and NOT looking at the road itself but looking all around and far ahead to see any potential accidents or slow downs.
Beyond a doubt every driver on the road is criminally reckless and a danger to everyone on the road. Except me. 58 yrs. w/o a chargeable accident, 4 years as a professional driver.
37:07 OH YES HE DID signal... you were going to fast--I can tell from your exclamation and the TIME of your exclamation that you were not even paying attention to the road and did not realize that he had slowed down until it was too late for you to ascertain what was going on. You decided to try to pass on the left while he was turning left. 100,000% your fault. More so because of your immediately trying to place all blame on him.
@@officialuaaf You have to go frame by frame. Come visit me and I'll show you... other than that... check it out for yourself. This dude is going so fast and he's filming this with an etch-o-sketch, but you can still make it out.
@3:20 the cammer was doing 54 mph in a 30 mph zone (looks intentional so the driver on left cannot pass) and then states they have no liability for the causing an accident, lol... wrong.
1:52:25 You were not "sideswiped", you straight-up ran into the other car. You had loads of time to see that he was moving over, and all you had to do to avoid a collision was lift off the gas for a moment. Did you do that? Noooooo! You had to stay on the gas and drive right into the other car. This is 100% your fault.
36:27 after all these folks got hit, they all jumped out to check in the driver without even thinking. That's so awesome, I hope they are okay if it was a medical issue. Love my Texans...side note I want a Garmin dashcam, the clarity on that thing is amazing.
@3:03 Looks like the cammer and the other driver were racing, to some ends. The cammer's GPS read 54 MPH on a city street posted at 30 MPH. Plain lucky both weren't cited for reckless driving. Both are guilty of douchebaggery IMO.
2:41:06 - Honestly, I think the cammer truck helped save the other truck from having a worse accident by accidentally providing stability and support on the side the tire blew out on. I've seen other videos where a blowout like that leads the truck into hitting the grass hard enough at sharp enough of an angle to flip over. This is one of those cases where no one can really get mad at anyone because it wasn't caused by stupid driving.
Not at all lmao, there are two lanes that are being actively used, u can clearly see the tire tracks.. how is the truck supposed to anticipate the trailer to start swerving into his lane💀 the dude driving the trailer was just blindly following the semi. I wouldn’t be surprised if the guy with the dash cam is liable though
2:36:18 Cammer is an ¡d¡ot. Yes, the truck should have waited, but the cammer had almost 10 seconds to slow down or stop, and even the rear-view camera shows there was nobody behind him. Defensive driving is the correct way, but the egos are just too big for these drivers.
Hearing the at fault driver's confusion and apology at 5:42 would have totally disarmed me. I think I would've had a hard time getting/staying angry with him.
@@TheScrubmuffin69 uhhh the person in front of him is who was in the wrong! When the person in front of u humps up like that becuz THEY aren’t paying attention then you don’t have a lot of reaction time….he did right by what he did he didn’t have a collision
@@candilease938Look at how long it takes for him to get on the brakes when the car in front starts braking. The cammer wasn't paying attention and was following too close for the speed and road conditions. If you don't have a lot of reaction time then you're following too close.
@@candilease938 Even after the idiot in front of him swerves out of the way the cammer STILL doesn't brake right away. Useless tool and likely on his phone.

Forreal lol now that is how you handle an accident especially when the person admits it was their fault. I hate the people I see screaming at someone over a wreak after the person admits fault especially if its an older person.
You guys are fantastic! Thanks so much for great video and it was a perfect length! Before my niece started driving I’d use your channel as a teaching tool, as I think many of us do. However, I found that for as many years as I’ve been driving, your videos have made me a better and more cautious driver. I appreciate you very much for that! I didn’t realize how lax I’d become and that I tend to certain assumptions over and over again. My thanks!
12:34 - sorry but with as far out of that space as that truck got I'm more inclined to say the black car wasn't paying attention. that trucks whole bed was in the road when the oncoming driver hit him because he didn't want to stop.
Yep, black car should've been the one paying attention, because they didn't appear until a while after the truck was already backing up. Black car's fault.
2:46:20: “yes my son was speeding”. Uh, yeah, yeah he was. The lady making the left was definitely at fault, but your son was too. He was going much faster than the flow of traffic and changing lanes to go around other traffic while speeding. If your son wasn’t driving like a dickhead the lady either could have completed her turn or he could have slowed down quickly enough to avoid the accident entirely. I hope your son learned a lesson out of all that.
This is what happens when people don't think they are driving a lethal weapon. I actually almost got sideswiped on my way to work on the freeway. A truck I was driving next to started getting closer and closer to me and at first I thought it was me until I looked at his tires and they were literally coming towards me so I merged slightly to the right (he was coming from my left) and gently applied my breaks to get behind him instead and I come to find out he was on his phone when I looked through his window. 🤦♂️
He shouldn't have even been on the road. That is a dirtbike NOT a motorcycle. He is also wearing a dirtbike helmet. I don't know of any state that allows them unless they are the duel bikes, witch that is not!
3:00 Perhaps not 'at fault', but your childish behavior absolutely played a part in the accident. Let the idiots speed ahead and go on their merry way. Why act like as much of an idiot and cause accidents... put people at risk.. take value off your vehicle...
The one at 6:22 in Utah looks like the Mountain View Corridor. They were repaving all the intersections on it and it was a pain to deal with since I get to work via the Corridor. There was a bunch of accidents I think. There's almost always semis on it because the Corridor leads to a big Amazon facility and there's a big construction project on the same road. Lots of hills that makes the semis go slow and lots of people getting frustrated by that and trying to zoom around and end up doing something stupid.

TO THOSE WHO LEAVE GAPS: STOP IT! The driver is not helping drivers if there is another lane open. You are in their blind spot, cant see around you, and when they go into that next lane they get T-boned! I dont know why people do this on a 2 lane surface street. If one lane ok. But not 2 lanes. The one who leaves a gap should get a ticket for causing the accident.
Before I ever go forward into an intersection even though I have the right of way I ALWAYS look both ways to make sure it's safe. NEVER assume even though you have the right of way that it is safe. People are too distracted and those who drive recklessly need to have their drivers' licenses revoked. Parents, please make sure your kids LEARN to be a defensive driver. PLEASE make sure they put their devices away while driving. Kids think they are invincible, but we know all too well, one second mistake can be very costly.

it really surprises me how a lot of drivers don't understand why semis can't just stop like a normal car the semi wasn't distracted he wouldn't have been able to stop in time and made the better decision to try and move out of the way to prevent another accident.
I don’t know for their case, but I had a 2016 toyota tacoma and was hit. My grill, both headlights, and some of the radiator was bent, oh and fog lights. It was a little over 9k in damage. Inflation caused some high prices 😂
Oof, that hurt my soul when the cammer at 2:22:32 called the Corvette a Lamborghini. It also hurt my soul that it rear ended that truck. But misgendering the corvette hurt more. I guess the new C8's do have a lot more EDM influence as far as silhouette goes. But the silhouette lends itself more to a McLaren than a Lambo, imo
If you're having an anxiety attack you should probably put your vehicle in park, turn your hazard lights on and deal with it, whatever you have to do! But to say you froze up is bull!! You made a mistake thinking traffic ahead of you was moving because both lanes on each side of you were moving, and you gased it! If you were having a panic attack you recovered immediately from it as soon as you hit the car in front of you. You drove just fine following them where they stopped!! It was just a mistake!! It happens!!
Imma tell you something: after driving for over 52 years, if you dont: 1. Scan your eyes left right behind you and center as you drive, you will get hit. You must the minute you get in your vehicle until u get home, to drive defensively. There is no other way to drive. 2. Anticipate the drivers moves. Watch the tires not the vehicle. If they are rolling, creeping or moving they don't see you. 3. Always watch for vehicles that let ppl out of parking lots. There is a gap, someone is coming out. 4. When making a turn make sure no one is beside you ready to turn in your lane. If u have to slow up a bit watch them turn in your lane as their brain is in outer space and don't see you.
If the person in the turning lane going into the parking lot is not going, it's probably a real good indicator that you shouldn't try leaving the parking lot.
Lo mismo me pasó a mi (minuto 4:28), la conductora dió vuelta a la izquierda sin luz de flecha a la izquierda, yo venía del otro lado con luz verde. 3:07 - They were slightly ahead of you, but when you approached the light, you floored it so they couldn't merge over. IT is possible to share the road.
It doesn’t matter if they were “slightly ahead,” they made an improper lane change and they were going about the same speed anyway. It’s not the cammer’s fault the other person didn’t look over their shoulder and was impatient.
@@chandraann219 I think they are both at fault. It was an improper attempt at a merge, but the cammer was definitely racing the other driver just to keep them from merging. They were going about 50 in a 30 zone
@@chandraann219 Are you really defending the cammer? What about going almost double the speed limit? What about *not* being a d**k and having a little self preservation? What about not driving with an ego? If he was in the left lane he probably would've done the same thing I guarantee it. It wasn't he didn't look over his shoulder, it was that he couldn't let the cammer go ahead of him and vice versa
1:10:37 People like this driver are stupid, it's not your job to stop traffic in the middle of the road to let someone go when they don't have the right of way, stop thinking you're some kind of good samaritan. This type of thing causes accidents a lot of the time. If the driver just kept going they would have passed the car waiting to turn and wouldn't have blocked their path anyways, so there was no need to leave a gap, and the car behind you had every right to go around you on this two lane road because you stopped for no reason. Stop making up your own rules of the road, that other car will turn when it's clear for them. You aren't suppose to stop and block traffic for someone that doesn't have the right of way.
My biggest issue with some of these videos is the drivers leaving their working vehicles in the middle of the road. If your car can move, get it to the side of the road. Do not block traffic if you can help it.
I moved my vehicle getting side swiped at the demanding 911 dispatcher.... I got the ticket.... NEVER move the vehicle, take A LOT of pictures and video (dash cam)
not only that, but safety purposes, it is wise to move to a safe area as to not cause another accident or cause more harm to yourself or others involved in said accident.
@@helookalikaman79 I'm sorry that happened. No one should get a ticket for moving their vehicle to a safe area after an accident, especially if it's impeding the flow of traffic. Be safe out there.
1:50:04 they hit you? You didn’t make sure the lane was clear. 2:26:02 you couldn’t get info from the hood of the car. 2:42:43 you were speeding and he didn’t cut you off, you very well could have applied the brake.
Great video! The compilation was intense and really eye-opening. I appreciate how it highlights the importance of being vigilant and cautious while driving. It's a stark reminder that accidents can happen in an instant, and we all need to stay focused on the road. Thanks for sharing such valuable content!
10:22 the thing was you were speeding. if you had slowed down to the speed limit and maybe a mph or two down below that you wouldn't have broken bones im sure. drive safe next time. i hope whoever you are you get this comment and feel grateful it wasnt worse. stay safe out there to anyone that reads this.
@@hollowspike2337 that's because its hard to prove in court when it is within 5 mph, plus many variables exist that can throw you off, such as changing the type of tires you have, proper or improper inflation, etc. I had a friend do a speed check on me. I am showing up on radar as 5 mph lower than my speedometer says I am. So,, the legal MAXIMUM LIMIT is the fastest you are allowed to go. They just don't make a federal case out of it until your past the margin of error. So, don't be a douche.
Most of these accidents happen because of idiots not wanting to let someone cut in front of them. They could easily avoid the accident but try closing the gap, hitting the other car. And If they had time to hit the horn, then surly they had time to hit brakes but instead get stuck on stupid.
Have to love when in 80% of these clips, it is mentioned that the timestamp and date are incorrect. Doesn't anybody realize you need to set the time on these, just like you're microwave...
you should keep a good following distance between cars even if it isn’t snowing, the reason why most traffic jams happen is because people don’t leave enough space in between cars and refuse to merge
I swear, after the two hour mark, 75% of these people are totally responsible for either the accident itself, or for failing to avoid an accident that they clearly could have avoided.

I hate when people do that. They create a blind spot.
Right? That why I don't drive next to people. They can swerve into my lane at any time.
Brake
@@kimberlycarrigan8824💯. How many times have we ppl try that move? Ugh.
Yeah, unfortunately most people hate having people pull in front of them, and want to have a rage fulled dick measuring contest over it.

If You would hit brakes instead of the horn 90% of these are easily avoided
Stay safe.

Having bigger vehicles cant make you stop faster, bigger brake does
My drivers-ed teacher was very thorough in his lectures about being a "defensive driver".

Imma tell you something: after driving for over 52 years, if you dont:
