@ 1:22:42 When towing a trailer, NEVER APPLY THE BRAKES IF THE TRAILER STARTS TO "DANCE"!!! Instead, GENTLY apply the gas...this will pull the trailer back out straight. Applying the brakes only makes the trailer sway from one side to the other on the hitch.
It looks like : (1) He didn't secure the load in the trailer. The icebox shifted to the back, unbalancing the trailer making it more prone to swaying, as well as raising the front up. (2) He braked because the car in front of him slowed down. i.e. He was following too closely for towing. (3) The trailer seems to have popped off the hitch ball (possibly due to the icebox shifting), and is only connected to the tow vehicle by the safety chains when it starts swaying. He may not have crossed the chains, but it's tough to tell.
@@solandri69 The trailer should never pop off the hitch for any reason. When I load my tractor onto my car hauler, it virtually picks the back end of the pickup off the ground unless I put jack stands under the back of the trailer to hold the weight.

57:15 "Buick was turning left at an intersection while I was going straight..." Yeah, you're correct about going straight, but you forgot to complete the sentence. Let me help you! "I was going straight...through a red light!" Yes, the Buick was turning late also on the red, but he/she was already in the intersection making sure there were no douchebags going straight through the red light so they could turn safely. But then some moron went straight....through he red light. Remember, a dashcam can be a tool for both parties and not just you're selfish behind!
Was looking for this comment. Technically he might have just crossed the line with his front tires as the light turned red so not sure how his insurance company would twist that. Still he had plenty of time under orange to come to a stop but was clearly trying to beat the red light. In my country he would definitely be found at fault.
This comments section is actually really scary. Hopefully none of you have your drivers license because you're all wrong. This is undoubtedly the buicks fault. He is the one turning left on an unprotected green therefore he must always yield to oncoming traffic. Just because he has his turn signal on and hes out in the intersection doesnt magically give him the right of way. The person going straight has the right of way always. Doesnt matter if the light is yellow or if they're speeding.. they have the right of way. That Buick should have waited until after cammer cleared the light and then either made his turn or back up. I've had to reverse back into the turn lane many times because I wasnt able to safely make my left turn. The only time a left turn has the right of way and doesnt have to yield is when it's a protected left but that obviously wasnt the case here.
The light was definitely yellow, not red. But even if it was red, the buick shouldn't have been trying to turn. If he didnt have time to make it, he should have stayed put.
After sitting through 5.30h of road accidents I got couple of questions to my American friends: 1. Are traffic lights some sort of a suggestion? 2. Is being "distracted" while driving a valid legal defence? 3. How much does the car insurance cost?
1. it's only illegal if a cop is there, but we could fix that by allowing citizens to collect bounties for submitting videos 2. distracted sounds better than intentional crash 3. not bad if you aren't responsible for a bunch of accidents/several traffic tickets 4. we have no required driver training/education just need to pass a multiple choice test
Generally speaking, Slawomir, 50% of American drivers are entitled, selfish assholes, that don't care about anyone other than themselves and their all-important destinations.
49:49 i am so glad that people that brake check are now being held accountable for their bs moves when an accident results, as too many of these useless entitled people have been getting away with this sick behaviour far too long.

Clip #71: Me watching it - this would be a great time for the cammer to use his horn for once in these compliations, to warn the other driver of an issue. Cammer - Verbally, where it's absolutely no good to anyone: "Whoa, whoa, whoa!"
1. Indicator lights are to signal that a turn may happen soon, they are NOT permission to turn whenever you want. 2. Get off your phones. 3. When turning left on coming traffic must be completely clear, don't just throw yourself in front and hope for the best. 4. Get off your phones. 5. STOP signs are for stopping not flying through. 6.Get off your phones. 7. RED light mean stop 8. Get off your phones.
#7 - 2:07 - This kind of driving is _endemic_ in the Seattle/King County area (includes Factoria) - people making left turns cut way way way short, frequently driving right over the left-most lane of the cross street they're turning on to. You'll see it multiple times on a trip to or from the grocery store, not to mention longer drives like going to work.
This is why I NEVER turn into a blind lane when cars stop to let me turn. I shake my head 'no' at them when they stop to let me turn. The blind lane will never see you.
I leave gaps for people if they are turning right to join our lane or the other lane if it is safe. If someone is trying to turn left in heavy traffic nope. That gap will not appear.
Idiots in Cars is a stark reminder that no matter how careful you are, you can't control the actions of others on the road. It's a chaotic world out there.
1.40.45 An attentive driver sees the semi is blinking to the right, so a good driver takes notice of this and takes gas back. For yr info: NEVER try to pass a semi at the right side.
Dude said "Lesson Learned: Always leave space" as he was constantly riding the range rover even when it had brake lights on. "I did not expect a sudden stop" as, once again, brake lights were lit up before serious braking even occurred. 41:10 Terrible cammer driver. Camping the left lane and then thinking people are idiots for passing him on the right. Yes, driving in the left lane is easier for that person, but harder for everyone else as the left lane is supposed to be a passing lane. Driver who wrecked is terrible driver as well, but that is obvious by how he could not anticipate or slow down when he and other car changed lanes.
People that lie to the cops and are proven liars by dashcam should have their licenses revoked for 10 years. Same for people that do hit and runs. Accidents happen, take responsibility for them. If you are not a trustworthy road user, you shouldn't be on the road.

I would be swearing too if some idiot endangered my life through his own negligence.
It looks like :
(1) He didn't secure the load in the trailer.
1:42:54 was brutal. Sedan driver probably had life changing injuries from that.
I would said most definitely with how fast the truck was moving and the impact being on the drivers side door
I agree and that idiot police driver probably did the same to the people they hit 🙄 now I see how people ARE killed by idiots out of control with too much Power and not many observation skills.
O
Dude was racing the red light and caused the accident. Fault should have been 50/50
This comments section is actually really scary.
11:12 “I saw the sign” - he saw the sign to get the F out of the way before that big Tahoe came barreling down the back of his car!
After sitting through 5.30h of road accidents I got couple of questions to my American friends:
1. Are traffic lights some sort of a suggestion?
2. Is being "distracted" while driving a valid legal defence?
3. How much does the car insurance cost?
1. it's only illegal if a cop is there, but we could fix that by allowing citizens to collect bounties for submitting videos
2. distracted sounds better than intentional crash
3. not bad if you aren't responsible for a bunch of accidents/several traffic tickets
4. we have no required driver training/education just need to pass a multiple choice test
Generally speaking, Slawomir, 50% of American drivers are entitled, selfish assholes, that don't care about anyone other than themselves and their all-important destinations.
1. 🤣
2. Absolutely not !
3. Too much !
11:18 bro literally almost got smashed like a bug 😭
god if he was distracted for even a second more, game over 😭 thats nuts
49:49 i am so glad that people that brake check are now being held accountable for their bs moves when an accident results, as too many of these useless entitled people have been getting away with this sick behaviour far too long.
It took me 25 minutes to realize this was a 2 hour long video and not a standard 10 minute video lol. I'm a simple person, when I see megadrivingschool, I click
Clip #71: Me watching it - this would be a great time for the cammer to use his horn for once in these compliations, to warn the other driver of an issue.
Cammer - Verbally, where it's absolutely no good to anyone: "Whoa, whoa, whoa!"
From this video, I learned a new, useful (at least, it will be, to me) internet acronym. I, never, had encountered, prior, "smh." Thank-you!
LOL i love that there was a clip from Rockwall, TX on I30
7. RED light mean stop
4:36 I absolutely love the fact that the people with the dashcam were talking about SpongeBob before they were rear-ended lol
Stark reminders of road safety; stay vigilant, drive cautiously.
Another great video. Thanks once again and a big congratulations 🎉
I think I’m just gonna walk everywhere when it starts snowing at this point
@56:55 where was the person running to in a hurry? I thought she was headed to help the person in the Altima; however, she kept going.
Probably running after the dog
Ong i was thinking this
If a bird poops on your car it is $1,200 according to insurance lol
What does it say about me that I watch these videos to fall asleep?
I watch these after taking insurance claims all day.
There must be something seriously wrong with US driver education and testing.
No, the Driving Education system is completely fine. It's the people that are the only true issue.
26:13 😂😂😂. She said "bad accident!" 😂😂😂
I couldn't stop smiling throughout the entire video. Instant karma is the best karma! Thanks for sharing this awesome content!
5:16 “it’s your fault anyway!” i would’ve LOST it
If you see the pole get hit and the lines are all shaking, stopping under them may not be the best idea.
Great video
12:42 why is the cameraman blaming the jeep 💀💀
Dude said "Lesson Learned: Always leave space" as he was constantly riding the range rover even when it had brake lights on. "I did not expect a sudden stop" as, once again, brake lights were lit up before serious braking even occurred. When I am driving and I see brake lights I immediately put my foot near my brake and slow down with everyone else to maintain distance. Cammer was just an idiot thinking a camera makes him invincible to any fault.
Total idiots in car videos are my favorite. Thanks for making them!
5:38 .. poor palm tree lol
It took me 25 minutes to realize this was a 2 hour long video and not a standard 10 minute video lol. I'm a simple person, when I see megadrivingschool, I click
It blows my mind how many people just drive away from the scene.
Interesting, I was noticing during a lot of the videos how many people ran to help or stopped. Respect to those.
Great video!
I always like to keep room between my car and other cars, the more the better.
16:00 literally turns into the altima
1:17- there was someone merging that didn’t yield, so the semi came into your lane. 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I admit it I likes speed but I won't do it on the roads & yes I'm not the perfect driver in the world I admit I make mistakes too!
haven't had a wreck in years! Plus these vids have helped me be more aware of my surroundings when I drive
9:00 ALWAYS HELPFUL TO BECOME HYSTERICAL AND SCREAM FOR NO REASON
Please, please, please, leave the descriptions up longer !!!! Give us time to read them, if you are going to write them.
Just pause to think for a moment, or is it think to pause for a moment. Either way works.
l love how i personally saw a couple of these in colorado
35:03. That’s a lot of words just to say you were going way too fast on a snow-covered road on a curve, going downhill.
LITERALLY. "Rather than seeing if we were okay, the semi driver instead shouted profanities at us" um yeah YOU caused the accident he's allowed to be angry at you.
"We knew the driving conditions were not great but proceeded to drive like they did not exist"
I love seeing it happen
21:58 the bystander’s headshake made me cackle
Epic crashes, intense moments! Year's most shocking accidents!
11:10 that guy needs to buy a lottery ticket
26:59 I guess the FOUR stop signs with added "Cross traffic does not stop" signage just wasn't enough for this guy to understand.
i like when i see roads i have actually been on and in NYC i can see stores sometimes ive been in---its dangerous out there
8:50 good taste in music my man
Put this on in the background while cleaning, right as I look back to the screen I see a submission from my home town lol.
If you miss your turn. You’ve missed your turn. Don’t hold up traffic. Don’t back up. Don’t change lanes at the last second. Go further and turn LEGALLY and go back to where you WANTED to go. My god people
The ice sheet through the window was a bit PTSD inducing. While stationed in Germany a guy was decapitated under the same situation.
respect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love our
41:10 Terrible cammer driver.
By watching so many car accidents, I conclude to myself that there are many blind people driving on the roads.
The 'Idiots in Cars' compilation is like a crash course in common sense. Unfortunately, it seems like some people missed that class, as evident in the 'Idiots in Cars' compilation
I was in the red truck at 1:34:57. It hurt pretty bad. I had a torn rotator cuff from the accident. I'm still recovering.
Nah bro was included in this 💀💀💀💀💀💀
Video at 35:07 in North Charleston, SC there is a no left turn sign because of what people try to do although they wont put one of the island dividers there to stop them. They’ll still do it regardless
Yup. Worst shopping center design ever. Developers could have installed right turn only intersection as well.
11:04 insaneee
Its brakes people, brakes for the love of fruit loops!
OMG……thank you……I yell at my iPad every time I see someone spell it that way. I’ve lost my voice a couple times watching these videos!
24:13 - Him trying to change the radio station was probably the truth. Those Acura's had a billion buttons, and could easily distract a new driver. Still wasn't safe.
thank you!! like i understand that he deals with aggressive drivers, but saying “we all know that’s bs” about him saying he was changing the radio and automatically assuming he was texting is unreasonable and rude
Im a very new driver, as in havent had my license for even a month yet and Ive made some mistakes as any new driver will and it stresses me out and I worry about drving because of it. Then I watch videos like this and I realize, I'm amazing at driving in comparison to some of these guys and it calms me down realzing that Im not half as bad as I could be lol
So many of these cammers don't even appear to make an attempt to avoid an accident.
My thing is so many of these hit and runs not being investigated by police because there were "no injuries" or "you didn't stop to file a police report". Like go after these people! Do your damn job! Don't excuse this insolence, especially if there's video footage!
43:20 "i couldnt even brake" no, you were going to stop but decided to let go of the brake for some reason
LOL! 11:08 "I had pulled over to get a bag of trash, while putting on my vest..." He failed to mention the beautiful lady pulling in behind him in the red corvette! LOL... it was trash alright he was pulling over for!
45:14 That's weird, you break every rule of the road and someone gets hurt Baffling
