This might have been the first ever domino screenlink in RUclips, if not the first one ever. Even after years of searching, I have not found an older one. If that was true, then maybe the Kinetic King might have been the inventor of one of the most important concepts in the domino hobby. It's sad that he died; I remember seeing his videos when I was just starting to build dominoes back in 2011. I miss his immense creativity, that revolutionized this domino hobby and made its horizons broaden.
"WTF!!" Now stands for "Wow, Tim Fort!!" That was amazing, I wish I had your patience and creativity. Damn, I'm impressed. I was in suspence at the 3:15 mark. If this was all one take, I'm even more impressed. Bravo!
Back wehn I was a kid, I used to do this sort of thing, only just with dominoes, legos and domino props made of Legos. Seeing this makes me want to do it again. Thank you.
That was way more impressive than anything he did on AGT. I was shocked and saddened today to learn of his passing. I loved how excited he got when his creations worked. RIP
Repeatedly did I think "IS THIS REAL?!?!" Your patience is staggering. I couldn't possibly conjure up something of this magnitude for even a few seconds. Congratulations for accomplishing something so incredible!
This was absolutely incredible! The musical bottles, dominos, stick bombs, imaginitive time-delays, the baloons, the spinning things, the animated images... Countless cool kinetic effects jammed into one video! Thank you for creating things like this, and thank you for sharing them!
3:54 is my favourite bit - when the pic looks animated. So much work went into this it's hard to imagine! Love how it all goes mad at the end. Great video.
My lord but that's amazing. I can't imagine how much work it must have taken to design this AND set it all up! There's so much about it to like, but I particularly like the swirls of falling dominoes (near the beginning), the balloons, and the "moving pictures." So very clever.
Clearly the work of a madman! ;o) Tim Fort, you are living proof that patience is a virtue. I was completely engaged start to finish - laughing and gasping and exclaiming "no way" the entire time.
you have some true skills... i see the reason it was called "art" this truly is a masterpiece of modern art, movement and too much free time... keep up the good work
man, i favorited this video like years ago. i'm browsing through all my favorite again. (350 videos) and i forgot how awesome this was. I still have yet to see something better.
i almost stopped viewing in the first few minutes... then, when things other than dominos started falling and clattering, i just had to finish watching. and i am so glad i did!! loved it!!!
@mill3rtime420 Thanks, mill! This was actually filmed in a small studio in New York Mills which is why I had to use different set-ups. 4:38 is just a strip of waxed paper from a temp job I had...
@SHExxLIKESxxBARINAS Don't blame me for the sound lag--that happened on RUclips's end. Besides, I have an improved version of this video uploaded so look for it...
You deserve a second chance, King! I'm hoping with all of my might that they bring you back for Wild Card Week! You definitely deserve it. Your contraptions are amazing and unique.
@bluenougat The audio is properly synched in the original video and was properly synched on this version when I first uploaded it in 2006. I have no clue as to why the sound is off other than guessing that the software that RUclips uses has some sort of bug. Good to see you found the improved version of this video as that seems to work properly...
that was fantastic! your patience must go through the roof! the exploding pow was great too. its a very interesting form of art actually, i never really thought about it, makes knocking over normal dominoes look like rubbish.
That was a good combination of different things, dominoes, stick bombs, all sorts of stuff to keep it moving from one thing to the next. Lots of creativity too.
that was the most amazing thing i've ever seen. you must have one strong imagination. this is my first video of your's that i have seen but i must say you should win an award. keep up the good work!
It's the coolest thing I've ever seen. I can't believe how fast you did it and how perfectly you pulled off the video. Here's my request: make a special domino that stands back up so I can see it again. :) Good luck with that one ;)
@lin144 This actually took a lot less time than it appears--maybe two weeks' worth of 8-hour evenings. Ironically, I probably spent more time in New York Mills going on BBQs and socializing with the local artists than I did working on this video...
This was truly awesome, really cool, long peace of art, well done. It might have been over i just over six minutes, but it had hours of grueling work an test behind it. Maker would deserve a trophy, of somekind. This was the coolest and longest domino -effect and biggest use of intellect, i have ever seen. How ever made that to work so good an awesomely, is truly a mastermind of domino effect. What else can i say? Really awesome video, hard work definetly paid of.

i feel your pain
Yeah, it’s quite sad. But he gave many a life in return, in the form of the hobby of knocking over Dominoes
R.I.P Tim, you brought me so much joy as a kid. May you rest well in heaven.
"WTF!!" Now stands for "Wow, Tim Fort!!" That was amazing, I wish I had your patience and creativity. Damn, I'm impressed. I was in suspence at the 3:15 mark. If this was all one take, I'm even more impressed. Bravo!
RIP Tim, never forget, you were one of the first RUclips I ever watched.
No matter what I say, I think that it would be an understatement of how incredible this was.
I remember this was one of the first rubes I ever watched and watching it over and over, I liked it so much
+Sirgabealot G thanks
Thanks, James! This only took me a month to make--I don't know if that qualifies as a 'long time' or not :)
Kinetic King this was so cool
This is without a doubt one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
Absolutely mind boggling. Fantastic work. Great vid. Thanx for sharing it with us.
Back wehn I was a kid, I used to do this sort of thing, only just with dominoes, legos and domino props made of Legos. Seeing this makes me want to do it again. Thank you.
Absolutely incredible. I liked the "POW" bit, and the horse running, etc. My goodness, such imagination, thank you for that 6 minutes and 10 seconds.
That was way more impressive than anything he did on AGT. I was shocked and saddened today to learn of his passing. I loved how excited he got when his creations worked. RIP

I love the bit with the ball bouncing off the wall.
Dudde this is amazing!
Now that's patience to set that whole thing up. I would have given up after an hour! Props for that. Very unreal!
Clearly the work of a madman! ;o) Tim Fort, you are living proof that patience is a virtue. I was completely engaged start to finish - laughing and gasping and exclaiming "no way" the entire time.

The herringbone is definitely unique. When I first saw it, I was so impressed
Pure genius!
I had no idea there were more kinetic chain reactions than just the plain old dominos.

I really like this, esp. the sounds it makes. Nice with no music. I hope you make a lot more.

@gibsonrocker63 To be fair, the video quality is pretty low, but I have a new-and-improved version of this video on RUclips...
For starters, I had fun making this. On top of that, I have a video that will be around for a lot longer than six minutes...
