Kudos to Jeff for not being afraid to talk about this stuff. I'm glad to see him back in the scene and not letting idiots and trolls get under his skin.
Life after Deth. So cool that we can have an alternative version of Megadeth, playing those songs we all know and love. Tons of respect for those former members. \m/
@Metacashica and Pennytera Best Megadeth album is "So Far So Good So What." And Jeff's solos in there are epic and creative. Marty Friedman's era, except for Rust in Peace, is very fucking boring and commercial.
That's awesome, the message is real. I find as I'm older and playing certain riffs or solos (no matter the genre) it can be extremely emotional experience just in my living room
I've watched a few videos and the guy's seem like they're having a great time on stage playing all the classic/iconic songs. Kinda bummed that Gar is gone , that would have been the tits to have him back on drums. Best of luck to them all and hope they come to South Florida at some point.
He's so cool. That's a great idea playing KIMBBG and SFSGSW in their entirety , also I like that table top valve amp on the right next to his shoulder there.
Only have read his quotes on Loudwire but it seems like Young is being cool about this. I remember during one of the Greatest Hits releases Mustaine gave him props and then when Young dropped his solo stuff he went off Mustaine in an obvious, and sad, PR move. Kind of funny too how no one outside of Megadeth has been able to use their own song writing chops or vision to accomplish much...Speaks volumes that they are happy to get on stage and play music and make money off the vision of someone they've all talked shit about. I keep saying the same thing...Mustaine is no angel, but he's not always wrong either...
Yes,Jeff young is the same Type like Dave, talk tons of shit about him and 30 years Later in every interview he talk about megadeth, like Dave with metallica 😂 but the Different is Dave moved in and Formed his succesfull Vision of Music and youngs only success is this Megadeth Record. He reached NOTHING on his own way.
I'm smiling as I watch this because the encore was such a cool surprise! Also, I'd love to hear this lineup play those three Rust songs. That'd also be bad-ass. ...And the new originals. Great interview by the way.
Just saw them Tuesday. What he says about the drummer and lead singer are spot on. He's isn't exaggerating one bit. Drummer is a beast and singer is awesome on those songs and like he says - has a Dimebag Darrell stage presence.
I'm glad it isn't just me who finds Megadeth hard to play.😂 Hearing him talk about the effort required and the guys who can't do it anymore makes me feel human and less inadequate.😂 I could play it better 35 years ago but today I'm just not as fast. Saw a few videos of KoT performing, they sound really good except for the vocals. The guy is too good a singer for Megadeth material, it loses something when sung well. I'd still go see them if they played anywhere near me though, those first 3 albums are Megadeth's best material for my tastes and Chris Poland kicks ass.
we hope in a next future interviews with tommy victor(prong),peavey(rage),shortino,lizzy borden,bobby blotzer or juan croucier,don dokken,lynch or pilson,phil soussan,bob daisley,scott ghorham,vanderberg,impelliteri,neil carter(ufo),queesryche,michael monroe,tate,jeff annihilator,,corabi,etc.Thanks!
Nothing wrong with appreciating the music. Megadeth have some amazing songs that get ignored by Dave. Jeff has a had a career, you think he's just popped into existence now?
Hmmm sounds very similar to one Dave Mustaine. Was in Metallica for less than a year I believe, but yet has been incapable of moving on for the past 40 years now.
I took guitar lessons from Jeff at GIT in 2006. Super cool dude, and a hell of a player.
Kudos to Jeff for not being afraid to talk about this stuff. I'm glad to see him back in the scene and not letting idiots and trolls get under his skin.
I hope they're able to record one of the shows in good quality. Wish I could make it to their concerts

Perfect album name Kings of Thrash presents Life After Deth 🤘🤨🤘

@@raygunn4392 Yoooo, that'd be fucking hilariously perfect.
Great interview. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Thank you for watching!

Jeff is a cool guy, nice to hear stories from him 🙌
52:30 he gets down to why he is no longer with MegadetH. P.S. I believe Jeff Young
Seems so diplomatic but I wasn’t there. Great story and fascinating to say the least. Rock on!
Thanks for letting him talk, it's great to hear an interview where the subject gets to talk at length.

Jeff Young talked so much shit on David Ellefson last year and said he would never play metal again ha ha ha and here he is
this interview was amazing thank you so much
Can't wait to hear Skull Beneath, Peace Sells, hopefully My Last Words, Anarchy, Into the Lungs of Hell, Hook in Mouth.
Love what you all are doing.
He's so cool. That's a great idea playing KIMBBG and SFSGSW in their entirety , also I like that table top valve amp on the right next to his shoulder there.
The nuggets about stage fright and the real purpose of the music were priceless. Thanks!

@@garryaldridge7325 if he isn’t beheld to the 9 to 5 life and dealing with a boss, then Jeff has made it and big.
@ChristIsKing that prog band that Chris did with Nick Menza is actually a decent band, but it is niche music and never gonna sell out stadiums.
I'd give anything to have the KIMB stem files!
Awesome
this sounds awesome

Nice interview.
Jeff Young is such a balanced soul, I'm glad I heard this interview
I wonder why Chuck Behler was not involved on drums, he's still living in Detroit, and Dave Effelson has played with him in the last few years.
He has health issues that make it hard to play
i would love if you could interview david too
59:00 We ALL KNOW he's talking about Chuck, right??
Kings of Thrash is such a great idea. Mustaine has thrown so much talent away that it's awesome to see those guys get together.
So far so good was my favorite Megadeth album
Man… where can I buy a Randy Rhoads T-Shirt like Jeff’s????
I would love to see that show. No way it can be anything but badass.
Looking forward to seeing 3 of my favorite guitarists playing Megadeth again.
Just saw them Tuesday. What he says about the drummer and lead singer are spot on. He's isn't exaggerating one bit. Drummer is a beast and singer is awesome on those songs and like he says - has a Dimebag Darrell stage presence.
Megalive after megadeth

Lol is Poland gonna play Liar?
😂
It's a shame Jeff didn't stay with Deth. He is an amazing guitarist but i figure drugs have a lot to do with it.

"I felt bad, but I didn't know him that well." Lol

Like with Metallica, I only like the early Megadeth albums, so I would rather see the Kings of Thrash rather than Megadeth now.
Kiko is an amazing player, he does a great job of the Marty era stuff.
Yeah, Dirks drums are always way too quiet in the mix
Was part of megadeth for such a short period of time but still trying to live glory days. Move on my dude.
Eh I'm cool with it
Nothing wrong with appreciating the music. Megadeth have some amazing songs that get ignored by Dave. Jeff has a had a career, you think he's just popped into existence now?
Lol. He doesn't need your advice or disrespect.
Hmmm sounds very similar to one Dave Mustaine. Was in Metallica for less than a year I believe, but yet has been incapable of moving on for the past 40 years now.
You talks like Virgil Donati
