They filmed this at a rock quarry north of Tokyo, designated a national treasure sight now. I got to see these ladies twice on the 2022 US Tour, Phoenix and Dallas, and it was worth every penny! When you see them it's not just a concert, it's a involvement experience like no other! They give energy to the crowd and the crowd gives energy to the Maid's! When the tour closed in Chicago, Miku promised the crowd Band-Maid would come back to the US, so keep your fingers crossed for 2023!

I've seen two of the bands you mentioned, Nightwish and Jinjer, and they were great, but I'd trade them and even more in in a minute if I only had a chance to see Band-Maid 🙂
I so do hope they'll come back to Europe again next during their 10 year anniversary.
Hey Anastasia, I say them at the Fillmore, outside Washington, D.C. with 2100 other fans going crazy. They sounded so much better live then their studio recordings. As others have said, they just dropped a new instrumental that is seriously heavy and I think you will love. Enjoyed the reaction and have a good one.
It's been Hunky Dory Days for USA fans, that's for sure! A live Band-Maid experience is not to be missed, if at all possible! Thx, Anastasia!
Location is a decommissioned granite quarry in the Ishikiri Mountains, Ibaraki from 1909 era that produces the "Inada" stone or "white lady" stone because of its white luster, strong and durable, like Band Maid, Po! Also, Japanese origin - "Honcho-dori" was the "Main Street" in Yokohama (same area Band Maid had their 2021 Christmas concert). Story say the American sailors, during the late 1800, were directed to follow this road back to the ship. Therefore, "easy street" to get back to the ship after liberty. Most likely pronounced by the sailors as "Hunky Dory." Btw, check out the lyrics, its on point about the influencing culture, Po! 🦍🍌

You should have gone, I took my daughter and she was so amazed how powerful they played and how tiny they all were. We had the pleasure of standing right in front of Kanami 10 feet away from her. We attended the Phoenix show and scooped up tickets the day they came out.
I'm going to the L.A. show of Nemophila in March and the waiting is killing me.
This video was filmed here: 石切山脈 . You can search for 石切山脈 in your maps. It's about 133 km north of Tokyo. It's the Ishikiri Mountains, one of the largest quarries in Japan. And thank you for another great Band-Maid reaction.
I made it to the October show in NYC, I was able to snag a ticket on Stubhub about 3 hours before the show for just $25!!!! Was a great show, and I agree, if Lovebites makes it to the city, it is a must-go. See you there!
Hello @Anastasia Luna,, The best way to buy tickets is to join the fan club. It costs very little and has preference in the purchase. And for sure Band-Maid, Nemophila and Lovebites will come to the US soon, because they are all signed to Live Nation. In fact, virtually every female band that's booming is signed to Live Nation. Cheers!

I think you would really enjoy their new instrumental; they dropped a video for it a couple of weeks ago. I don't want to give away too much, but it is guitar heavy. The title is "From Now On." I hope you are having a great day!

I third that! Actually, they played it a few times on the recent tour as well, and watching Kanami shred up close is just mesmerizing.
I'll second the third for a fourth. In Dallas, "Influencer" was followed by "from now on", "Rock in Me", "Sayonakidori", and magic spell time (which involved singing Happy Birthday to a particular small pigeon. "from now on" is mesmerizing in person.
I had an extra ticket. In fact, there were people with extra tickets in almost every venue. Our close knit community had extra tickets AND VIP. Too bad no one communicated with you to get you a ticket. Hell, I was giving mine away free. Damn, this makes me sad. You missed an experience.

Actually, I agree. Not smart or diplomatic. Compare to doing a review about the soccer team Inter, and the preface spend a lot of time on how much you love Juventus. Wouldn't think you'd be hugged by Inter fans in the streets the next day.
Of course, she can say what she wants on her own channel, just like us in our comments. Of course, provided we stay within decent limits.
In her defense, she is human...enough said.
Plus RUclipsrs are not as tightly bound by requirements to be objective as journalists. The question is whether most people even want them to be.
Lastly, we know she really likes Band-Maid, but Lovebites a little more. Equaled by the opposite of other RUclipsrs.
@@jagjag3236 I get your point, but your comparison to football is like apples and oranges. Sports teams are competing each other on a professional level, in championships and for titles and a lot of money. That is not what, specifically these, music bands do. There's room for all of them and it just happens that some people like one more than the other and some like even both. Also very rare in football 😉

When it comes to competition between music groups...everyone can be happy in their beliefs. :-)
Unfortunately, the most one-eyed fans, if you want to call them fans, are the ones who are heard the most. So we are pretty much on the same page.
Glenn Stromberg, a very good soccer player, who played in Serie A in Italy for many years, said from time to time that fans should put most of their energy into loving and supporting their own team, but still be able to respect the skill and talent of the opposing team. Everything else only limits the experience of watching and understanding soccer.
@@jagjag3236 I think of music as art. There are no scores, there are no world record times, there is nothing to compare. Is Van Gogh better than Renoir or Picasso? You might have your particular favorite but that says nothing about their relative merits. Is Twain better than Steinbeck or Vonnegut? I get what you're saying about fan bases, but so often programs like twitter or tiktok or facebook want to drive wedges between people and that is not real. I like Band-Maid. I like Babymetal. I like Nemophila. I like Lovebites. I also like System of a Down, Queens of the Stone Age, Blues Traveler, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and numerous others. If anyone wants me to pick between them, I won't do it. None of them are "the other team."
You missed out! Only paid like $50 for me & my GF tickets to see them in Philly. They played 17 songs for bout 2 hours!

This MV was filmed at a famous stone quarry located in Ibaraki prefecture, north of Tokyo. It's privately owned but welcomes tourists and gives tours.

Okay, Just announced. They'll be in NY on Feb 3 & 4 2023. They are opening for the band The Last Rockstars. Feb 4 tickets are already sold out so they added the Feb 3 show! I don't know how long ago the Feb 3 show was added but Band-Maid just announced like 15 minutes ago that they are opening for them in NY and LA. :D

I have to say of all those bands you saw are good bands worthy of seeing live but Band-Maid is a unique experience, Im sorry to say you chose the wrong band to pass on. I know many people who bought extra tix and would have gifted you a tickets.
Nonetheless,I learned along time ago there are no guarantees especially when it comes to bands and factors that cannot be predicted. Odds are they will return but circumstances just like pandemics and unforseen events can arise and can thwart plans. I am of the belief of the concept of "Seizing the Day".
Well, if the worst comes to the worst, you can always go to Japan and watch them, it may be cheaper than buying re-sale tickets 🤣
First of all, you look like the spitting image of an ex-girldiend of mine. And we did have a wondeful time together. But sometimes she seemed to overlook thingse that really mattered, at least in my view. You paid a lot of money to see some bands and missed the chance to meet a real living legend, called Bandmaid. They are not just a rocknand. They are five dear friends, and it shows. They are more than dedicated, every song sounds better live.Besides their incrdible talent, they ooze fun in whatever they do. One moment you think your heart is bursting for the incredible energy and tightness of their songs, the next you are laughing like a kid about the antics happeming between the songs. Next time, go for the diamond, forget about pearls. There can be only one!!
There is a new Japanese all female metal band, Lonesome_Blue, that is related to Lovebites and Nemophila, all of those bands have members that were previously in the band Destrose. Destrose was a pioneering Japanese all female metal band, that never had commercial success and suffered a revolving membership (there are almost 20 ex-members), has spawned over a dozen bands (though most of them are not active), and broke up in 2015. Kanami, the lead guitarist, was very scared when she stood near the brink of the cliff but she could defy the fear once cameras started to capture her playing scene. Influencer was played in 11 shows during their US tour (13 concerts + 1 festival). In their pre-US concert, it was premiered (live debut) on Sep.7 at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo. Just so you know, I witnessed it at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿.

I think this song was made by them to attract pop fans who also like rap music. The location of the MV is so great that it may sound like a different song when performed live. Well, as everyone has commented, please try "FROM NOW ON".

Almost certainly Japan, maybe two or three times depending on restrictions and venue availability. Europe almost certainly. It will be closing in on four years since their last tour, but Europe has particular problems with logistics plus a certain rogue state that has decided to wage war with its neighbor. They've never been to South America. They will have to gauge the interest before committing to anything but I'd guess they can sell tickets in Buenos Aires, Lima, Bogotá, São Paulo and/or Rio de Janeiro. Certainly Mexico City, or they might group it with Vancouver and Toronto in a U.S. tour. There's not much time for the U.S. but they've been sitting around for basically three years, so if they think they can sell out 15 shows they might do it. If they can afford a tour bus, it seems like it really alleviates the wear and tear of a three or four week tour. This opinion is almost definitely worth 2¢.

Miku says "chit-chat chit-chat" is in japanese"ちっちゃ". It means "He/She is petty-minded" "He/She is a person of small caliber"
