The moment I saw the scrambled words of each boss I knew this was gonna be a Nier Replicant Moment where NG+ will be heartbreaking knowing what they are actually saying.
They aren't actually scrambled, but a really difficult text to read. When you're fighting the boss it's near impossible to decipher because, well, you're trying to survive. But i noticed i could read the King of Puppets words while watching a friend fight the boss.
What if Carlo isn’t going to be the tin man, but Romeo. I mean think about it Dorothy finds the Tin man frozen and helps him move again. What if she was the ability to restore memories of objects including puppets. Maybe by returning to places from memory she is able to teleport. So if she restores Romeo’s puppet bodies memories then he would be without all his ergo, therefore without his emotions. So he would have to go with her to seek a new heart. His death animation is also convincing as the characters don’t actually disappear they just become invisible to us after death as evident by the cutscene after killing Andreus. All he really does is take a knee he doesn’t fall apart like the parade master. Playing as Romeo in the next game would be cool as he tries to repair his body and get a new heart while helping Dorothy. He already has a grindstone lol, he drags his scythe across his arm before his 10 fire slashes.
Like all of us who have been playing. I felt that each character has multiple roles in each fairy tale represented. And I feel that parasolsis is also the cowardly lion. I'm hoping my thoughts are correct that he actually has a confident fierce demeanor that he hides under the cowardly frail persona he presents.
There's something that has been bothering me a bit about the game. I'm close to completing my third playthrough, searched Google for anything pertaining to this, but nothing comes up. At the beginning of the game, when you approach the hotel, Sophia tells you to lie, correct? The word "lie" is in red, and is the only other time that red text is used. The other time is when you get the recording from Veignini and Romeo mentions the Zero Commandment, the name of the one the puppets must obey. Giuseppe Gepetto, is in red. I don't know if this means anything, but I just found it odd that the only two times red text is used, is the word Lie and Gepetto's mention as being the subject of Commandment Zero. Is someone framing Gepetto, is Romeo lying to the player? Dunno, thought it was worth mentioning.
Gepetto is the one behind the frenzy, both he and Simon were gathering Ergo to power up the Arm of God to achieve different things, Gepetto to resurrect his son Carlo and Simon to become a god, but at the same time Sophia was doing her plan to be free of Simon by using P and her time powers. Romeo was only being manipulated by the frenzy, but he also tried to use the puppets to fight off the carcasses that where in the city.
Great video. Something been bothering about lies of p. How did the watchmen boss get to the swap dump area or who took the watchmen there. If everyone was being killed and the survivors stayed inside. After you defeat the watchmen at city hall how was it bought to the swamp area?
The same way that you can still see the flaming puppet balls rolling down to the Barren Swamp from Venigni Works, even though the Puppets would have probably been better off to just stop that process and use even broken parts to make new puppets. Seeing as how Fuoco didn't close this process down after taking control of the puppet factory, he might have taken it as a form of burial alongside his religious devotion to the King of Puppets. I think it was at least a matter of "Murphy" having an awoken ergo, and therefore the other puppets decided he was worth taking all the way to Venigni Works (Which is the exact next area you go to after Scrapped Watchman) for the burial process of dumping him into the swamps. From there, the Green Beast probably just dragged the broken puppet to it's lair to play with.
Not entirely confident with this answer so take it with a grain of salt. I'd assume that the watchman we fight is the one that was finished and worked. I believe the one in the swamp may have just been a prototype that was unfinished or didn't work properly so they threw it into the dump. Obviously just speculation but with the amount of plain puppets in the area just seems to be it's a dumping ground for broken or unfinished puppets
What do you think of the Trinity. I've been thinking about what exactly this is and the more I ponder it the more outside of this game I go. I'm wondering if the trinity isn't something within Krat but that Krat is one part of the Trinity, more so the Ergo that was found below Krat. The Alchemists set up shop here to study Ergo because they saw the amazing qualities it had. Maybe they are also set up in 2 other locations, OZ being one of them. I just think there is so much more to the trinity then just 3 people. We have such little lore on the trinity that it feels like it might be setting up for something more. Just wondering what you think about it,

I'm hoping for a boss weapon that actually scales with advance in the DLC. Bummer there wasnt a single one for advance builds in the game.
