      Kelce/Kittle is #1/#2 TE (can make argument for either or) so they got a TOP TE, they got TOP WRs, you gotta dbl or have safety coverage over the top for T Hill cause of his pure speed, Watkins aint no slouch either, so if you dbl Hill ( which Houston did) then you leave the short/mid game open for people to have 1-on-1s which Kelce did and once they caught rhythm and were catching balls, it was over.
      Only thing Chiefs lack is a solid RB and run game to supplement their deadly pass attack game.
      Not to mention they got great scheming and play calling via Andy Reid, so many things coming together to enable the QB to shine here, you can't just say its cause Mahomes is great, he is, but he is only able to shine this bright because of the complimentary pieces and team literally being built around him.
      Look at Lamar, with new offensive scheme to match his strengths -> literally MVP season followed.

    Mahomes accuracy is phenomenal. Dude puts it exactly on the money almost every time with ridiculous touch. His control of the offense is masterful. He's been making audibles since day 1, moves defenders with his eyes, makes great pre-snap reads and adjustments, and he's got that rare ability with his hard count to draw guys offsides, which we have recently seen from Manning and Brady. This isn't even talking about his natural raw talent, which is up there with Dan Marino and his ability to scramble while keeping his eyes down the field. Lamar Jackson isn't close to what Mahomes is, although Jackson is a special franchise QB.

      Nick Seul sure, the award is based off of that...
      But the true MVP isn’t someone who doesn’t even play in the playoffs or does and lays an egg.
      There’s certainly no comparing Lamar’s blowout loss to Mahomes leading his team to a historic win...and he doesn’t even have the moves or speed to run like Lamar.
      All yards and how many TDS to show for it? Was pathetic. Definitely not the true MVP.

    Mahomes has the slight edge as QB. As a leader, Mahomes is the best I’ve seen in the league. He had guys dropping passes all over the place, not to mention all the other gaffs. He stayed calm and collected and LEAD his team to an improbable comeback. He didn’t throw his helmet around, he didn’t sit around and feel sorry for himself. Yes, he had help from the spark of Mecole’s return and a great stop by Sorenson, but without Mahomes’ confidence and leadership they don’t complete that comeback. “Attitude reflects leadership”, and this kid has a great attitude.

      That’s just dumb. Alex Smith proved being average isn’t good enough. Mahomes is clearly the best player because he makes plays and enables his play makers to make plays. Kelce and Hill both have numbers that far exceed what they were with Smith. Thanks to Mahomes, they both broke franchise records for their positions. They did that because they have the best player throwing them the ball, not an average one.

    • @jeffwilliams2828
      @jeffwilliams2828 4 года назад

      @@ThisGuyDrives I'm sorry but that's not exactly true. Tyreek Hill is being targeted less than he was with Smith and MORE of those throws are UNCATCHABLE according analytics. Kelce is doing the exact same thing he did with Smith. 1000 yards in each season, but Mahomes is throwing to Kelce MORE while Sammy and Hill are getting less looks. Mahomes, like most young QBs, is heavily dependent on his TE Kelce. The win loss-record when Kelce is out shows this. Mahomes is great, but saying a QB is the best player is disrespectful to actual football players.

"Lamar Jackson because of his body of work" MVP Season, but he's also 1 and done in the playoffs twice, has lost to the Chiefs twice. Meanwhile Mahomes has an MVP season, has back to back AFC Championship appearances, is setting passing records and is 2-0 vs the Ravens with Lamar.
    Then we have "Quarterbacks cant be the best football player" That one speaks for itself. QB is the most important and involved position in football. To say they aren't football players (dafuq?) is asinine.
